    1. Juls and Annie and All. From the Q & A about Zoom:
Q: Is it easy for attendees to join?
A: Attending a Zoom Webinar is as straightforward as clicking on a link. Webinar attendees do not need their own Zoom account to join a Webinar. You can join through a browser or the Zoom client from any desktop, laptop, mobile device, or Zoom Room. People joining from H.323/SIP systems join as panelists by default.

      1. Sometimes ours is open, sometimes not. If it’s not, I usually just stand at the door and press my face to the window, or sit on a nearby boulder.

Γ’οΏ½οΏ½Γ’οΏ½οΏ½Dear children! In this peaceless timeΓ‚ in which the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself, I am calling you to persevering prayer, so that in prayer you discover the God of love and hope. Little children,Γ‚ take the Cross in your hands. May it be your encouragement for love to always win, in a special way now when the Cross and faith are rejected. You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son, Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my son!”

      1. Haha Linda! My husband DVR’s all the old ‘great’ reruns. I was a Hallmark junkie until I learned that they are starting to add morally unwanted situations to their movies and commercials. It’s been hard not to watch them (especially the Christmas ones), but I don’t want to support the channel if it is going the wrong way. We are canceling our Satellite TV at the end of this month so no more temptation from that at least.

Thanks for posting Mary’s message! I needed to hear that today. God Bless you!

        1. Charlie mentioned Mayberry in his zoom 🏎 speech yesterday!!! You know we have the WHOLE SET on Blu-ray dvd?!?! I’ve heard too Patrick Madrid talk about the whole Walton’s series… I dunno…these days we’re pretty stuck on Tucker. I’m excited for the Mayberry days to come back. We still have Netflix but I don’t know why…waste of $! Can’t find a darn thing on it and I’m not sure the owner is doing good stuff! I heard about hallmark singingjuls! Never really did get into that ones… their Christmas shows always seemed to be more about clothes, fancy houses, and well lit trees but to me, they seldom mentioned the birth of Christ???? I dunno πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ…guess we should all just shut down the tv πŸ“Ί these days! lol

          1. Mayberry, I am so looking forward to simpler times. Lots to go through to get there though.

You’re right Linda about Netflix, Prime is that way, too. My daughter has the subscription for both. I look but never really find anything good. They used to have an inspirational category but that disappeared from both of them a while ago I think. Really don’t go on them very often. For Hallmark, I guess I never really thought about the material stuff. Just mostly liked the story lines but now they overdo Christmas stuff. The older Hallmark movies used to have more christian themes to them. I do like some of the movies on the inspiration channel, but I am more like you nowadays. I miss the days when you looked forward to a special movie that came on only at a certain time of year, or on a holiday. By having everything on demand the excitement of looking forward to something has literally been taken away. BTW, love Tucker!

            1. Ohhhh Tucker rocks and has guts, doesn’t he!!! Wow

We do watch Christmas πŸŽ„ vacation ev Christmas and it’s a wonderful life also… such great stories both of them. One funny as all heck and the other one just so full of real life stuff and the value of genuine friendship and loyalty. Not too much of that these days sadly.

Singingjuls did you hear about the new Fatima movie coming soon to outside theatres and online viewing?!?! That should be a wonderful story!!

I hope the new times come soon too singingjuls!!! I think we’re all so over this already! The only thing that scares me is the 40 years the Israelites wandered through the 🌡 🐫 desert! 😫 I imagine we deserve much worse than they!!!😫

You talked about the Fatima movie once before, Linda. I look forward to seeing it if it ever makes it out. Crazy times we live in, and you’re right, I don’t think 40 years would even begin to atone for all the babies and seniors we’ve lost. Jesus forgive us and have mercy on us!

  3. happy that we can join via Zoom……but I hate Zoom and Tik Tock because the Communist Chinese Gov own it and use it for surveillance against the USA…….

This is last minute, so OK…..but maybe we can use another platform next time that isn’t owned by the CCP. I think Viber is a platform that might work. I will research it.

  4. FYI-just some safety measures to avoid β€œzoombombing”. Y’all may want to consider having those joining wait in the β€œwaiting room” until you allow them in and then may consider β€œlocking” the meeting after so much time in order to protect the meeting. Zoombombers have been responsible for β€œbombing” meetings with pornography, hate speech, etc.

