Our First Third World Election

When Donald Trump was leading in the big “toss-up” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia and North Carolina last night, all run by Democrats, suddenly, at almost the same time, the states quit counting votes. Had to get home and get their beauty rest, you know. That has been the go-to move for authoritarian states with electoral systems for over half a century. If the vote is going against you, stop counting long enough to go manufacture enough votes to overcome your deficit. Immigrants from Venezuela were shocked as they never expected to see Hugo Chavez style tactics in American elections. But here we are.

After they stopped counting in Michigan, an early update this morning showed 138,339 new votes – and the split among them was Biden: 138,339 and Trump: 0. (Update – The fellow who reported this has since recanted, with the Detroit Free Press reporting it was a clerical error. I did think this was over the top brazen. When all those states stopped counting at almost the same time, that was brazen enough for me)  They’re not even trying to hide what they are doing here. For too long, the left has made progressively more brazen offenses – and the worst they suffer when caught is to get a do-over. When they are totally obsessed with power, why wouldn’t they just be brazen under those circumstances? I don’t know whether I am madder at the denizens of social media and the press who are trying to cover for this open mass voter fraud, or the weenie conservatives who have said that we should wait for all the facts to come in before jumping to conclusions. Some things are obvious on their face – and dithering conservative commentators who are flaccid in the defense of liberty for fear of hurting a leftist’s tender feelings have been the death of us.

We have been heading this way for a very long time. Back in the days when I was in radio, “motor-voter” was all the rage with the smart set. Any time you registered a vehicle or had just about any interaction with the Dept. of Motor Vehicles, you were automatically registered to vote. I complained at that time that this was obviously an effort to get more names on the rolls who would not vote, in order to easier facilitate voter fraud – which is a mainstay of Democrat campaign plans. It is not hard to register to vote – and it ensures that the people registered will actually be likely to vote – and so more difficult to use as shills for fraudsters. All a fraudster has to do is look at the voter rolls, find the names on there who never vote, and they can safely stuff the ballot box under those names. Then we described voter ID as a form of voter suppression. ID’s are used to get a bottle of beer, open a bank account, get on an airplane, and even get into a night club – but we can’t insist on knowing who is showing up to vote in our elections and whether they are eligible. This begat Democratic organizations in many cities getting busloads of people to go from poll to poll posing as people on the rolls who didn’t vote – and cast their votes for Democrats at multiple precincts – all day long. It was a go-to move in New Orleans for a long time. Then we had large-scale “early” voting, the better to break the chain of custody that once helped ensure that the only ballots counted were those legitimately cast before witnesses. In 2008, Senator Norm Coleman (R-Minn) won by a little over 700 votes in his race with Democrat Al Franken. Lo and behold, Franken’s forces found trunkfuls of ballots and was declared the winner after all. It was an obvious fraud, but Republicans didn’t want to make too big of a fuss. We have been barreling towards open third-world style election fraud for almost three decades – and with the massive mail-in campaign this year, we are here. I am thankful it happened when we had a fighter in the White House rather than one of the more decorous Republican occupants.

So we will fight. If those Democrat-run states had not stopped the counting last night to give them a chance to manufacture ballots, we would all know that Trump won. I think the odds are about 60-40 that he will ultimately prevail. But in a larger sense, the status quo has prevailed even if Trump prevails. The next year will, I think, be more tumultuous and violent than the last four have been. Petty tyrants at every level have been emboldened to bully their citizens, Constitution and Bill of Rights be damned. We have a long, hard struggle ahead of us.

I am most horrified to know that somewhere around half the country believes that rioting, looting, arson, murder and censorship are great if it supports their political objectives. Minorities did move in dramatically higher numbers into Trump’s camp. But suburbanites – particularly suburban women – moved even further into the Democratic camp than they did two years ago (with the exception of Kenosha, Wisconsin, where the suburban women cannot delude themselves that the mob will never come for them). The spirit of Jezebel is alive in the land – and a good chunk of the American people have become degenerate and entirely self-absorbed. Unless we can turn the tide, that always leads to collapse, even if it happens in slow motion and tens of millions of people are claimed as victims in the process, as happened in the Soviet Union and in China. Collapse, itself, of course, could be the instrument which ultimately turns the tide. I’ve got to confess, I’m kind of rooting for collapse, because a lot more people will be murdered in the power games of these new authoritarians if they manage to hold their system together for a while.

In all the comments I got in the aftermath of all this, two stuck with me. One fellow told me when his wife woke up this morning, she asked him, “Did we choose Barabbas?” Cut me right to the quick. The other, a politically astute fellow with a lot of professional experience asked me if I thought maybe the left WANTS voters to see them steal the election to spark a backlash. Good question. They are itching for a conclusive fight.

