Niceville, Florida – I’m sorry I have been slow at posting of late. I have buried myself wrestling with some serious materials we must have going forward this year – and have been wrestling with a bug I have had since Advent. I will try to do better, Meantime, here are some things that have been on my mind…
I have been both pundit and consultant on some big races. The consultant class is largely an abominable grift. In 2008 I was a permanent panelist on a Sunday night WLS political talk show (the big talk station in Chicago). After Sarah Palin was announced as Veep nominee, host Tom Roeser turned to me, noting that I had handled a lot of candidates, and asked what my advice to her was. “Ignore the handlers,” I exclaimed. I went on to explain that most handlers have some idealized image of what a candidate should be and try to mold every candidate to that image – which is malpractice. The proper job of a competent consultant is to assess a candidate’s strengths and weaknesses, help them build competence in their weak points – and then put the candidate in situations designed to highlight their strengths. I said Palin’s handlers would likely try to make her a MacCain mini-me and, if she resisted, find ways to blame her for both their stupidity and their ultimate loss.
Having said that, I am extremely annoyed at all the pundits who have NEVER cobbled together a winning coalition at anything who busy themselves explaining what Ron DeSantis should have done to win this thing – and excoriating his consultants. I supported DeSantis. But when the Dems began their shrieking lawfare against Trump I knew DeSantis had become a very long shot. People rally around one of ours who is viciously attacked, especially when the attack endangers the whole foundation of the rule of law. DeSantis’ consultants may or may not have been on target – but there is not a thing that DeSantis could have done that would have changed the outcome once the serious lawfare began against Trump. Sometimes, in a campaign, the wind is at your back. At others, it is in your face. It is an ugly fool’s game to try to find scapegoats when the reality is that, after launching in calm waters, you suddenly had a gale blowing in your face.
As I said, I have been both a pundit and a consultant. As I once told a news colleague who was moaning about how media jobs were tougher than political jobs, politics is harder – a LOT harder. In either profession there are some lousy practitioners, but politics is a LOT harder than opining from the rafters. You don’t just get to say what should be done; you decide it – and if you have any honor, you take the credit for both your failures and successes. (Yeah, I know, we have a critical shortage of people of honor in both politics and punditry these days.)

All of a sudden Electric Vehicles (EVs) are tanking everywhere. Hertz is largely divesting its supply of EVs among its rental cars. Ford is cutting the expected supply of EV trucks by 50 percent – because the expected demand was never there. Democrat policies always tout big expectations, both from the Dems and from the lapdog media, that never pan out. Shoot, even their citation of reality rarely pans out. The new jobs numbers put out every month for a very long time have been quietly adjusted down by a large margin (around 40%) a month or two after the announcement. It is like the modern Dems can’t do anything well but lie – and they are getting worse at that each month. But I digress…
It was always insane to believe that going to a nearly all-electric vehicle force was realistic given they do not have nearly the range of gas vehicles, take hours to “fuel up,” lose power quickly when it is very cold or when towing anything, and are dependent on an electric grid that has (in the most optimistic estimates) 10% excess capacity. Meanwhile, the same Dems pushing EVs will approve no new power plants. Now, even the claims of environmental friendliness are collapsing for EVs. They run on electric power and require a lot of it. They are dependent on rare earth minerals, mostly mined by slaves in Africa and China. Many of those slaves are children. The batteries are environmental hazards that can’t be recycled – and break down with alarming regularity while costing about the same as an ordinary new car, themselves, to replace.
Last summer I predicted that the EV market would collapse within a year. There was not a lick of prophecy in that. Anyone who understood the basic data inherent in our grid and in vehicle efficiencies could easily see that coming. Consumers have now largely figured out what a boondoggle EVs are. As they would say in Texas, this was all hat and no cattle. I don’t blame those consumers for figuring out the grift late. It is the government, the scientific community, and the media’s job to give them straight facts and evidence rather than ideologically-driven drivel.
EVs are a dead man walking. And as they go they strike yet another blow at the credibility of government, the scientific community, and the media. Turns out if you lie constantly or pretend to know that which you do not, the piper always comes to collect his due.
On the bright side, if you own an EV and only use it for a local commute and errands, you’re just fine. It’s more expensive than it should be and damaging to the environment but you probably won’t get stuck, so long as you charge it each night. Heaven help you if it ever needs a significant repair, though. It would be cheaper (and likely more environmentally sensitive) to buy an old beater to get around then a new battery.

