Shawnee, Kansas – You may or may not have noticed that David Daleiden’s Center for Medical Progress (CMP) dropped a video about a week and a half ago proving that some Planned Parenthood affiliates have been selling baby body parts for profit illegally. It includes footage of abortionists speaking bluntly about it, offering each other advice on how to do it while speaking in ways that protect them from being charged for this crime. It got a little media coverage, but not a lot. I saw the Federalist put up a piece about it and the Christian Post do an article.

If this was just a one-off designed for a single press pop the results would be disappointing. But it is not. This is the first shot of a larger, sustained effort to show how PP routinely thumbs their nose at laws that conservatives and Christians have to live rigorously by. More importantly, it will reveal, through actual footage, that PP is not the advocate of women it claims to be, but entirely focused on profits by killing babies and commodifying their organs and other parts. What we do in America under the rubric of “women’s rights” on this subject makes the ancient god, Moloch, who demanded constant child sacrifice, look like a moderate.

Hideously, France just enshrined abortion as a constitutional right – which means medical personnel may not refuse to participate as a matter of conscience. Ironically, France is both more radical AND more restrained than we are in America – for France outlaws exercising this “right” after 14 weeks of gestation.

Democrats in America have eagerly embraced the abortion issue, believing it will be the wind beneath their wings this election cycle. That is something I am very glad of, for as the worm turns I think it will be a millstone they are saddled with. Of course, when that worm turns they will likely deny they ever did what they are crowing about right now – just as they have with destroying border security. That act, however, has gotten very old. People aren’t buying it anymore. So I am glad to see them chain themselves tightly to the abortion issue – and will watch with amusement when they start frantically trying to shed the chains they, themselves, have devised.

The last month I have heard from more people going through soul-crushing problems and controversies than I ever have in my life before. I think the time is, indeed, short and the devil is throwing everything he can to rock your world, shake your confidence, and kick you into despair. The need to be deliberate and steady has never been greater. Keep your eyes on Jesus and endeavor to do your duty with fidelity. If I had a dime for every weeping, terrified, despairing, or angry call I have gotten in the last month I could probably replace my Subaru. This, too, is part of being shaken in God’s winnowing fan in preparation for crisis. Keep steady and deliberate and you will come out stronger, better prepared for the vicissitudes of the storm.

As it is written in 1 Peter 4:12,13, “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which comes upon you to prove you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice in so far as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.”  

Then remember that it is Christ, Himself, who foretold that, “…many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:10-13) Did He call it or what?

Acknowledge God, take the next right step, and be a sign of hope to those around you. Endure to the end and your eyes will see the glory of the Lord and the renewal of the world. Do not be shaken that the journey to that end is harsh and demanding. We have entered the valley of death, yet must fear no evil – for He is with us. Do not let the creep show that surrounds us get the better of you. Let it prove your love and trust. And comfort one another along our way.

  3. The Valley of the Shadow of Death…. My grandfather taught me the 23rd Psalm; well, I guess I taught it to myself because I heard him say it every morning when I would spend weekends with my grandparents when I was younger. Every morning while he made his coffee and his breakfast, he recited Psalm 23, Psalm 118:23, and 1 John 4:16. When I was there for the weekend, he would wait until I got up before saying his prayers; then he would say them out loud so that I could listen and eventually pray along. He was such an example to me, and he’s a big reason that I am Catholic today. May he intercede for me and for the entire ASOH/CORAC family as we walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

Jaxon saw Jesus on a book shopping with Tommy and he said, “Daddy, look JeJe!” Tommy was pretty touched and impressed and called me about it! It’s so fun being a grandparent!   4. I probably could increase your upgrade from your Subaru to 10 Mercedes with my family’s sorrows. So much in such a short time. It is exhausting and trying, but the eye must be focused on Jesus. I thank you for your words to encourage our hearts to trust in God and take the right step. It is what the troops need, especially when the morale sinks. God bless you and your apostolate.   5. Charlie, mike and I have been going through a lot these days too with constant babysitting (which we absolutely Love) but leaves little time for anything else 😂😂😂. I’m personally working harder than I’ve ever worked before in my whole life but it could be because I’m old too!😂😂😂. I was telling Mike a lot about what I heard heaven was like this morning which he didn’t know strangely.,,,I was telling him we’d all be young again and have a full head of hair back (boy did he like that 😂) and our poor broken down bodies wouldn’t hurt anymore (mikes pretty much an 80 year old in a 60 yr old body with all the molten aluminum foundry work he’s done his whole life!)

    So the reason I mention all that is because I feel it’s very important in these days to remember that whatever hardships may come, we have to keep our eye on the prize, hoping that someday, we’ll all be together again, perfected as Our Heavenly Father is and hopefully be in the great kingdom of God alongside the whole celestial court!