What is certain is that, whatever happens, the left will be coming for the faith and the faithful even harder and with more virulence than they have for the last few years. In working with the CORAC team, I want to ensure that we craft and pick our battles to gain real ground – and waste no effort in raw, but impotent, frustration. More than ever, we will have to ban together to defend each other and the basic freedoms we all hold dear. The Rubicon has been crossed and things will never again be as they once were. With discipline, dedication and fortitude we can ultimately make them better. It all begins with the defense of faith, family and freedom.         Sometimes women do come through in the Courage category. I’m disappointed and disgusted by the easily led women I see everywhere today, going with the cool kids, but there are women who are notable exceptions. She is one.

  5. In the early 1980s in the Communist Poland when making a phone call you could hear an operator in the headphone saying to you: ” Rozmowa kontrolowana!” which means “Your call is being controlled/surveilled”. At least it was transparent with the officially Communist system.
    My point is, twitter is doing exactly the same to President Trump, and it is done under disguise of unbiased “fact checking”. Anyway it is ridiculous they are even “fact checking” anything. Can you imagine you are making a phone call to your auntie and somebody interrupts you saying “you are wrong saying that to your auntie, this COVID medicine does not work well” or “you better change the subject of this conversation, it is not good”. It appears we are ALREADY living in the COMMUNIST system in USA under sublime disguises of “fact checking” what is right or wrong for citizens by the COMMUNIST MAFIA of Democratic Party, mainstream media, communication outlets like twitter,google and facebook and other corrupted components of this structure. Hatred for Trump which is driven by even bigger hatred for God is what brings all those evil entities together. Communism is already here. We are deep in it.

Good example of what you are talking about, a couple of weeks ago Newt Gingrich was being interviewed on Fox by Harris Faulkner in which he commented that Soros has been funding the successful far-left campaigns of radical district attorney candidates across the country (a true fact: the Philadelphia DA, the Dallas, DA, etc.) But, suddenly, another reporter on Fox immediately shouted out, “There is no reason to bring Soros into this conversation!” There was an awkward TV silence for a moment. Newt was obviously shocked at this statement and said, “Verboten?” in a rather sarcastic way. And Harris, who was obviously listening to Big Brother in her earpiece, immediately stopped the interview.

      We do now live in the Communist States of America. This Election steal 2020 is now the Coup 5.0 by the radical leftist/globalist against our President Trump and the nation. Thank God, Charlie has started CORAC. We will need this organization now sooner than later. Might as well give CORAC a donation now. People’s money won’t be worth anything once the Great Reset takes place.

        1. I have not ruled it out, Pawel, but I was defrauded on Paypal – and Papal refused to do an investigation. Just Let the fraudster keep my money. It was only four dollars, but I have not used Paypal since. So, I understand. But I have direct experience with the insecure system that is Paypal and their refusal to do anything meaningful to correct actual fraud. I really do not want to expose our donors to that. (They did offer an “appeal” if I objected to their non-investigative decision, but it would have taken at least three months and probably would have cost me about $300. I was just a little guy to them – and they made it clear I could go pound sand.)

          1. I agree with your experience Charlie. Same thing happened to my daughter-in-law. She used Paypal for her Etsy store. It was linked to her checking account. Hackers got in and stole all the money in her checking account, $3,500. She called Paypal immediately when she got an alert on her phone that her Paypal password had changed. It was too late to stop the hackers from getting their money. Paypal did nothing to help my daughter-in-law get their money back. They blew my daughter-in-law off, too.

          2. Wow Charlie, didn’t know that about paypal, shame on them. Once I used my credit card to buy airline tickets to Poland and was double charged (2 x $1600), however, I closely watch what’s going on on my credit card and informed my bank immediately what happened and after a conference phone call in which I was a participant, they made the vendor return $1600 back on my credit card… Anyway, I do not suggest opening paypal accounts for the donors, however, some people who use paypal on regular basis (like myself) thinking it is an additional layer of protection (which may be delusional) may make some donation if there is a paypal option…

Sadly, like the big tech monopoly companies, they too have shamefully censored and shut down conservative and Christian accounts, that their patrons/clients had established for years/decades of building trust and a solid base, tying up funds in the process. Perhaps an alternative would be best.

          I would love to hear from anyone in the *industry* or who has personal experience with a PayPay equivalent option(s) as I too can see the value in offering another means of payment for donations and value word of mouth testimony. ❤

    1. Fr. Z posts a warning on that post to the effect that the laity should not say a certain prayer. This may need clarification by those knowledgeable.

      From my reading, when dealing with demons, we are only allowed to exercise authority over them withing our designated sphere of authority.

      Precision is required in this area, so I will leave it to the more experienced to chime in.

      FWIW, when I saw that warning, I bailed on the post out of an abundance of caution.