Now it is confirmed that there could have been a peace deal very early in the Ukraine-Russia war – confirmed by Ukrainian officials. It was the US that put the kibosh on it, for heaven knows what reasons. (Well, I actually have a pretty good idea – Ukraine has become the “bank” to protect – and often generate – the corrupt slush funds of US politicians – primarily from the left – and has an oddly large number of US-sponsored biolabs).
Some of my Ukrainian friends got irritated that I opposed US involvement from the start. They had difficulty understanding it was not from animus, but concern, for Ukraine. It was for the same reason I would oppose a full contact football game between a Junior High School team and the Kansas City Chiefs: the only outcome could be that many kids from the junior high school team were going to get hurt. Ukraine has neither the men nor the materiel to go the distance with Russia.
That America and the west flooded Ukraine with weapons and money gave the illusion that it could be a contender, but it was an illusion that got more Ukrainians killed. The death toll in Ukraine nears a half million. Western media dutifully played their part in propping up the illusion by touting every Ukrainian success as a “breakthrough” and ignoring Russia’s steady advance. Often, the media even told the lie with actual facts – though completely out of proportion. To understand how this is done, imagine the media showing 10 clips of at-bats by Manny Trillo alongside 10 clips of Babe Ruth. All the clips from Trillo show him hitting home runs (he had 61 lifetime) and all the clips of Ruth show him striking out. This would give the illusion that the light-hitting Trillo was a great slugger and the genuinely great slugger Ruth was a flub. The media has many ways to lie, beyond the straightforward approach they usually use.
Then there was the lionization of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as the new Churchill and Russian President Vladimir Putin as a great demonic figure. The truth is that both Zelensky and Putin are often brutal authoritarians. The difference is that Putin is competent and Zelensky is not.
Putin as the great satan was started by the left in 2015 for domestic political purposes. Actually, the only Russian leaders who have been more moderate than Putin in the last 150 years are Mikhail Gorbachev, Georgy Malenkov, Czar Nicholas, and (arguably) Nikita Khruschev. What is notable about the latter four is that they were all forcibly ousted from power. If you are going to demonize the most moderate leader Russia has had who actually survived power, you are not demonizing the man, you are demonizing the system and culture of Russia. A perfectly reasonable argument can be made for demonizing the system, but when you demonize the most moderate leader to survive power there you make yourself impotent in modifying that culture or system. But you do NOT make yourself irrelevant. When a relative moderate is repudiated by the west, he is forced to turn elsewhere to ensure his survival. Russia is NOT a natural ally of either China or Iran. But our feckless parody of diplomacy has made it an ally of both (No matter how contemptuous you think I am of the American foreign policy establishment, I am more contemptuous of it than that).
The bottom line is that Russia and Ukraine will negotiate a peaceful settlement this year or all of Ukraine will, tragically, be subsumed into Russia as an administrative district for a time.

Just last week I was discussing whether or not Amy Coney Barrett has been a disappointment to conservatives on the Supreme Court. My friend thought Barrett a sellout while I argued the jury is still out. Well, the jury is in. Last Friday, Barrett joined pusillanimous Chief Justice John Roberts and the Democrats on the court to rule that Texas may NOT protect itself from invasion by enforcing border laws that the Biden administration refuses to enforce. Texas had earlier defied federal orders to stand down from stopping the invasion – even going so far as to refuse to let federal authorities into some areas of the border.
This order will not stop the border crisis. All it will accomplish is to further erode confidence in the courts, the branch of government that already holds the last tattered vestiges of legitimacy in the broken American system. When the courts rule that you may not defend yourself by enforcing laws that the federal government will not enforce, the death rattle of the republic is almost finished.
The marvelous Kurt Schlichter of Townhall says that, “Our elites think that the only power that exists is the kind they wield from the heights of the institutions, but that’s not so.” In fact, as the elites continually refuse to enforce existing laws that protect ordinary Americans and calling any who complain of it “domestic terrorists,” the more likely they make it that more states are going to defy federal authority and perhaps, ultimately, break from it entirely. Governments are formed to protect the good of the citizens who constitute it. Once a government ceases to do that – and even gets hostile to the very idea – it becomes irrelevant. What power it wields is the product of temporal inertia. It will be cast off soon enough, hopefully by the largely peaceful means of the assertion of state sovereignty. And if the US decides to make war on its own citizens, Joe Biden is a special kind of fool if he really believes that most F-15 pilots will eagerly target their friends and neighbors back home because he says so.
John Roberts is forever fretting about the reputation of the courts. He does so by invariably ruling however the Deep State Uniparty wants him to, regardless of actual law. This time, Amy Coney Barrett joined him and the Democrats. And echoes of Fort Sumter sound throughout the republic.

