Fire in the Hole

Fire in the Hole – Steve Harrington

By Charlie Johnston

I was planning to hit the ground running a week ago today, after having rested up for a week. Instead, I just hit the ground. I think I had a return bout with Covid last week. It was not near as bad as last fall. Shoot, it doesn’t even qualify as the Reader’s Digest Condensed Version. It does, I think, serve as a pretty good Cliff Notes outline of it, though. Thank heavens, I never took any of the gene therapy shots, so my immune system has not been compromised – and I began with Ivermectin right from the start. I also aggressively treated symptoms from the start. I kind of think, particularly after my last bout, that allowing symptoms to go too far dampens your vigor in fighting off a virus. My voice is still a bit husky, but I’m not croaking like a toad as I was most of last week.

Though mostly in bed or very quiet last week, I did get a few important things done. In this piece, I will make a few initial comments about Joe Biden’s creepy Nuremberg-style speech last Thursday; add some thoughts about some developments in my favored recreational reading – international thrillers and mysteries; and repeat a piece I published a year ago about Fatima. Today begins my September Fatima Novena and we sure are in times of fulfillment, aren’t we? The most striking thing to me from the September apparitions were that Our Lady said that many people go to hell because they have no one who prays for them. Let us never neglect to pray for our poor bleeding world and those who revile us while we are praying for our friends and loved ones.

The would-be American Fuehrer

Joe Biden went all 1936 Nuremberg rant last Thursday to declare MAGA Republicans as enemies of the state and a fascist threat. Normally, the first person who references Hitler in an argument reveals himself to be a hyperbolic twit. But it was Biden and the White House who chose to use optics, oratory and body language to channel his inner Fuehrer. As one person wryly commented on Twitter, the speech came off better in the original German. This was intentional on the part of Biden and staff. By using SWAT teams to arrest Trump aides, by raiding Trump’s home, and now by using Third Reich-style imagery and oratory, Biden and company are hoping to force conservatives and Christians to shut up and submit, lest he sic the corrupt FBI on them next. If you substituted the word, ‘Jew,’ for every time Biden used the word, ‘MAGA,’ you would swear you were reading a translated transcript of a Hitler rally.

Keep in mind that Hitler’s Nuremberg rants came before the holocaust. They were designed to prepare people for his war of extermination against his foes and his war of conquest against the rest of the world. It was to prepare them in two ways – to whip his true believers into a frenzy and to intimidate rational people into such cowering fear that they would not intervene with his monstrously evil plans.

Biden is, indeed, whipping his true believers into a frenzy. It blows my mind to read the fact-free, evidence-free, logic-free ranting assertions of leftists on Twitter – including once relatively intelligent people like Robert Reich and Jon Cooper. They have twisted themselves into some sort of frenzied rage – and they want blood. Of course, they never define ‘fascism’ because they are, literally, a textbook case-study in how that virulent ideology behaves. No, they just use it as an all-purpose smear and accusation against any dissent from their own fascist agenda.

Of course, Biden is less competent than Rob Reiner (the meathead) would be to actually take over the world. The best Biden could accomplish is to hold onto the vestiges of formal authority as the United States collapses in a convulsion of chaos. But he does hold the levers of formal authority. That will not do him nearly as much good as he thinks. Even worse for him, few people are actually intimidated by his Fuehrer routine, even though the FBI is a willing SS for him. The FBI and the Justice Dept’s credibility is in ashes, so none but leftist true believers accept their assertions. What Biden has done is laid bare his actual intentions. With no accomplishments and a desperate hunger to hold onto power for power’s sake, he resorts to threats and coercion to force opponents to heel. I don’t think it is a bluff. He already has abused power against ordinary citizens and his opponents in ways that no American leader of national reach has ever dreamed of doing. I don’t expect him to stop. His problem is that he is less scarecrow than he is scared crow. He just has not reached the threshold of intimidation a budding tyrant needs to force all to their knees.

There will be a fight. Biden and his minions – both in the federal government and the media – insist on it. They are far more vulnerable than they know. Leveraging that vulnerability in ways that force them to surrender is our charge. We will not start a fight. But we will not submit – and will finish whatever they start.