Just thought I’d pass that along. God Bless!

  5. People can just phone in, too, without downloading the video capacity. (That’s what I’ve done since early March, more times than I would ever have imagined, for various meetings and conferences!)

I’m not going to post the phone numbers here (to help prevent Zoombombing), but I will post them on the Leaders site.

  6. Looks like lots will be zooming and I’ll be at Mass so probably won’t make it in time to get in under the 100 limit, but will try. Is someone going to be video or audio taping this also?

therefore many of us will be unable to attend. perhaps it will be recorded and we can watch it later.

  10. Greetings from Limon, Colorado. Our doggies needed a bathroom break, so we left after the luncheon. Fantastic Italian Brisket and the carrot cake was to die for.
It was wonderful meeting new people. We sure are a great basketful of squirrels. Even though we were in the audience it will be good to watch it again. There was a lot of information talked about. Also, I would encourage anyone who has not been posting comments to speak up. We met a nice couple from here but I have never seen their names in the comments. I am sure glad we came just to be able to meet them. It is important we get to know each other even if it is just a glimpse.

Thank you to all who have prayed for the safety and success of this event.
    Blessings from Colorado

  11. I was late to party by 20 minutes (adoration until 2:00 Central) and wasn’t able to get in. Full house. Disappointing but I’ll be watching for the video.

And now for something completely different.
With virtually every corporate retailer jumping on the Virtue Signaling bandwagon requiring “face coverings” (their words), I’m pretty much forced to comply. Did I say ‘comply’? I meant ***comply***. I came up with a way to get by the Gatekeeper and have some fun at the same time. Here’s what happened today: Pay particular attention to the first 3 seconds. That’s the key. Juvenile? Yes but I made some people smile and yes…even laugh today. I’m fully aware of the consequences that crime carries in these times but I’ll take one for the team.
    Enjoy!

    1. Okay, if we’re being creative with “face coverings”, I think the ladies may just have an advantage … a piece of apparel that actually comes with adjustable straps which would fit nicely over the ears, another adjustable strap behind the back of the head, and which if adjusted correctly in front could offer the bare minimum of material to cover the nose and mouth, ideally allowing for actual breathing to take place … Plus, this versatile item of apparel would offer you squirrel-like cheeks on either side of your face in which to store small items whilst on your way to the grocery checkout register …

… If a moderator wishes to veto this idea by deleting this post, I will understand …

  13. “If all lives don’t matter none do” That statement of Charlie is worth some meditation. for if all lives don’t matter there will always be some who are disposable, whether it be the unborn, the undesirables, white, police, Jews, the wealthy, etc. and we would be relagated to a state of constant conflict without peace. And if we don’t respect God’s standard that “All lives matter” we would be unable to appeal to God for help in finding peace either. And sadly, that is where we are headed.

  15. Zoom meeting was great yesterday, Charlie! I’m anxious to see it again though when I can really digest your talk!

Sort of a cool story here:

I went to my yearly visit this morning to Doc Keller!!! My bloodwork is HORRIBLE!!! High risk for diabetes (which they forwarded me of many moons ago as my firstborn was 11 lbs at birth) cholesterol through the roof so i have to go on meds again but all in all i was a pretty happy camper regardless!

Doc Keller, on the other hand looked pretty stressed out. Normally, Doc Keller is joking, upbeat and generally smiling from ear to ear! Not this time!

I said, “Doc, are you ok?” He looked up at me from his position, (I was still stilling on the examination table,) and said, “Ya know, Linda…my WHOLE LIFE I’ve been trying to help and cure people by science! These days, everything is running on science a little bit, but MOSTLY on politics! I just don’t know how to fight this thing anymore!”

I smiled, at him and began telling him about the “rescue,” that was coming and how Charlie said, “when this thing is all over, it’ll be like Mayberry once again!” He wasn’t buying it. I continued to tell him that God is separating the sheep from the goat currently and that I HOPED I was a sheep! Doc responded, “What’s wrong with goats? Don’t we need goats too?” lol

Well…he didn’t believe me at all and probably wanted to put me on an anti-depressant or anti-hallucinigins at that point!