        Fr Ripperger (page 9 of Deliverance Prayers for use by the Laity): However, when one does not have authority, rights or duties in relation to another, one could change the words to the following: Jesus, I ASK THEE to bind the spirit of N.
        …This does come with one caveat, viz. it is always inadvisable to say prayers to help another in his spiritual combat when one’s own spiritual life is not in order.
        Fr. also recommends that petition be made to Our Lady under the title of Our Lady of Sorrows.
        This Prayer of Command is on page 13 of the Deliverance Prayers for use by the Laity. When I say these prayers, I always use the petition form because I know I am a sinner. 🙂

      2. It’s good to be cautious in this regard. However, the warning is for only priests to say an exorcism prayer, but lay people can ask JESUS to do the binding. We do have that right, and that way we are not doing what only a priest has the authority to do.

        In the prayer that is posted, we ask Jesus to do the work. It’s always good to be protected by the Precious Blood of Christ, our angels, etc. In prayer ministry we always used to finish by asking Jesus to cleanse us with His Precious Blood.

      4. You misunderstood, Timothy. This prayer on Fr. Z’s site,. plainly states that Fr. Ripperger wants EVERYONE to pray it. He did not even give us the prayer that is strictly for exorcists and priests.

I seem to remember an older post of yours from TNRS, if my memory serves me well, that spoke of the rise in our country of a “benevolent dictator.” This leader would control the country and fight against removal for all the right reasons. I pray we are seeing that come to pass now and Trump will be the embodiment of this prediction.

  10. So I had thought hit me on the way home from work yesterday. I am so sad about what is going on and I don’t fear what will come, but I am so disappointed. Then I had a thought … we are all feeling this way and many more of us are reaching out to Heaven hoping for a miracle, praying and asking. BUT I then wondered how many of us have taken a moment to THANK God for the miracles which we were granted over the last 3.5 years? I suddenly realized that even though the future is still an unknown, still needs prayers and still isn’t looking so bright… we probably have all not taken a moment to review what our good Lord has done for us against all odds.
    While thinking about this, I realized that Trump gave me hope. For 4 years, I knew I was not alone, I found almost no one to talk to about the world but I was not alone. As he was torn down for all he did and vilified, I had reflected in my life about how many times that has happened to me, I re-oriented my perspective thousands of times and trudged through my days with more courage knowing that this is what truly courageous people do, keep on moving, waking up every morning and taking the next step. He was a national example to me. My sadness for his position inspired me daily.
    His imperfections were also an inspiration because I am often attacked in real life and spiritually, but I realized through watching Trump and his accomplishments, especially in the pro-life camp, that God doesn’t need perfect, he needs resolve. I may not have perfect words but I have resolve and love and I will stand firm and keep moving towards God with every step. If Trump could get things done, I could have thicker skin too.
    So what am I getting at? We all need to continue praying for what is going on, but I think that we need to take a time to reflect with our families and recognize how the Lord has answered prayers, mitigated Satan and slowed the clock- all for our spiritual growth over the the past years. I think that along with our asks we need to give God some credit today and say THANK YOU!! Thanking God is incredibly powerful because it is an act of love. Tell him how much we love Him, how much He has done for us and ask Him for strength for the next day, Many times we add thank you to our prayers, but we probably don’t spend enough time meditating on the actual gifts and miracles we received and continue to receive. This is actually where that Christian joy is found and it is something we are going to need to continue to develop as things get rough.
    So let us with our families tonight, nationwide, take a few moments to truly THANK God for the last few years and pledge continued devotion for each new day to come, no matter what is to come.

  13. Anyone else feeling okay about where we stand even if Trump is defeated? God is in control, not us. The Democrats don’t have enough power in the House and Senate to do much. Voters who aren’t aware of the extent of Joe’s dementia will expect real leadership from him, especially as Covid and the effects of protracted lockdowns persist, and we all know he isn’t capable of it. If the Dems did cheat in large measure, they know they can’t push a radical agenda too far without major backlash in 2022. It was a historic turnout, unprecedented gains with minorities, etc. If Trump had been stronger in the first debate, he may have pulled it off in spite of it all.

    1. Since fraud is the issue, Golden, no matter what Trump did, the criminals are out to win any way they can. It’s a concerted effort to steal the election and those news agencies declaring Biden as victor are in on the fix.

      3. Beckita – I’m aware of the issues and the probable fraud and I don’t believe that Biden won many of these states, but I also question the ability to prove it. By all means, they should pursue the investigations, lawsuits, recounts, etc., but unless some better option emerges, I’m prepared to accept Biden as a possibly false president because truthfully, I think the Democrats are in a position of weakness. The Democrats’ attempt at using Joe Biden as a trojan horse for the radical left agenda failed, and if anything, Donald Trump has proven to be a trojan horse for conservative pro-life women. We have Amy Coney Barrett and 15 new pro-life Republican women in the House. So many people were praying against possible violence surrounding the election, and to my knowledge, that prayer was answered. Philadelphia isn’t burning. It may be the case that Trump pulls out a win. Either way, we have to maintain equanimity. I would love to be proven wrong, but I worry about people going off the deep end. It will be very interesting to see how the Georgia races proceed and how the results line up with the November election, assuming there will be greater scrutiny.