The panjandrums of the science and medical communities of the left who brought us the Covid debacle, botching it with condescending forcefulness the whole way are now warning of “Virus X.” They sound like a late-night infomercial, promising that this virus will be at least 20 times more deadly than the last superflu they concocted to terminate self-government. Our only hope will be the new mRNA “vaccine” they create which this time, they promise, really will be ‘safe and effective.’ To further motivate us, they note that the death rate among humanized mice subjects was 100 percent. Wow! That is as bad as the death rate was in the animal studies where subjects were injected with their precious mRNA “vaccines” to begin with.
The fact is that China has, indeed, been experimenting with a particularly deadly virus. Thus far, it has been able to make it extremely deadly but has been having trouble making it very communicable. You pretty much have to be directly injected with the virus. If they ever solve the communicability problem, we could be looking at the modern equivalent of the black plague. But I suspect there is another reason why there is such an urgency to the alarms about “Virus X.”
In the 15 years of animal studies with mRNA “vaccine” shots before Covid hit in 2000, almost all animals in the studies died within three years. While the shots did offer some protection against specific viruses, it came at the cost of progressively eroding the immune systems of the affected animals until they could fight nothing off. There was a progression to this. Some animals died very early, but most lasted a while, doing progressively more poorly. At the year and a half mark, the death rate started accelerating dramatically until, in the last six months it was just a constant die-off. Humans are about 10 times larger animals (or more) than most of the animals used in these studies. That meant there was a good possibility that the progression would be slower in humans than in the animals. I posited some time back that the progression in humans would likely be a six-year cycle. I think I was optimistic about that, as the last year showed a marked progression, one that the media and the scientific establishment has been at great pains to suppress news of. If that is the case, this year will produce an acceleration that will blow the lid off of the damage that has been done by the Covid mRNA shots. Since they can’t stop the excess deaths that will accelerate dramatically this year, the scientific establishment is positing a new virus they can blame those deaths on. Instead of being villains for what they unleashed on the world with the Covid shots, they hope to be heroes by offering new shots as the antidote to a new virus. Talk about a literal death spiral!
While I am not buying what they are selling, I do think that fears of excess deaths and misunderstandings of their cause will add significantly to the rising panic this year. Go to the bottom of the page and, under the search function, type in covid. But perhaps the most important of the protocols is the Brazen Serpent Prayer. God does not intend our destruction. He intends our reclamation, but we must call on Him and get back into right relationship with Him, understanding that all healing, natural and supernatural, comes from Him. Please, use it in conjunction with the temporal protocols we have compiled.

I know many people worry about how we will all manage if communication goes down. Of course, we have the communications network up and running coast to coast with ham radio – and are pushing some significant refinements there. Bottom line, though, I have never been told how general communication with the faithful will continue in severe crisis. Rather, I have been told that God will carve out a way – and that it is sufficient for me to know that. I trust…and so I keep plodding along, dependent on the talent and generosity of so many of you. Together, we will weather this storm and be the heralds of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

I have been reading a Substack of someone who often comments on the Covid debacle. In one of his recent articles, he said that as far as he could tell, from his own experience and those of others, that approximately 50% of the people in the US (adults, at least) have been vaxxxed enough to disturb their physical and energetic presence. That would be around 175 million people. Without prayers, cold equations will govern the results.
Charlie, being on the road is hard enough without dragging along, so I hope you get to feeling better, and the Fun Meter starts rising for you. 🙂

This is huge. I just read this statement from the governor of Texas. However, it is most certain that Biden is not enforcing the law. He is fully ignoring it and Texans are being inundated with massive problems which they did not agree to shoulder. Now that NYC and other cities are really “feeling” some of the border inundation, the people of those blue cities may be rethinking their political stance. It is great when someone else is shouldering the burden, but when it arrives in your own backyard, reality strikes you in the face and your ever shrinking wallet.