I proceeded to the nurses station…they too looked sort of down and I asked the receptionist how she was doing,

“i’m ok!” she said not very enthusiastically, “These times are very hard.”

Then I asked her is she was Catholic. “No,” she said, “Lutheran. Same thing.”

I then began telling her about the Blessed Mother and all her messages of a rescue and suddenly the three other nurses in the room got all excited and started chiming in on Mary and all her messages throughout the world and they all knew about the era of peace coming too!

Doc Keller heard us from the other room and said, “Mary who?”

We all exclaimed back to him, “Mary, the Blessed Mother!!!”

I told the nurses and the receptionist that Charlie said it would be like Mayberry when it was all over with! They all liked the sign of hope very much! What a difference there was and how wonderful it was to see their smiling faces get sooooo excited! lol Maybe if you all will say a little Hail Mary for Doc Keller. He was pretty sad. I hope he looks into it as he is a very good man, indeed!

    It was really cool!!!

Thanks again Charlie for being a sign of hope for all of us squirrels and teaching us all how to give hope to those whom God puts in our path!

        1. You know, Little One and Linda, there’s aren’t any particular pieces in the archives dedicated to describing details of life in Mayberry. It’s actually the spirit of that era, as portrayed in the series, which will return. What I love is the way we’re already carrying that simplicity and dedication to the Gospel values even as there’s mayhem all around us and there’s an exciting future with rebuilding what our Mayberry will be like. And we are so blessed to be part of our community which is dedicated to this work and prayer. I’m imagining life to be even better than Mayberry because, as God leads us and unfolds it, we’ll be one flock under one shepherd!

    1. Crew Dog:

      Re:

      1. Pollsters. We don’t talk to them either. The polling profession has prostituted itself for so long over so many election cycles that they have lost all credibility whatsoever. Lot of reasons for it. Largely, it is the Paladin incentives in the profession: Have Gun Will Travel.

Want an outcome Mr Political Campaign? “If you’ve got the money we have what you want to hear and sell to the public”.

Sample bias. Push polls. How do you measure opinions of masses of people who refuse to be observed or worse give responses the observer expects to observe? Add in fear of being traced tracked and targeted by people determined to hurt you and what do you have? A mishmosh of misinformation designed to encourage friends and sew fear and anxiety among your enemies.

It ‘s the Heisenberg Principle to the max:

β€œUncertainty principle, also calledΒ Heisenberg uncertainty principleΒ orΒ indeterminacy principle, statement,Β articulatedΒ (1927) by the German physicistΒ Werner Heisenberg, that the position and theΒ velocityΒ of an object cannot both be measured exactly, at the same time, even in theory. The very concepts of exact position and exact velocity together, in fact, have no meaning in nature.

Any attempt to measure precisely the velocity of aΒ subatomic particle, such as anΒ electron, will knock it about in an unpredictable way, so that a simultaneous measurement of its position has no validity. This result has nothing to do with inadequacies in the measuring instruments, the technique, or the observer; it arises out of theΒ intimateΒ connection in nature between particles and waves in the realm of subatomic dimensions.”

Think of the average American ‘s momentary opinion ON ANYTHING as a single electron in a vast web of ever shifting opinions. Position and Velocity. What the heck do you think and how fast or often do you change your mind?

Heisenberg figured it out in 1927. Your measurement, Mr. Pollster – even if you wanted to be scientifically objective about it, which you don’t because nobody pays for that and the word would get out and pretty soon you would have the lowest revenue stream in the industry if any at all – has the unfortunate effect of β€œknocking about in an unpredictable way” the thing you are pretending to measure. Result: Science tells us that the result you trumpet to the world is — ahem, — UNCERTAIN. Cough, cough.

      But the check cashes.

Worst of the worst? Real Clear Politics Average of Polls. Think about it. You average out a melange of paid for polling results and what do you get? Well, you get UNCERTAINTY squared, cubed and Nth degreed. Swallow it if you want but don’t expect to be nourished by it.

      2. Vote Fraud. One thing that is as certain as the sun rising in the East is that the Real Clear Politics Average of Paid For Polls will narrow as election day approaches until the night before the election the editors of that blog declare the race β€œ TOO CLOSE TO CALL!”