    Oh Jesus, Mary and Joseph please comfort all those who called Charlie and are so beside themselves! Please grant the grace of conversion to all of your kids who are wandering aimlessly not knowing the love of God or neighbor yet! And please please please dearest Jesus, Mary and Joseph, please help all of us to suffer well and be able to offer up all our pains and sorrows to your most Sacred Heart, Mary’s Immaculate Heart and St Joseph’s chaste heart! ❤️

    The surrender novena I believe is very powerful in these times! Oh Jesus, we surrender ourselves to you, take care of everything🥰🙏⛪️📿👼

  7. First Reading (Read 2 Chron 36:14-16, 19-23)

    This reading tells us the sad story of the decline of “all the princes of Judah, the priests, and the people” into great decadence (Sound familiar?). We see that God’s punishments are always provoked by man’s disobedience and covenant infidelity, but they also always hold within them the promise of hope. The reason for that is God’s great, unquenchable love for us. Early and often God sent prophets to call the people back to their covenant with Him, because He had compassion on them.  They refused to listen, so when there was “no remedy,” God allowed the Babylonians to attack Jerusalem, destroy the Temple, and carry the inhabitants off into exile.  However, Jeremiah, the prophet whose dire warnings of impending judgment are among the darkest writings in Scripture, held out a flicker of hope after the chastisement:  “Until the land has retrieved its lost Sabbaths, during all the time it lies waste it shall have rest while the seventy years are fulfilled.”  The Exile would not last forever.  When the punishment had served its purpose, which was to make the people realize what they had lost and to resolve to cherish their covenant with God more deeply, it ended.  The LORD stirred Cyrus, king of Persia (who had conquered Babylon) to allow the Jews to return to Judah.  He even gave them help to rebuild the Temple.  All was not lost!

    St. John gives us an explanation of what Jesus came to do.  Jesus is God’s healing for us.  Those who reject Him remain sick with the serpent’s poison from Eden—they remain full of death (“whoever does not believe has already been condemned”).  The Son of God crucified on the Cross makes explicit what St. John tells us:  “The light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil.” Those who look at Jesus lifted up and believe He is their only hope for forgiveness and new life come “to the light.”  They are born anew into eternal life.  As a result, their “works may be clearly seen as done in God.”

  8. Adding my prayers for all who are being mightily challenged in these days. Both with those in CORAC and with those all around me, people are surely feeling the push of the enemy and his cohorts. It’s good to recall Romans 5:20: “But law came in, with the result that the trespass multiplied; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,”

    Agree with Linda about the efficacy of the Surrender Novena, and, lest we forget: The Prayer of Miraculous Trust as well as the Brazen Serpent Prayer (and the Rosary meditations developed by our CORAC Prayer Teams Committee) are precious prayer resources which invite us to rely more fully on God while stoking the flame of faith, hope and love within.

    A beautifully potent consolation and a sure way forward at times like this can be found in meditating with Scripture via Sonja Corbitt’s insights on the connection between Thanksgiving and Wisdom. Love the title of this podcast as it brings to memory some old TNRS pieces wherein Charlie reminds us that the Lord, Whom we love and serve, is a God of abundance and does not leave us bereft.

    1. Kevin, I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of “Cabrini.” I went and saw it this weekend with my daughter. My dad went and saw it with his wife. My oldest son then went and saw it with his girlfriend. We all loved it. My husband had to work this weekend, so he hasn’t seen it yet. But if it’s still in the theaters in our town next weekend, he wants to go see it. I’ll go with him and see it again.

CD, the discernreport.com about American pastors shows a list at the end of the article, of who took $ to deceive the flocks. There’s Catholic Charities again! They’re not satisfied with transporting illegal aliens all over the place (we hear about it all the time down here in SoCal on our local news). There was a saying a number of years ago about donating to a diocese: ”No dogma, no dollar”. Need to change that a bit for now!

  15. Problems and controversies, yep, sounds stressfully familiar since early February. I’ve messaged some CORAC friends for prayers, which feel like warm blankets covering me, ahhh. At Mass Sunday during the Our Father, it hit me to forgive those who trespass against us, and my spirit immediately broke into a series of forgiveness prayers for those who are attacking me. With joy I say I forgive, I forgive! A rush of peace poured into my soul, and I continue to pray to forgive from the depths of my heart. Wow, what a tool in the spiritual battle, praise Jesus!

I can’t help wondering 🤔 and thinking either Charlie told Cardinal Burke about the significance of Our Lady of Tepeyak or cardinal Burke read Charlie’s blog about the significance of Our Lady of Tepeyak 😂😂😂.     1. Dear Linda, long has Cardinal Burke had a deep devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, even before Charlie became known as he has. Prior to being named a Cardinal, then Bishop Burke of Lacrosse, WI founded the well known Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe located in LaCrosse. Knowing well the history of how Our Lady intervenes when her children unite in prayer, beseeching her intercession, as well as what she did for, an estimated, nine million Aztecs – ending human sacrifice and bringing the living to conversion – when she appeared as Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Cardinal specifically chose her patronage for this Nine Month Novena. I love that its appeal has spread far and wide via so very many of Catholic apostolates and I have confidence that it will bear great fruit!!