Sadly, the more I look into this situation, the more holes I see in what the Guard is actually doing (ie, being ordered to do). It looks like a lot of hat but little cattle. Abbott has defined the issue, and that could be helpful *if* SCOTUS backs him. However, the on-the-ground actuality leaves much to be desired.
Perhaps he is setting up a test case. But I have never trusted his “cred” on this stuff (among other things), so I’m drawing back to a more limited kind of support. If this gets citizens up in arms, things could go sideways fast. If he’s doing the minimum on the border needed to highlight the case and get Paxton going to the SCOTUS on the Biden Admin’s unconstitutional/treasonous failure to protect US citizens, well, that may help clarify the legal situation, but in the meantime it won’t actually start closing the border in any significant way.
I think Ken Paxton is solid, and he may have done some maneuvering to get this letter issued, but is Abbott actually going to follow through and keep pushing and keep delineating the issue and *actually* start seriously closing the TX border in actual defiance? Maybe, but it’s looking like probably not. We will see.

I should have put my first comment ( which landed below) as a reply to your initial news of Governor Abbott’s official written statement. Now it seems out of place. I trust your instincts and am saddened that not much substance may come from the Governor’s letter. I pray that somehow, someway, ordinary men will stand up and take back our country. And

For what it is worth, Kris, I have more than a few friends who are very highly placed in Texas politics. I spoke to one tonight (who is not a big Abbott fan) and asked for the skinny. After making some inquiries and double-checking several things, my friend and I will speak early next week and I’ll have a little clearer picture of what is going on.
Things are often not what they seem in Texas politics. The people of the state are MUCH more conservative than their legislators. (Many libs there run as Republicans to enhance their chances). Some of the more conservative leaders have a certain lack of judgment. If I were 35 and the Storm were not breaking all around us, I would move to Texas and get very active.

That would be great, Charlie. I am pleasantly surprised to see so many governors backing TX so quickly, and Trump has apparently gone in on this process as well. What I hear, though, is that the TX soldiers are in a small area, they do take illegal aliens into custody, but then shortly thereafter, the soldiers turn them over to the Fed border patrol, which of course then releases them into the US. That makes this all sound like a show and not the real thing. However, the involvement of the governors gives me some hope that whatever actually *is* happening on the ground will soon start becoming “more cattle and less hat.”
However, Charlie, it would be interesting to know if in fact what is most needed now is the “hat” approach. That is a possibility if the intent overall is to force the legal side of things rather than actually take over the border (a very hard thing for any agency, Fed or State, to do at this point). So perhaps the hat is all that’s needed now, and we don’t need any cattle wrastling to head for a truly good resolution.

That, Steve, is a very insightful comment. In critical confrontations, acts that start as largely symbolic, are often the precursor to serious action. The states have become accustomed to deferring to federal authority. Is this the act of defiance that will put an end to federal bureaucratic authoritarianism? On that, I think your initial comment was correct. But the states are practicing courage and defiance. That will have huge consequences as the year goes forward.
The reality is that big movements rarely have an on-off switch. They work from a dimmer switch being adjusted up. The problem is discerning when they are just twisting dials impotently for show and when they are actually turning up the light – and the heat. This, I think, is probably a pre-game warm-up.