Why? Because YOU CAN’T RIG A LANDSLIDE. Vote fraud cannot happen on a massive basis. Vote fraud happens in the hundreds and perhaps thousands if you are a little aggressive. Vote fraud happens in RACES TOO CLOSE TO CALL. Those are the races where unhappy people on the losing end will just shrug their shoulders and accept the (rigged) result. They have been prepared to accept an uncertain result whatever it is. What are you a lousy loser? You lost suck it up and get on with life. If people don’t believe it then you’ve got a problem as a vote fraudster. So, it’s got to be close to be plausible. Enter the pollsters the week before the election. They have work to do narrowing the gap to an uncertain conclusion on the eve of election. They are good at that.

Mail in Ballots. So, the idea is to be inclusive. To be fair. To ensure that everybody can vote. Just fill out the ballot and stick it the mail. BALLOTS ARE PUSHED OUT TO RESIDENTS REGARDLESS OF REGISTRATION STATUS. By who? Well, who has the mail addresses? Who are the only people who can make it happen? Your efficient United States Postal Service will make it happen both ways coming and going in brightly colored no postage necessary envelopes. We are all going to get a ballot in the mail. What could possibly go wrong?

Absentee Ballots. Absentee ballots are different than Mail In Ballots. Got to be registered. Got to apply months in advance. You got to APPLY for an absentee ballot. The advocates of Mail in Ballots deliberately conflate the two ideas. But they are not the same thing at all, at all.

The key to Mail in Ballot fraud is the word MAIL.

I will make a bold prediction: Many Absentee Ballots will somehow, someway go missing in the Post Office in some mysterious and untraceable way. Didn’t get your absentee ballot and missed your opportunity to vote? Huh, whaddaya know about that? (Shoulder shrug). A lot of those Absentee Ballots that somehow get lost are going to be voted by somebody somewhere perhaps in the supply room in the back of a PO regional operations center or maybe in the back of a USPS trailer truck.

Another bold prediction: Many, perhaps tens of thousands, of Mail In Ballots pushed to street addressed by the Post Office will get hijacked somewhere along the line and get processed by certain individuals who may or may not be postal employees. Perhaps just political employees. Volunteer ballot processors.

Just a little thumb on the electoral scale of a too close to call election.

Cynical stinkin’ thinkin’? If you build it they will come.

Storm, I imagine you’re very accurate in your assessment.

Regardless of the results of the election, I fear there Is an accounting coming as a consequences of our sins.

Trump can not save us, but is useful as a tool of God to give us hope to retain the freedoms that our country was Founded upon.

Reading β€œSearching for And maintaining Peace β€œ by Father Jacques Phillipe since daily oppression to lose hope is strong right now. I read articles out there
and there is little hope to see for the future of our country.

  18. Regarding COVID I would say briefly to treat this virus with humility and with respect but not with fear or cowardice. While the death rate may be low the number suffering some long term effects may be larger than is reported. And not everyone “Masking up” is in a high risk group but may have vulnerable relatives or friends. Michael Brown a few weeks back had an article about the way some who have too easily brashly treated this virus as “Nothing” came down with it as did some pastors and churches which failed to take precautions, had large outbreaks among their congregations. His article seemed to show that those who were too proud offen came down with it. And as Steve BC says take the good natural precautions but Trust God and be safe.

I wonder if all the BLM and Antifa rioting are meant to keep Duram from coming out with his findings about Obama, Biden, and the rest of the deep state in August since it has to be then or must wait until after the election. Pray that somehow moderate Democrats may learn and vote conservative; How many Dems know that Trump used to be a Democrat. Covid was planned so Biden could stay in hiding. I am telling all I can and calling in to talk shows. I recommend calling our congressmen and President Trump”s line to tell them we are all with President Trump.

… that will take a miracle about the size of the Illumination of Conscience / the Warning.
And right now, we should be praying for miracles of grace and conversion.

    2. Mary Anne I don’t think John Durham is in the report writing business. He is in the prosecuting business. You will either see Grand Jury indictments unsealed and arrests and witness subpeonas and preliminary criminal hearings …. or …. nothing at all. No prosecution. No statement. No nothing.