    Consensus is that Guliani is sending a message. It would be like Guliani holding a presser in a pumpkin patch.

    1. SanSan, this is amazing and so is part 2!! In part 2 he says to keep praying after Nov.3 and it was said before the election! Trump’s role in this nation has not ended. In part 1 is the vision of what is coming over our southern border (end of that part); please watch and realize how we need to pray and spread the word. I believe this man, and what do we have to lose by continuing to pray!

    Last week, we published an open letter from Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò to President Trump. It was a warning about the Great Reset, a global conspiracy to usher in a New World Order, a movement of global elites to abolish private property rights using the coronavirus pandemic as a pretext.

    Yesterday, in the midst of the election confusion and apparent voter fraud, he released a powerful new letter urging all Americans to pray:

    As devout Christians and faithful citizens of the United States of America, you have intense and heartfelt concern for the fate of your beloved country while the final results of the Presidential election are still uncertain.

    News of electoral fraud is multiplying, despite the shameful attempts of the mainstream media to censor the truth of the facts in order to give their candidate the advantage. There are states in which the number of votes is greater than the number of voters; others in which the mail-in vote seems to be exclusively in favor of Joe Biden; others in which the counting of ballots has been suspended for no reason or where sensational tampering has been discovered: always and only against President Donald J. Trump, always and only in favor of Biden.

    Children of Darkness

    Archbishop Viganò’s time as an ambassador from the Vatican showed him the power and influence of the Deep State. He applauds President Trump’s strenuous work against the political establishment and the deceptive media.

    In truth, for months now we have been witnessing a continuous trickle of staggered news, of manipulated or censored information, of crimes that have been silenced or covered up in the face of striking evidence and irrefutable testimony. We have seen the deep state organize itself, well in advance, to carry out the most colossal electoral fraud in history, in order to ensure the defeat of the man who has strenuously opposed the establishment of the New World Order that is wanted by the children of darkness. In this battle, you have not failed, as is your sacred duty, to make your own contribution by taking the side of the Good. Others, enslaved by vices or blinded by infernal hatred against Our Lord, have taken the side of Evil.

    Do not think that the children of darkness act with honesty, and do not be scandalized if they operate with deception. Do you perhaps believe that Satan’s followers are honest, sincere, and loyal? The Lord has warned us against the Devil: “He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar and the father of lies” (Jn 8:44).

    In these hours, while the gates of Hell seem to prevail, allow me to address myself to you with an appeal, which I trust that you will respond to promptly and with generosity.

    With Certainty of Being Heard and Answered

    The good Archbishop then turns his appeal that we should all pray “with a sincere soul,” knowing that we will be heard. He prays not just for victory, but “to inflict a humiliating defeat on the forces of Evil.”

    Have your children pray, using the holy words that you have taught them: those confident prayers will rise to God and will not remain unheard. Have the elderly and sick pray, so that they may offer their sufferings in union with the sufferings that Our Lord suffered on the Cross when he shed His Precious Blood for Our Redemption. Have young ladies and women pray, so that they turn to her who is the model of purity and motherhood. And you, men, must also pray: your courage, your honor and your boldness will be refreshed and strengthened.

    …

    Do not allow yourselves to be discouraged by the deceptions of the Enemy, even more so in this terrible hour in which the impudence of lying and fraud dares to challenge Heaven. Our adversaries’ hours are numbered if you will pray, if we will all pray with Faith and with the true ardor of Charity. May the Lord grant that one single devout and faithful voice rise from your homes, your churches, and your streets! This voice will not remain unheard, because it will be the voice of a people that cries out, in the moment when the storm rages most fiercely, “Save us, Lord, we are perishing!” (Mt 8:25).

    This is a “precious occasion,” he says for all of us to be united to our Lord in prayer, to participate in the victory of the spiritual battle. And we have confidence:

    Pray with the certainty of Our Lord’s promise: “Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you” (Lk 11:9). The King of Kings, from whom you ask the salvation of your Nation, will reward your Faith. Your testimony, remember this, will touch the heart of Our Lord, multiplying the heavenly Graces which are, more than ever, indispensable in order to achieve victory.

    May my appeal, which I address to you and to all people who recognize the Lordship of God, find you to be generous apostles and courageous witnesses of the spiritual rebirth of your beloved country, and with it the entire world.

    The gates of hell will not prevail!

    1. Another Hearty TY for posting this! Encouragement and strength is most needed. Also protection from the diabolical disorientation that is trying to lull us into complacency and surrender. I am fighting this at a personal level with my beloveds. It is exhausting and beyond my ability—but not God’s!