I may be getting a handle on what’s happening. Here’s an interesting thread on Twitter:
I think that the initial moves were made by the Biden Admin, to work with Obrador in Mexico to throttle the rate of crossings throughout 2024 and in effect, collect 2024 migrants in southern Mexico for the next several months. The purpose is obvious – give Biden a “narrative” that he is doing all he can to shut down illegal aliens coming into the US and at the same time to defang Trump who would otherwise point to the problem as a way to persuade Biden supporters to shift their vote to him. I think this is why Abbott is willing to move as he now is on Eagle Pass. All of these folks are taking advantage of the closure efforts of the Mexican government which is already dropping the rate of migration, so that their border personnel are not actually at risk or actually have to do something.
So far, that side of the matter is most of what we see. It is only temporary, lasting until after the November election, at which point the migrants at the camps in southern Mexico, numbering over a million probably by then would be released en masse in a huge rush to our border to start whatever festivities are planned by that side.
The opposing moves are being made by Trump and the governors of red states, and I think Ken Paxton is leaning their way (which may be part of why “they” targeted Paxton last year to try to remove him). This second group of folks are taking the opportunity created by the Biden Admin and Mexican government (which is reducing rates quite a bit already) to send various types of personnel to the border in various areas to shore up the border, without the much higher risk of confrontation with large numbers of migrants if the influx were to be at previous rates. I think they hope to make the border strengthening moves permanent by the November election.
Complicating matters is that I think we should all assume that both sides have members of the opposing side who have embedded themselves within that side and who are going to try to create incidents to discredit the group in which they are embedded. There is much room for mischief or even for a major event that could shock a lot of people. And now that so many are already inside the US from other countries, bringing possibly some serious weaponry, we are watching the stage being set for action in this turbulent and risk-filled election year.
Bonus factoid: Abbott left the country immediately after issuing his Letter, kind of reminding me of the scene in the movie “Arsenic and Old Lace” where at the end of the movie Cary Grant’s character sits safely on the stairs saying, “OK, go ahead, fight, fight, I’m just going to sit off to the side here…” while all the other actors and actresses fight it out in the living room in a giant melee. I think Abbott has no real way through this, because no matter what he does, he will be either hero or villain to one side or the other and thus both to everyone, no matter what happens. Might as well be out of town for a while, yes?

Michael Barry, local talk show host, said this morning that biden’s war on gas was his way of “sending in the troops” to Texas. Texas runs on oil and gas. Big guns.
Truck convoy was great PR, but how long can these guys NOT be at work? Maybe Our Lady of Prompt Succor can do it again. Sure hope so.

I have a story to share to your comment with squirrel, talking about Jesus! Our niece in the mid 80’s got on an airplane with then her 6 year old son. On the way to here, boarding the plane got their seats and buckled up. Her son turns to the gentleman next to him, he says to him, as a good Baptist with great Love, asks him, Are you ready to meet Jesus!!! I just imagined if the boy knew something he was not privy too!

Thank you, Beckita! I am feeling better each day. I rarely can think about how everything happened last week and not burst into a flood of tears of gratitude!!!! Praise Him!! Everyone, please know how much I appreciate all your prayers!
I pray the Brazen Serpent Prayer each morning. I pray it for my husband, oldest son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and oldest daughter, especially. Before the shots came out, I prayed the Immaculate Conception Novena asking the Blessed Mother that by her purity that God purify whatever was in those shots that would be going into my family – most especially, my husband. Thanks be to God, they are all here. I will say, but will not elaborate, that I do believe there were some side effects that affected my husband. These side effects have subsided over the years. “Coincidentally”, some of the supplements that the FLCCC suggested for vaxxx injury, my husband’s doctor put him on for other health reasons soon after I noticed these side effects. Needless to say, I thanked God for this “coincidence” and continue to this day to pray.
We in East TN had extreme cold like everyone else last week, 8+ inches of snow and ice. Sadly, many complained about roads not being plowed, mail not being delivered, etc. It frustrated hubby and I as we were grateful for whatever could be done. We don’t get this kind of weather often at all, so what could be done was great. I loved looking at local businesses on Facebook posting pictures of lawnmowers with small plow attachments plowing parking lots of small businesses. A local coffee shop couldn’t get certain types of milk, so patrons would run to the local stores, if they could, to deliver milk. A local charity store which has a small food bank started asking those with AWD and 4WD to deliver food to those in need. Such a sign of hope!!
Linda, I hadn’t responded to your post weeks back. You are right about it being all about souls. Souls that our Lord will be winning back with all our help. Sadly, I allow myself to get distracted by earthly worries like selling a home. Trying to stay calm and make each day fruitful.

It’s a wierd thing beckytn73 but I keep praying for chuck schumer😂😂😂. Sometimes I wonder if God puts it into our teeny little minds the right to pray for certain ones😂😂😂. I guess it’s all a mystery but I’m absolutely sure that nothing matters except souls getting to heaven🥰. I’ve recently just found a lump in my neck so it really puts things in perspective even better😂😂😂. I have a tough couple weeks of babysitting and if it’s still there I’ll make an appointment with my dear dr. Mike thinks it’ll be fine but I sort of like it because it really helps me to pray more and to be more patient and to think of souls !!! My son Tommy told me I’m thinking it’s a bad thing, “just because i want to go to see Jesus!” 😂😂😂. He knows me so well that kid!!! So glad you’re feeling better Becky!!! Hey!
What exactly is meant by a “6 year cycle of progression” in regards to damage from mRNA shots?
(I also remember it being mentioned by Charlie, between 1-2 years ago, that he expected deaths from the mRNA shots to start becoming obvious and picking up by 3 years out from 2021. So I don’t know how that fits into the speculation about a 6-year cycle?)
Anyways, it would seem hard to pin any upcoming excess deaths on the vaccine without some solid studies comparing the excess deaths in the population of people that have received the mRNA shot to those who didn’t.