Your guess is as good as mine or anybody else’s. My guess: Durham will remain silent until after November and watch which way the political wind is blowing on Nov. 4. If Trump is re-elected he will proceed. If Biden is elected he will recede back into the woods. It’s a matter of self-preservation.

  21. Stevebc, my daughter would like your opinion on Covid prevention for pregnant women. She asked me to ask you. She is due in February.

    1. Joyful, I’m not trying to answer for SteveBC; but having read his book, I know that there’s a section on homeopathic prophylaxis for Covid. The homeopathic remedies mentioned therein may be used by pregnant women. I’m sure that SteveBC will have additional suggestions for you after he sees your comment. πŸ™‚

      1. Mick, I am sending Steve’s book to my daughter (she hasn’t read it, yet) but I was reading parts of it to her over the phone. At the time I was checking with amazon as a shopping list for myself and her but she thought she would like to hear it from him. She is so relieved to know that there is hope but she suffered a miscarriage in March and doesn’t want to have another.

    2. Joyful, as I say in my book, I am not a doctor. Keeping that in mind, I will suggest she consider a few things that should help without raising any risks.

      1) I do endorse Mick’s comments about homeopathy.

      2) Remember, the key to preventing Covid-19 or keeping a case mild/easy is Vitamin D3. No matter one’s condition or age, nobody with serum Vitamin D3 over 40 goes to the hospital as far as I know. It also appears to be true that large doses of Vitamin D3 are very supportive of pregnancy and help the baby develop. (Folate is also needed – *not* folic acid but folate – to prevent neural tube defects, and rich, vital, organic, nutritious meats and fish and other foods in the diet.)

Please read this article from WebMD, which is a very establishment site:

      https://www.webmd.com/baby/news/20100504/high-doses-of-vitamin-d-may-cut-pregnancy-risk#1

If she can get her serum D3 level over 40 and keep it there (check with frequent blood tests), everything should go better.

      3) Something that specifically helps prevent or keep mild *any* viral illness is a combination of Quercetin and zinc, which acts like HCQ and zinc but is non-toxic at low doses. For prevention she could consider taking 250mg of Quercetin once a day with 30mg zinc along with her daily 5,000 IUs of Vitamin D3. If she gets ill with a virus (any virus), I recommend she increase to 500mg Quercetin (1 250mg cap of Quercetin in the morning and another at night) plus 90mg zinc (1 30mg cap of zinc in the morning, another in the afternoon, and the third before bed).

Those three supplements should help, but again, these are suggestions, and she should find a pregnancy doctor who is open to this kind of thing. Also, she will probably face a lot of pressure to get lots of Covid-19 tests. She should resist this as strongly as she can. There are lots of false positives, and if she gets one of those, everything will get more complicated. If she does not have symptoms, she should say no to all tests offered. If she has symptoms, maybe. If her hospital requires a covid test or set of tests, she should consider home birth. Hospitals are spreaders of disease anyway.

Remember, though, that the biggest immediate risk to the baby and the mother is the egregiously high rate of cesarean sections. The background rate is 3-5%, but hospitals regularly have rates between 20 and 50%. I would urge her to find a doctor with midwives who will strive to avoid using Cesarean methods. If her doctor’s record is like the hospital rates I’ve noted here, I would strongly suggest she find a different doctor with more natural approaches and a low cesarean rate. It is my belief that when the future looks back at our time, one of the worst examples of medical malpractice will be the extreme overuse of cesarean sections for the convenience of the doctor and against the best interests of mother and child.

The longer term risks are the long lists of vaccines all babies and young ones are supposed to have. She should research all the vaccines her baby will be supposed to take and decide which are truly needed and which are not. Wait as long as possible to take any vaccine. Spread them out over time, never take more than one at a time (the mixes are the worst, I think). Detoxify the child with vaccine detox homeopathy programs after each vaccine she does decide her baby must have.

My final point, and I do emphasize this: I am not a doctor. It is *her* job, not mine and not her doctor’s, to help and protect her baby from risk and harm. Research *everything*. Make her own decisions.