      Today at TLM (not our home parish, we have to travel) the wonderful young fighter priest spoke so wonderfully about God asking us now to have a Flint-Face focused on Him. It therefore doesn’t matter that all around us everything crumbles—even our Shepherds–and we are leaderless—we have The Lord. Last Sunday we were all sick (not The ‘Rona) so we had to stay home. It was like getting a drink of water again after 14 days in the desert.

      I sure hope the very little I can offer God can be used in this fight. I give it all to Him. The louder the wind screams the more I find myself personally frozen in cement, having a tough time moving and doing, physically, mentally, emotionally exhausted. I don’t understand, so much is beyond my understanding. But I do believe God has this and I am exactly where He needs me to be. By His grace, I will never stop talking to Him and rising up yet again and giving my little to Him through Her.

      1. I find myself doing a lot of FLY Lady steps these days. Two of my favs, set the timer for 15 minutes and work, the other is the 27 fling boogey. Pick up 27 things(not all at once) and deal with each one. Ya know, the dishwasher almost always gets filled after 27 things. Then take a 15 minute break, repeat. The house gets cleaned, rosaries prayed, supper made, and then it is time to go to bed. Phew one day closer to the rescue.

  38. I am reading Live Not By Lies – a manual for Christian Dissidents by Rod Dreher. Very good.
    He interviewed a Hungarian woman, Maria Wittner, who was imprisoned for her challenge to the Communists. She said, “We live in a world of lies….don’t assimilate to it. It is an individual decision for each person.”
    Rod’s summary to the reader was piercing to me:
    “You have to live in a world of lies, but it’s your choice as to whether that world lives in you.”

    May the Truth of Jesus live fully in all here and may His Light drive out any darkness of lies.

    1. God has always spoken to His children, Catholic or not, in various ways, Pawel. One of my Christian friends who is very connected to the Christian world of prophecy told me there’s a serious crisis right now because of the many who had prophesied an electoral landslide victory for Trump.

      Perhaps, people are searching for other prophetic utterances as a means of comfort in the current aftermath of electoral fraud.

      1. I agree totally Beckita, but one thing is weird, that some of these “hogwash” prophecies with higher view count that suggest Trump will win despite Biden was acclaimed the winner by the media, are banned by youtube. Why would they even care about such hogwash theories?

        I am not saying they are true like the one above, however, let’s wait till January 20th and pray until then.

    Maybe a Third World Coup needs an outside the box plan to stop it on the 1 yard line as the game clock ticks to zero. Here is my outside the box Hail Mary to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in the last minute of the game:

    To begin with, I am wondering how the Supreme Court is going to handle the appeals. The Supreme Court has a lot of skin in this game. A vote to reject Trump’s appeals on some technical fig leaf — eg. no basis to challenge a State Attorney General’s certification of the vote ???? — and endorse the fraudulent Electoral delegations would ease their immediate pain.

    But it would be a suicidal act for the future of the institution. Biden and his Communist puppet masters would move almost immediately to pack the Court turning it into a political star chamber. In the process, snuffing out the Constitution and terminating the life of The United States of America. Even John Roberts must be shaken by that existential prospect arising from a Court decision to ratify the Electors sent by the Swing States to the Electoral College on Dec. 14, 2020 and put into play in the Senate on January 6, 2021.

    How close is the demise of the 3rd branch of Government?

    The Senate now seems to hang on the State of Georgia:

    With Tillis in North Carolina and Sullivan in Alaska apparently re-elected the control of the new Senate as of Sunday Nov. 8 at 50 Republican vs 48 Democrats.

    If the Dems win both seats remaining up for grabs then the split in the Senate would be 50-50 with perhaps Kamala Harris, future President of the United States if the 25th Amendment is invoked by the communist Cabinet sure to hung around Joe Biden’s demented neck.

    If there is a split of the two seats Republicans would control 51 to 49.

    If the Republicans win both races they would control the Senate 52 to 48.

    All the Republicans would have to do to destroy the Supreme Court is lose 2 votes in the Senate amongst the Never Trumpers. See Ben Sasse, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and my favorite Mitt Romney.

    I cannot imagine how much money is going to be poured into those two Senate races in Georgia between now and Jan. 5.

    What do you suppose the chances are for Voter Fraud in Georgia on January 5th with control of the Senate and possibly packing the Supreme Court on the lin in a runoff election the next day on January 6.

    Would the Supreme Court shoot itself in the head on the prospect of all those weak sister Republican holding strong together? Iffy, iffy, iffy.

    My guess is the Supreme Court is going to punt on the basis of extreme repugnance to let this dirty political stinky pile of you know what land on their lap. THEY don’t want to be the fall guys and gals for the failure of the political system to police itself and the cause of the swift demise of their own institution. They won’t want to go down in history as the 9 Black Robes who provoked the Second American Civil War. Because one side or the other is going to be very, very, very unhappy with their decision.