I thought I explained it pretty clearly in the article above. And in a six-year cycle spiraling down where the halfway point is where it accelerates beyond any ability to deny anymore, that is after the third year (or late in it). What is three years out from 2021? 2024, of course. I’m not being coy. I just don’t see what is difficult to understand here or how I could have been or be any more clear.
And are you not aware that those studies comparing excess deaths of people who had the shots and people who didn’t have been going pretty hard for over a year and a half – which is why insurance companies have been panicking over the results. I know the establishment media works hard to suppress it, but those numbers are out there fairly easily for anyone who does serious research. And even if you can’t do serious research, very basic research reveals that there are several places where excess deaths have remained stable – the largest province of India, for example, and many countries in southern Africa. What do these countries have in common? They largely avoided the shots and counted on Ivermectin (in India) and Hydroxychloroquine in Africa.
You are often a thoughtful contrarian, Philip, and I respect that. But this comment just struggles with obvious terms. Frankly, it brings to mind Bill Clinton saying it all depends on what the meaning of “is” is.

I certainly don’t mind being implicitly called “slow” or “stupid”; it certainly can help to keep one humble!
A few thoughts:
𝟭) 𝗜𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗥𝗡𝗔 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘀: I am wary of creating straw-men in regards to another’s ideas. So I tend to ask clarifying questions if I have any question of whether I am understanding it correctly. Rather than coming to a false understanding of what the person is conveying.
(It is also certainly possible that you weren’t as clear as you thought you were being, as I’ve experienced that plenty of times in the past.)
𝟮) 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗥𝗡𝗔 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘀: I think what was unclear was the specifics of what was meant by the word “cycle.” A cycle seems to indicate a path that will be traveled over and over again, and it wasn’t quite clear what is cyclical in the nature of the damage from the shots being referenced? So I asked 🙂
When you did say within about 3 years you expected it to become obvious of the damage from the mRNA shots as people would begin “falling like flies” (my interpretation of what you had said, which may be incorrect).
I look around and say, I mean, I’m not experiencing that in our area of the world, but maybe. And it would take some good study to tease out exact causes for something like this. And it sure doesn’t seem large or obvious.

Can you/someone point me toward the best studies on this so that I could read them?
(I certainly will say, my default position on most things is not to say “the truth is being hidden from me.” It may be being hidden from me, but I seek good evidence that it is being hidden from me.)

I’ve stated before that your insights on faith, morals, and spirituality are incredible and have been such a boon on my journey of loving God and neighbor ever more deeply these past 8 years!
I do think that 2 recurring beliefs where I wouldn’t be surprised if you ended up being at least partially wrong were in regards to the mRNA shots being horribly damaging to a large amount of people, and in regard to Joe Biden being elected due to outright election and voting fraud. Now again, when good evidence is presented, I’m always open to changing my view on this.
The reason I haven’t commented more than a couple times in regards to these over the past few years is because neither of these issues is a large deal for someone to be wrong about. I have been surprised that it appears to continue to be such a large issue on your mind, rather than simply moving on from them.