      1. Bless you, Steve. She is already doing vaccine research for her soon to be one year old and also passing along info to a nurse who takes care of her at her OB. Thank you for saying all you said. Sometimes it sinks in better when someone else says it. πŸ™‚

    1. Europe, too, has had her share of attacks on Catholic people and citizens in the last few years, Linda. And. of course, our brothers and sisters in faith in the near-east have been persecuted severely. I think this is here to stay for a while. Praying we all remain calm as we continue acknowledging God and taking our next right steps. “So then, the law was introduced into God’s plan to bring the reality of human sinfulness out of hiding. And yet, wherever sin increased, there was more than enough of God’s grace to triumph all the more!” (Romans 5:20)

Can you recommend a book/author? I was listening to relavant radio while I was there & they were talking about Fulton Sheen! She got so excited and told me her mom used to watch him on tv religiously but they are not Catholic! How cool! Thanks B!!!πŸ€—β€οΈπŸ™πŸ˜˜πŸΏ

    2. Sorrowful Mother Shrine? I visited there years ago, when the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima was active in my area. Went with a friend, and we were like night and day. She hung around inside by the gift shop and cafeteria, I ate my lunch alone outside in nature for the peacefulness of it all, and as a birdwatcher was thrilled to see Red-Headed Woodpeckers flying among the trees.

      1. Isn’t it beautiful there? Did you have Fr Scott? They get many groups of busses 🚌 there all spring, summer and fall! I also like it there because they have confessions an hour b4 every Mass! Precious blood priests!!! Awesome Holy Place to be!!! Did you get to walk the stations of the cross in the woods the Phoenix? They have beautiful grottos all through and a big huge crucifix of our Lord.,, my boys Frankie and globetrotting Tom used to always climb up there and kiss πŸ’‹ Jesus’ beautiful precious 🦢 feet!!! They also used to love to climb around and inside the tomb of Bernadette!!!!

        1. Yes, it’s definitely beautiful at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine, Linda !!! πŸ™‚

My pilgrimage there was so long ago that I wouldn’t remember Father Scott. Anyways, you are so blessed to live close enough to visit easily!! Though the drive for me wouldn’t be bad, really.

Now keep in mind that this post is being written by someone using a statue of Mary as an avatar (and I took the photo of the statue) …

… But while yes, I was there to pray, and was Of Course grateful for the opportunity to attend Mass and receive the Sacraments!!! … While the statues, however nice, and walking the Stations of the Cross with my group was nice, and the grottoes kinda cool … I was there waaay more for birdwatching and being out in nature than I was to see statues. So I brought binoculars along with a Rosary. I had invited my friend to have a nice picnic lunch with me outside at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine, but she preferred to go inside with the group because “everybody else was going inside.” I was going through a hard time at the time, and just couldn’t see being inside where it was all stuffy when there was so much beauty to be enjoyed and appreciated outside … the weather was picture perfect, in early autumn. (Maybe I’m drawn to the Franciscan charism?)

Now the Lord has a way of coming through for me when people leave me to myself. You see, I’d been an avid birdwatcher since the age of 7, studied the Birds of North America: Golden Field Guide from cover to cover almost every day, always wanted to see a Red-Headed Woodpecker … and so the Lord arranged for a Red-Headed Woodpecker to fly down low onto a tree trunk right in my backyard for my 8th birthday! So during my solitary lunch at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine, I found myself surrounded by Red-Headed Woodpeckers flying around up in the trees, each one a sign of hope!

We have such a gracious, providential Father who offers statues, crucifixes, and grottoes to climb for those who appreciate climbing, and birds for those who appreciate seeing living freedom flying up to the sky with wings and songs! Frankie and Tom sound quite adventurous!! πŸ™‚

          1. Oh the Phoenix that is just the sweetest story of you & the Shrine!!! Thanks for sharing it!!! Next time I go there alone (we go ev sunday – approximately 25 min away) I’ll take some pics of the grounds and see if I can figure out how to share them with y’all!!!

If you were there last 6 years, you had Fr Scott! Last Sunday was his last Mass there and our bishop Daniel Thomas was there too!!!!