    So who does the Supreme Court punt this mess to? The House of Representatives. How? By issuing some kind of injunction on Secretaries of State certifying the election results in States with litigation pending. Thus, no electors named in the electoral college for those states where fraud is the issue. With a lot of weasel words about how the Constitution provides for just such an occasion. They will punt it back to the politicians.

    Oh, it will take some really dazzling weasel worded reasoning to get it to the House and out of the Supreme Court building. But the Supremes have the best person in the whole wide world at weasel wording a decision in the person of Chief Justice (hah, hah!) John Roberts. He is also the best punter in the world.

    So, IMO, here is where the Hail Mary goal line stand play on the 1 yard line has to shake out in the end: The Twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution which was designed as the place where all punted balls were designed to land:

    Couple of things:

    It is my understanding, subject to correction, that the House of Representatives in the 117th Congress will have 27 State Delegations with a majority of Republicans and 23 States with a majority Democrat Delegation. If form held true under this scenario Trump would be elected President by a vote of 25-23 in the House of Representatives with 2 States hung up in a hopeless split of the delegation.

    Who are the key figures in triggering this event? Those 9 Blackrobes on the Supreme Court and The President of the Senate. Who will be the President of the Senate? Mike Pence.

    ….. The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted; …..

    So, Mike Pence is standing at the podium in front of the whole Congress assembled like at the State of the Union,entire along with the rest of the Globe watching on TV — with perhaps 50 envelopes in his hand (key point of nuance). — ponders his next move. My reading is that IF he opens those envelopes containing those certifications THE VOTES SHALL BE COUNTED. That is to say Pence becomes the final arbiter of the legitimacy of those electors and their votes.

    At that moment in history, Mike Pence is going to have to stand there and act with boldness and courage. He will be the last line of defense at the 1 yard line s Bidne’s team tries to bulldoze the Coup across the goal line. His action will determine hat lies ahead — a free America, One Nation Under God with Liberty and Justice for All, or, the Deep Blue Sea of Communist Oligarchical Despotism. No blinking. No shrinking in the hour of this Nation’s extreme peril.

    Vice President Mike Pence, good Christian that he is, will be called upon to reprise the action of Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain isolated and on his own at the height of Little Round Top in the Battle of Gettysburg. The fate of the Nation will depend on his steadiness, nerve and courage. If he falters at that moment our Nation will cease to exist. At that exact moment.

    Drum roll as the States are called: Pennsylvania — Pence holds the envelope like at the Oscars:

    “And the winner in Pennsylvania is ….. oh, wait … I can’t open this envelope because the Supreme Court has enjoined the Secretary of State of Pennsylvania from certifying these electors. So, I’m setting this envelope aside unopened. Call the next State please.”

    And the room just erupts like Mt Vesuvius.

    Objection, objection, objection!!! The Constitution says the President of the Senate SHALL OPEN THE ENVELOPES AND THE VOTES SHALL BE COUNTED!!!!!

    The ball would be squarely in the hands of Mike Pence. Only the President of the Senate is authorized to open those envelopes. Read that language once again. I suppose Schumer and Pelosi could rush to the podium and jump him and grab his arms and force him to rip open the envelope.

    No pressure, Mike. “Sorry Pelosi and Schumer, no can do. Not gonna open them”

    Oh, the horror! In the vote for President, Pelosi stands up and orders the House of Representatives to walk out. At the same time Schumer leads all their Senators out. All the Democrat Congress people stomp out in a huff. The Republican Members? They just sit there and say bye-bye!

    “When the canvasses are complete in each county, local election officials certify each county’s result and the governor of each state certifies the statewide results. The governor then transmits a copy of the results and the names of the state’s slate of electors to the National Archives.

    December 8, 2020: The safe harbor deadline in the electoral college

    Six days before the electoral colleges convene to vote is the “safe harbor” deadline. While states aren’t legally required to certify their results by this date, if they so do, they can avoid Congress getting involved and resolving a potential dispute over which candidate won a particular state’s electoral college votes.

    The safe harbor deadline came into play during the court challenges over the disputed 2000 presidential election in Florida. It could be a factor this year too if there’s any serious dispute over the 2020 results.

    On the day of the 2000 safe harbor deadline, the US Supreme Court ruled that Florida’s varying recount policies between counties violated the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th amendment by arbitrarily valuing some votes over others.

    The Court still ruled 5-4 to uphold Florida’s certification of the state’s electoral college votes for George W. Bush. The majority opinion was in line with the wishes of the Florida legislature, which wanted the state to certify the results and avoid leaving the winner of the state’s electoral college votes to Congress.

    December 14, 2020: Electors vote

    On the second Monday after the second Wednesday in December, electors convene in all 50 states and the District of Columbia to formally cast their votes for president and vice president.

    They then send certificates of their vote to their state’s chief election official (in most but not all states, this is the secretary of state), the National Archives, and the current President of the US Senate.

    Jan. 3, 2021: The 117th Congress is sworn in.

    The Congress begins its business and serves until Jan. 3, 2023.