Ah, Philip, I was not implying that you were slow or stupid – because I know you are not. I was, however, implying you were being disingenuous, hence the Clinton quote. The mRNA shots remain a HUGE issue to me because of the increase in excess deaths in heavily vaxxed areas already reaching near 40 percent (that is forty percent beyond what is expected from historical rates, not 40 percent dying). I knew quite well it would be easy for people to maintain a cover of denial because the excess, in the early stages, comes from all causes. It is a result of a deteriorating immune system and objective damage to the heart – so it is not immediately obvious what is happening. I believe that this year it will become impossible to pretend any longer that this has not seriously deranged health outcomes because of a big jump in acceleration. That is why, I think, the medical establishment, the left, and gov’t officials are positing this “Virus X.” They admit they don’t even know of such a thing, but are just positing the possibility of it. That, I believe, is to provide cover for the dramatic increase in mysterious deaths. The larger issue is the serial prevarications and efforts to suppress evidence by the medical establishment – a big prong in my decades’-standing conviction that confidence in ALL institutions would collapse. That is a key sign of the times.
As for the fraudulent elections the refusal to seriously investigate claims has badly debilitated us as a nation. Yes, the evidence has been coming out in dribs and drabs, then serious spurts. But the refusal to take that issue seriously makes us no longer a self-governing people. All my life I have been one to see leading indicators, which is a big part of why I see the far horizon before most folks know there even is a far horizon. Actions have consequences. Whether or not the last election was called the way it actually happened, the refusal to seriously examine it forensically means we have already lost the narrative and empowered those who want to make the state supreme. That is a foundational issue.
All my life I have been assailed by many who would ridicule my big projections as absurd – because of their near unshakeable normalcy bias. But well over 90 percent of the time, within a few years, I have turned out to have been right. It has added credibility with some, but some others just keep sitting up in the box heckling, ignoring that their normalcy bias has been consistently wrong when compared to my logic. Just a few years ago, while riding with a very close friend who has known me for 30 years, he told me assertively how I was completely wrong on a matter this time. I just looked at him and asked which of us would be richer if we had bet each time he thought I was barking up the wrong tree. He got very quiet, and then he conceded that I would be substantially richer. Since then, he has agreed that, once again, I called it.
I don’t quibble over trivial or ancillary matters – only those things that have foundational consequences, whether others see the potential of those consequences or not. You have, indeed, been a very thoughtful contrarian. And frankly, that is helpful. But in this case, I thought you were more hoping for the best rather than offering a serious critique.

It might surprise you, but I am not being disingenuous at all when it comes to the topic of the mRNA shot. As we talked back in 2021, I struggled for some time because I didn’t have confidence in the evidence at that point.
I am at a similar spot now where I don’t have confidence in evidence that it is this horrid disaster that is, or will be, a primary cause of physical death and destruction.

At this point, what I would love to see a few good studies comparing excess death in those that recieved the mRNA shot and those that didn’t. And the same comparison for serious complications, as it could cause serious health concerns short of death.
The challenge is that it is so easy to deceive ourselves and convince ourselves of something that isn’t true, especially with things that have so many confounding variables. Again, none of what you propose is impossible, it just seems that I haven’t yet seem the evidence that would give me confidence to stake my flag in the ground.

I would definitely agree in the general direction of which you point, e.g., the general rot that exists, both in institutions and in the human heart. I think that is undeniable and will absolutely lead to a strengthening storm you’ve been talking about for many years. As, I think, you’ve stated before, nothing extraordinary needed to know that rot will lead to collapse! It is simple a matter of when. But it is not a matter of knowing how or when, but knowing what to do no matter what happens (I’ve shared that insight with many over the years 🙂 )
I think it could very well be the case that you have a gift of intuition that I do not have. Which is why I have learned that I need to rely upon solid evidence so I do not deceive myself. Which again, is so easy to do.
I, too, was disappointed that there wasn’t more done in transparency to show the American people that the results of the election were not due to widespread election fraud. (Now, I have heard individual claims were in fact looked into which led to the dismissing of legal cases because it was realized that the evidence just wasn’t there.)

Ah! Charlie, I thought of a good example that might help to show how I reason through things.
For many years I’ve heard the chant about global warming (and now “climate change”) being primarily due to human causes. And I would think to myself, that is certainly possible but what is the hard evidence? And then I’d get crickets!
It was like people were expected one to believe that truth claim with a bunch of hand-waving. And I couldn’t figure out why someone wouldn’t collate the evidence for how we have good reason to believe that not only is the climate warming, but human causation is a primary cause.
But it was only recently when the reasons to believe that a decent amount of the warming was due to human activity were able to be convincingly presented. Partially, because climate science is *incredibly* complex.
So my view has now shifted that there is decent reason to believe that human activity is a large driver of current climate change (certainly not the only cause). But I also certainly don’t hold the belief that the sky is falling and the world is ending due to climate change.
Will there be challenges? Of course. Will the Lord abandon us if we call upon Him? Never.

I find it extremely surprising to see the large number of deaths among young athletes. I do not recall ever seeing this before. And, no, I have not done the research to see if they got the vax and then the follow up jabs. But it is certainly odd and unusual enough to make one wonder why this has been happening.