When I am on the road, I do a lot of off-schedule visits with key people: local and state law enforcement, doctors, scientists, enlisted and mid-level military officers (though I wish I had more of these), and many more. During the first Russian Revolution of 1917, the Czar’s forces thought they could hold things together – until the enlisted sailors shocked the establishment by turning on them and joining the revolutionaries. One of the biggest problems for would-be tyrants is that silencing your subjects keeps you from ever knowing what they are really thinking. The American people are not going to abandon liberty because people like Biden tell them they must or face his fiery wrath (give me a moment to stop giggling). And the more they say it, the angrier they make people – and the more people they lose. My free time these last few months has been almost entirely devoted to developing effective methods of resistance that can head violence off at the pass – while being ready to defend ourselves if the genuine leftist fascists lose patience and resort to open, wide-scale violence. We will be talking.

I use thrillers and mysteries as a sort of runaway truck ramp to slow down my speeding mind, particularly before bedtime. There has come a surreal quality over them these last few years, even as I suspend disbelief. Writers of thrillers still use the FBI and such as honorable enforcers of law and protectors of the public – even as federal law enforcement has morphed into a soulless version of the palace guard protecting the regime. It is like reading a period piece about the Roaring 20’s or a WWII novel. An honorable FBI: what a quaint notion! But fundamentally, it was once historically true. Writers of police procedurals are torn – trying to maintain their personal pc credentials while still honoring competent police work. Even as good a writer as Michael Connelly, creator of the “Harry Bosch” series had his otherwise hard-bitten Harry sympathizing with BLM and Antifa in one novel. It’s bizarre, but I suppose it is what popular writers had to deal with as the Soviets and the Third Reich settled in.

Though I loved Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple when I was a young man, I have largely despaired of finding a competent female writer of thrillers and mysteries. Their characters these days are all profoundly neurotic women, pining after men who look like they belong on the cover of a romance novel but turn out to be deeply manipulative and violent. Their stories could all be synopsized as, “Oh, why are men such beasts and how can we be shed of them?” If the blurb on a mystery book cover proclaims it to be a “psychological thriller,” run to the other side of the store.

For a while I enjoyed Patricia Cornwell’s mysteries delivered from the point of view of a medical examiner. But then the mildly annoying homosexual subthemes she loves became the main theme – with the tatters of an actual story becoming the support system for her LGBT activism. That is not a problem just for women authors. Phillip Margolin has written some marvelous legal and police thrillers, but of late often degenerates into using his books as a platform to advocate for transgenderism. Thank heavens for writers like John Sanford, Lee Child, Mark Greaney and a few others who stick to writing compelling stories without using their books as a platform for “woke” advocacy.

I have made a joyful discovery, though. J. A. Jance has been around for a while. I should have bumped into her sooner. But she writes marvelous gems of thrillers and mysteries that focus on the story. Her characters are deep and rich, finely and logically crafted. Who knows, I might stumble onto some book that she’s written that is all weepy neuroses sometime, but if I do it will be the exception that confirms the rule. I am delighted, though, to have come upon the first woman writer of such literature since Agatha Christie who focuses on good stories instead of internal – and interminable – neurotic psychodramas.

And now my piece on Fatima, with which I kick off my personal Novena this month:

By Charlie Johnston

Last week, the Priest who keeps the archives of material I produce forwarded me this piece from Crisis Magazine with the note that it strongly supports my interpretation of the Third Secret of Fatima made over 21 years ago. Note that no apparitions or visitations were involved in that interpretation. Rather, when I first read the text of the actual secret on June 27, 2000, I recognized it as familiar territory from the totality of my life experiences and contemplation. The text of that secret as written by Fatima visionary Sr. Lucia, released by the Vatican at Pope St. John Paul’s order on June 26 of the same year, reads:

“I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

“After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.”

Some have argued that this is not the complete secret. Possible, I suppose, but I find it most unlikely. To believe that, I would have to believe that this sainted Pope was intentionally deceptive. I would have to further believe that then Cdl. Joseph Ratzinger (the future Pope Benedict XVI), the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and the then still-living Sr. Lucia were co-conspirators with him in the deception. Good interpretation is brutally hard as it is. I prefer to act with great restraint. That does not mean that there is never a conspiracy afoot, but I have to see real evidence or compelling logic to consider such a thing. To believe that both St. John Paul and the future Pope Benedict, who risked death when they were young to live fidelity to their faith and that Sr. Lucia, who gave her whole life in orthodox service to the Lord, suddenly became cheap, deceptive hucksters defies all logic. People who think everything is a conspiracy simply put the cart before the horse. They come up with some wacky narrative of their own devising and torture all facts and evidence that come to light to contradict it to support their own narrative. It is the modern form of Gnosticism, the seduction of claiming secret knowledge that is counter-factual and counter-logical. It’s a fool’s game that does not just complicate interpretation, but makes it impossible. If somebody begins a conversation by assuring you that they are nobody’s fool or that they know the score, prepare yourself for a lengthy fact-free and unhinged rant. It is a waste of time and a playground for the devil.