    January 6, 2021 at 1 p.m.: Vote count is finalized at the results are certified

    The sitting Vice President, acting as the Senate president, presides over a joint session of Congress to read aloud the certificates cast by the electors representing all 50 states and D.C. in alphabetical order to finalize the vote count.

    If no members of Congress object to any of the certificates in writing, the Senate president officially certifies the selection of the president-elect and vice president-elect.

    January 20, 2021 at noon: The president is inaugurated

    The president and vice president are formally inaugurated and sworn into office. The president is sworn in by the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and the vice president can be sworn in by another government official of their choosing.

    The key to Trump’ legal defense, it seems to me, is to challenge the certification of the electors in the swing states on the basis of all the fraudulent activity and cheating and denying observers access to the counting process etc. etc. etc. An injunction should be sought to halt the certification until the votes are recounted. Those requests for relief should be introduced immediately to halt the certification process in swing state courts and simultaneously in Federal District courts prior to the end of the canvassing process. This requested injunctive relief of course will be rejected by the local state courts.
    These will be appealed to the State Supreme Courts. Those rejections of relief by the State Supreme Courts will be appealed to the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals. The Federal Court of Appeals is likely to kick them right on up to the U.S. Supreme Court. Thus landing the whole certification process in the Supreme Court with a thud.

    On December 8, one month from today, it is pretty unlikely that all the litigation will be completed. Ditto for Dec. 14 when the Electoral College WILL convene in the various states, even the contested swing states, to caste their votes. At that point those votes subject to litigation are going to be hanging in the court balance. Are those votes legitimate to be certified by the State Governors?

    Now picture Mike Pence standing at the Speaker’s podium at 1:00 PM on January 6, 2021. He’s staring at a pile of envelopes with certifications in them. “Nope, I am not going to open these contested envelopes. Next State on the roll call please.”

    The House is forced to elect a President on the spot. A vote will be taken on January 6, 2021 shortly after 1:00 PM. Ready or not. Because the Constitution says so, that’s why. Trump is elected, see tally above.

    The Senate which is sitting there too will vote for Vice President at the same time. All one hundred Senators will be sitting there. Pence will read off the electoral votes for Vice President which are calculated separately from the President’s electors in the envelopes which he opened at the beginning of the joint session.

    So what happens to Mike Pence? Likely the Democrat Senators all 48 to 50 of them in the newly inaugurated 117th Senate just the day before attempt to flee the City. Because they can’t win the vote if the Republicans succeed in carrying one Senate seat. And because by walking out they will prevent a Quorum of 2/3 of the Senators being present. There will be no vote for Vice President for lack of a quorum. . The Seat will go vacant.

    That is unless Pence orders the House and Senate Sergeant At Arms to arrest those fleeing Senators at the door of the House Chamber and compel them to be handcuffed to there seats before they flee the city looking to hide under some rock in order to be absent for Quorum purposes. I think Pence and the Trump team will be ready to slap the cuffs on them and force them to be present whether they wish to vote or not. “The Clerk will announce the number of Senators present in the Chamber pursuant to the Quorum call.” ” All one hundred Senators presented and accounted for Mr. President. 50 of them are wearing handcuffs.”

    Can you imagine the spectacle and the uproar in the House Chamber if the U.S. Supreme Court acts to preserve itself for America and Vice President Mike Pence stands his ground with the gavel in his hands? Oh, Lawdy! Gettysburg deja vu all over again!

    Who steps in as Vice President if the Dem Senators succeed in fleeing the Capitol like rats scurrying away from a sinking ship?

    Yup, you guessed it —none other than the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi or some other Democrat if she gets what is coming to her from her own caucus.

    Mike Pence may be elected by 52 or 51 Senators present depending on the results in Georgia on the previous day Jan. 5. Or, if Georgia sends two Democrats instead he sails off into the sunset. An authentic American Hero. The Man Who Saved America.

    Not a bad way to retire from Politics.

  42. It’s hard to wake up stupid, and practically impossible to wake up someone who’s got a diploma or degree saying they completed their studies.

    For a person to wake up, their baseline for normal would have to be closer to Christian values, otherwise chaos, hate, & sin is their normal.

        The stupid are disobedient rejecting God, his love, & his will, the stupid mock Jesus’ sacrifice, mercy, & judgement. The stupid sin & do evil because they believe they won’t get caught or won’t be held accountable for their actions. The ultimate stupidity is thinking one can deceive or defeat God.

        Forgive others of their stupidity as God forgives us of our own stupidity; Pride is the denial of our own stupidity & Humility acknowledges the truth that we are nothing before God including our exaggerated perception of self.

        I don’t say these things to insult anyone, but to only put things in perspective for the massive overwhelming stupidity surrounding us. Sin & evil = stupidity, won’t offend a humble person.