I remember when these reports about embalmers noticing these clots first came out, but then I didn’t see any follow-up studies on it.
Are you aware of good studies done in regards to this that compared clots in those that received that mRNA shot and those that didn’t?
I personally believe that some of these medical conditions could vary well have had a connection in certain people to receiving the mRNA shot. That seems plausible.
But for us to make the jump from isolated incidents to that this is a widespread issue connected to the mRNA shots is a very different claim.
(And not that we shouldn’t worry about the isolated incidents and try to figure them out as best we can. Because then we can inform people who are thinking about getting the shot about their individual risks. For example, with young men and myocarditis which is pretty well documented. That was good information for someone considering the mRNA shot.)

It’s a bit of a mystery why so little about these injuries are known by the public.
Make one feel foolish to even think that injuries don’t exist or there are not any studies” “proving” them.

Phillip, I’m really surprised that you say it’s a mystery that so little is known about the injuries! I have read tons of info the whole time of the plandemic! You have to know where to look and understand of course, that those who tell the truth are cancelled and hidden from view. One of the first who exposed a great deal was brilliant Dr. Judy Mikovits. She explains all the science that is so far above most of us grasping, but you get the idea. Then Health Freedom Summit does fantastic work itself, and also publicizes other sources and doctors. It’s all out there, and even our own Steve has given so much info. Seek and ye shall find! God keep us all safe, body and soul!

I was mostly referring to the public on average. I know few people who have seriously looked into this. Philip is a good example about a curious mind not finding any information about this. As you said– it’s out there and my above post just proved it’s out there in spades!
If you read the list of the above injuries, there are many other prognosis on the books as to why they may occur so most people who get sick from the above list of illnesses will be diagnosed with reasons other than vaccine injury. These studies prove the vaccine is now another addition to causation of these diseases and should be included in diagnosing patients.
The “mystery” is that many MD’s in the medical community don’t know much about these newer studies and the powers-that-be are not open to seriously looking at them either, actually, they mostly deny them any credibility at all and push diagnosis towards the other causations. So the “mystery” is actually an intentional obfuscation.

I have read about the vax from Dr Judy Mikovits, RFK and others. It is all about the money. Greed and money. Total disregard for human life and long term suffering. Lack of conscience and corruption of people (long term appointees) running government agencies who have tremendous power and huge budgets and who are also in bed with the pharmaceutical industry. Fauci comes first to mind, of course. The Don was deceived, but at least he did not force it upon anyone.

Yeah, I think that F-16 comment is absurd as well, though I’m certain he’s simply parroting some other delusional bully. I doubt he’s capable of coming up with an original thought on his own. He would do well to consider that a bunch of F-15E’s, F-16’s, A-10’s, B-1’s, B-52’s, etc… to say nothing of the $7B+ in other hardware he abandoned over there was insufficient to bring those tribesmen to heel. Or the Vietcong of an earlier time. It’s a plus that the arrogant elite are so proficient at ignoring he lessons of the past.

After I retired from the AF and decided that the Airlines weren’t hiring, I used 1/2 my GI Bill to attend Pulaski Technical College for two years were I earned an FAA Aircraft A&P Mechanic License. The school gave me enough knowledge to pass my FAA Exams but there was no doubt in my mind that The School was funded/supported at minimum levels.
I never planned to be a professional mechanic. Was for fun and padding my Aviation Resume.
Now! We USA Taxpayers are paying for worthless Know/Can Do Nothing Degrees “earned’ by useless Sluggards ;-(

Never in my entire life has there been obituaries for two young babies ages 6 months and 18 months who have both died unexpectedly within 2 days of each other. January 19 and January 21st.

A left-wing revolution is developing in Poland. Public TV stations and public radios were even shut down for a short period (to install the new goverment activists) against the constitution and the law, also two congressmen were arrested while they were visitors at Poland’s president palace, a situation unheard of in the Western world. The president left the palace to attend some meeting for a short time, and a special operation was carried out, involving even a bus blocking the president’s motorcade while his guests were arrested. Not much attention in the media in the US… Sounds like democrats actions here in the US. Unfortunately the Polish president, Andrew Duda, is just a nice soft guy, he condems what is happening but as the army’s commander in chief should react to the savage breaching of the constitution by declaring a new election to be held.