But sort of a cool story: Fr Scott reminded us of what happened 6 years ago when the precious blood 🩸 order sent him there….there was this HUGE tornado and it knocked down a whole lot of trees in the woods there…you know what I’m talking about since you’ve seen them first hand…well what really amazed Fr Scott was that even though the Forrest was A mess with fallen trees, during the clean up, it was discovered that NOT ONE statue, cross or grotto was hit in the least!!! He thought it quite miraculous that God directed the trees not to touch anything sacred! He said, β€œSurely, this is a place of miracles!”

What’s more fun to do there than to eat at the cafeteria is to bring a picnic lunch outdoors! They have many picnic tables! We used to bring our kids there when young and our parents there when they got old!

            Ave Maria!!! Stella Maris!!!

Hope your times are better for you now Phoenix and May the red headed woodpeckers be always with you to remind you of Gods love for you!!!

My sister gets surrounded by dragon flies!!! They have an interesting history too related to the Holy Family!

            1. Hi Linda,

Would love to see your pictures of the Shrine!

My visit there was long before Father Scott appeared on the scene, but he definitely had some help in making a classy grand entrance with the statues, crosses, and grottoes being spared in the storm on his arrival!

So your sister loves dragonflies … very cool! It sounds like she has a special reason or personally meaningful story behind it for sure … and thanks for sharing the related artwork. It’s fascinating to think how the artist may have been inspired to include a dragonfly together with the Holy Family!

Yeah my sis gets stalked by dragonflies!!! Hahahahaha!!! Sometimes she said even when she gets in her vehicle πŸš— they stay with her! My sister is a total caregiver!!! Her hubby her grandkids!!! She just slaves over her loved ones…not always happily… hahahahaha they are a demanding bunch…but she does it anyway saying, β€œno one can do for money πŸ’° what a gramma does for ❀️ love!!! She’ll probably die serving her fellows!!! Saint Cindy!!!

Not long ago, she and her hubby Bill (who is 12 years older and quite ill currently…he’s had 3 knee surgeries now on same knee and it keeps getting reinfected…) we’re driving to New York to take care of ANOTHER grandchild for a week because a new one Liam was being born) and I was praying for her so hard because she had to do a lot of the driving!

Mike n I had a pool day that day with our daughter and her boyfriend and it was sooooo wierd…but many dragonflies surrounded us all day long!!! I prayed for her unceasingly!! I took the dragonflies as a sure sign of hope for her!

  23. JESUS = GOOD NEWS! πŸ˜‰

    A Good-One for These-Days:
HeartLight Daily Verse – 28 Jul

    Philippians 3:14
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

    Thoughts on today’s verse:
The way to walk a tightrope is to keep one’s sight on the goal, not on the ground or what is behind. The way to walk with Jesus is to keep our eyes on the goal, his victory waiting for us when he returns, not on the ground (our failures) and not what is behind (our accomplishments). The goal of the Christian walk is to keep walking toward Jesus until we walk with him in heaven.
    Prayer:
Lord, I look forward to the day when you call me by name and walk hand in hand with me. Until that day, help me fix my eyes on what you want me to be and not what I’ve done. By your grace I ask it. Amen. Visit heartlight.org for more

GOD SAVE THE REPUBLIC & ALL HERE!

    1. CrewDog, the account from the DHS agent in Portland is sobering. On one hand, it’s great that the officers stationed inside the building share goodhearted camaraderie among themselves and remarkable restraint when they’re on the job outside. On the other hand, the behavior of the people they’re defending against is evil. As AG Barr said today in his not-allowed-to-talk hearing, “Is this okay?”

          1. Sr. Bear and Beckita, I think that CrewDog’s now famous prayer, “God Save the Republic and all here” should find its way into our CORAC stuff (maybe on the back cover of our pamphlets, or as a footer on our letterhead, or maybe even on a patch that MP might design for our flight jackets).

  24. This is the full opening statement of Jim Jordan to William Barr:

in my mind it brings up several questions for us to consider and to ask others to think on too. The most important is “What is the difference between politics and morality? and When is it a moral issue vs. a political issue?” In his opening statement Jordan makes the point that spying is wrong and violence in our cities is wrong. These are not political issues these are moral issues. And since so many are confusijng politics with morality and will not enforce basic moral standards our nation is in deep trouble indeed!