        2. Al–I think of stupid as meaning rather unintelligent. In confession once I was telling the priest I was so stupid because I kept repeating the same sins. He corrected me and said I can’t use that for an excuse. I think what you are describing is hard heartedness—disobedience to God.

My application of the term “stupidity” is persistence in disobeying God. We could try to split hairs by trying to throw in “ignorance” to try and differentiate from “stupidity” a stupid choice in disobedience to God. The whole human race is rather unintelligent when compared to God & his angels, there’s no disgrace in aknowledging that.

      When I was a kid we had an old Irish doctor in town who used to practice among Irish Americans including my family. He was a gruff no nonsense kind of guy. A Depression Era guy. Went over the each at Normandy. I don’t recall ever seeing him smile. He was a very busy man. Always on the fly moving fast. You got a few minutes with him and off to the next patient. He had more than half the town in his practice.

      He brooked no nonsense from ANYONE. Particularly us Irish people. He used to have a saying when some Irishman he had known all their lives did something or said something STOOOPID about anything under the sun. He would pause for a moment and fix his stare upon the victim in silence for what seemed to be an eternity before laying it down on you:

      ” Are you stupid, or, are you ignorant, or, are you both stupid and ignorant?”

      Man, you didn’t want to be on the receiving end of that non-smiling stare and acid evaluation of your mental capacity. I know how it felt because I was on the receiving end more than once. My siblings too.

      The Doc was not a mean man. On the contrary, he was a kind and compassionate man who approached his practice of medicine as a form of ministry.

      It took me a long time to get over my embarrassment to finally understand what he was trying to do with that cutting comment. The Good Doctor was trying to say that IGNORANCE was fixable. STUPIDITY had no fix. Stupidity was congenital. Like a disease he couldn’t cure. Ignorance could be fixed. Fixed with education. Ignorance was curable but could only be cured by the person he was staring at. Ignorance was often not the patient’s fault. Others may have kept him in a state of ignorance.

      Both stupidity and ignorance made him angry. So much stupidity and so much ignorance.

      Still goes, IMO. You have nailed it. Are you Irish by any chance?

        1. I used to teach my students that…the difference between ignorant and stupid. We all are ignorant if we haven’t learned something. We are stupid when we have learned something and choose to ignore it.

          1. That was probably a pretty solid understanding on the topic back in the day when “common sense” still existed and society wasn’t drowning in a dictatorship of relativism. Sure we’re all ignorant, some people choose to go against what they learned, and we have a new massive phenomenon of people choosing to define their own reality rejecting to learn eanything else (even sound reasoning & evidence to the contrary). I observed those who choose to define their own reality to be worse than those who ignore what they learned.

  49. It is just a speculation from me. But if the war with China is bound in a short period of time, Biden’s win would make little sense. No I am not saying Trump loves wars. I bet Satan would love to keep Democrats in power as long as possible under the disguise of Democracy ( btw old days Communism was at least transparent and in 1980s people knew in Poland it was ridiculous ), Democracy which is in fact has been evolving into undercover Communism 2.0. And Satan seeing he is losing his ground may launch in his desperation ultimate war with the help of Communist China, which perhaps at least in the beginning will attack not openly with the hands of its proxy satellites that is North Korea or Iran, not sure about Russia. But if that’s going to be the case, it would mean Prince of Darkness is losing his dominion over the world.

    2. Hadn’t heard that they were appealing to the Supremes so soon.

      I hope the appeal is to have the Supreme Court enjoin the Governors/Secretary of States of the Fraud State Battleground States from certifying the Electors from those States until the legality of the votes in those states is settled. And, that the Supreme Court order the States to review each ballot and the ballot recording and reporting systems to assure a fair election and that review to be under the control and direction of the Court. That Certification of Electors is scheduled for Dec. 14, 2020.

      The Supreme Court in order to protect itself from being packed by people who make no secret of their designs on the Supreme Court must act to protect the 3rd Branch and the Constitution by putting the Certification of Electors to the Electoral College into suspended animation until the States can verify those ballots and ballot systems.

      Then they should just sit on that decision. And just wait.

      In essence they would be requiring a revote under strict monitoring to prevent fraud.

      Will that process be settled by Jan. 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM when the House and Senate and Mike Pence presiding in the House Chamber ready to count Electoral Votes? Short answer: No.

      The States will be unable to comply with fair election required by the Supreme Court. They don’t want a free and fair election. That was signified when at least 5 States simultaneously ordered a halt to the vote count at Midnight on Election Day to determine how and where to plant the fake ballot results and then order the counting to continue at 3:00 AM reporting an immediate increase in Biden’s vote tally in the hundreds of thousands of votes to none for Trump. The Governors will submit the list of Electors they want in defiance of the U.S. Supreme Court.

      Mike Pence will decline to Certify those Electors and their votes. It’s his call under the Constitution.

      Mike Pence will save America. We need to pray him up and the Secret Service needs to keep him alive.
