Louisville, Kentucky – Tonight we will hold a general national meeting at 7 pm Eastern Time (6 pm Central, 5 pm Mountain, and 4 pm Pacific). We are using a new system that can hold a multitude. The system requires that you type in any questions you have. Our Executive Director, Michael Murray (better known as MP) will read them and ask those questions after I am done talking. 

I will speak briefly on:

  1. Rising Prophetic Confusion
  2. Building Each Other Up
  3. The Necessity for Fidelity and Obedience
  4. The Tools CORAC Offers
  5. CORAC Priorities for This Year

We have already emailed the link to CORAC members. If you sign up, you get occasional updates, first notice on major events, and access to all the information on the site. Please notify the tech guys of your challenges at support@coracusa.com For future reference, when you are at the site and hover with your cursor over the words, “Member Resources,” on the ribbon near the top of the page, a drop down menu appears. From the drop down you can see the “Help” column on the far right of the five columns of options which appear. Let us know if you need further assistance. 🙂

    1. Ha, Sr. Bear. Until the advent of Facebook, I completely forgot my birthday a few times. I’ve never been big on birthdays…don’t completely get them. I LOVE Christmas and Easter and Thanksgiving and even Fourth of July. But I really don’t get birthdays (as my children could – sometimes bitterly – attest.)

Really liked the meeting last night.  I did type up a comment but was cut off again….  I am on DSL with AT&T and evenings are the worst for me to be on.  Cannot get cable where I live.  But  the good Lord let me hear what I needed to.   13. Wow wow wow!!! What a wonderful national meeting last night!!! Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed Charlie’s talk and answered questions!!! I need to find out what a rocket stove is though😂🚀

    1. It was SO good, Linda. I loved the heartening and clarifying aspects of both Charlie’s talk and his replies in the Q&A. Just do a general search as well as looking on You Tube and Vimeo using “rocket stove” and you’ll find LOTS of ideas. BUT before you build or purchase (My goodness, I’ll bet Mike could build a great one himself.) check in with your CORAC regional sustainability rep for ideas and suggestions.

      Oh, and for those reading this reply who may not yet have a regional member on the SUS committee from your region, get to know your CORAC friends because your next right step may well be assisting your regional coordinator in finding just the right match for this sector of CORAC. Another great option for finding such a person is considering your family, friends and neighbors who you know are knowledgeable about this area of living which will be highly impacted by what we’re about to go through. If they’re not yet in CORAC, invite them to join us. If they’re not ready yet to join, ask them to partner with us by being a resource, particularly if people have a great knowledge and experience base in this area.

  15. Happy Birthday, Charlie. I was also wondering if there will be video of the meeting from last night. I live in the foothills in Northern California, and we have 3 feet of snow, going on 4 now. We have had brief moments of power and internet (like now), and were not able to get online last night. We are very interested in the CORAC update. God’s blessings and prayers for everyone in the community.

      1. It is between a 30-50 year series of storms. Waiting for the last wave to hit in the next few hours. We had 5 feet on 1989. God’s creation is beautiful. A little drought insurance for this next year.

  20. Happy to catch up today with the global airmeet.
    Charlie was right on the money in my opinion. Having things that are of value is more important right now than IRA’s and savings. We cashed our over a year ago and paid off our house. We will get a solar generator, and water maker soon. Alms giving is also big on our list right now. There are many who need assistance, and if we can provide it, we will. We still have the young woman living upstairs that came our way in December. She is working hard on something (?) and is taking this “leg up” time, to position herself so she can become self sufficient. It has been such an “easy” opportunity for us to help her and give back. When the time comes (collapse), we have been looking at what we can do to help others and maybe be able to “barter” for what we may need. I am a retired cosmetologist and my husband is a retired building inspector. I think we will be able to offer our services. Everyone will need a haircut eh? In the meantime, we have joined a neighborhood group that is working on issues that affect our community. It’s a good way to make friends and get to know a wider circle of people who live in adjoining neighborhoods.