I had been a great admirer of St. John Paul II from early in his papacy, while I was still a Protestant. It seemed to me that the abuses that were commonplace among clerics in the ‘70s and ‘80s, all justified under the “spirit of Vatican II” were simply attacks on the faith, itself. They were the rotting wood afflicting the ship of faith – and were contrary to the Documents of Vatican II. The “spirit” of Vatican II is like the “penumbras” liberal judges always assign to the Constitution – a means of contradicting what the documents actually say in order to justify what those clerics and judges want. By the ‘90s Pope St. John Paul was a veritable fountain of orthodoxy, issuing perhaps the most magnificent series of Encyclicals in history, defining and securing the ancient orthodox interpretations of faith, salvation, our evangelical calling, marriage and the family. He was relentlessly pulling away all the rotted timber from the ship of faith and replacing it with new, seasoned lumber to prepare the ship for a great crisis. It was hard for opponents to credibly argue that Pope St. John Paul was violating the “spirit” of Vatican II since he had been one of the prime intellectual and theological architects of that council.

In September of 1976, during a tour of the United States, then Cardinal Karol Wojtyla, the future Pope St. John Paul II was reported to have said in Philadelphia that:

“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel. This confrontation lies within the plans of divine Providence; it is a trial which the whole Church, and the Polish Church in particular, must take up. It is a trial of not only our nation and the Church, but, in a sense, a test of 2,000 years of culture and Christian civilization with all of its consequences for human dignity, individual rights, human rights and the rights of nations.”

As I contemplated the fountain of orthodoxy pouring forth from Pope St. John Paul, particularly in the ‘90s, I did not think that would finish the battle between the Church and the anti-Church, the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel. Rather, I believed that St. John Paul was fortifying the ship of faith for the great battle ahead. This is part of the context in which I penned my interpretation of the Third Secret of Fatima and sent copies to my Priest Directors on June 28, 2000. Following is the verbatim text:

“The angel with the sword is the angel of God’s justice. The fire proceeding from the sword is what humanity has merited, especially in this horrible century. Our Lord is offended by many things, but nothing so much as the general indifference and contempt with which we have treated his mother. But it is her constant intercession and pleadings on our behalf which restrains God’s justice.

“The assassination attempt against John Paul II and its timing identify him as the pope of Fatima, but it is not the point of this secret. The ascent up the hill represents this pope’s particular mission. The city which lies half in ruins is Christianity, half of which no longer believes in God, but says Jesus was merely a good moral teacher. The corpses the pope meets and prays for on his way are those who, though they breathe, are spiritually dead. The cross at the top of the hill is the end of the pope’s mission on earth. It represents both his triumph and his death to this world. He kneels before it offering his work to Christ. It is after this triumph that the terror begins. It is the body of the pope’s work that the soldiers fire at. That they are in uniform shows that it is an organized effort. These are the legions who have given themselves over to Satan. But the pope has his legions as well. They are the priests and bishops and religious who joined themselves to him and followed him on his way. They will be true champions for Christ as the battle is joined. Prominent among them will be some of the dead souls – the corpses – reborn to spiritual life through the pope’s prayers. – Charlie Johnston, June 28, 2000”

Now the great confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel, is fully joined. And the legions of the satan are firing at St. John Paul’s work right within the very pontifical institute erected in his memory. But as St. John Paul often said, even in the very first words of his pontificate, “Be not afraid!”

The corpses who are spiritually dead now seek to remake the Church in their own desolate image. They will not prevail.

Late in 2017 I was taken to see the aftermath of some of the catastrophic fires in Santa Rosa, California. I wrote about it as follows:

On Friday, December 1, I was given a tour of some of the fire sites in Santa Rosa, California by friends of mine who knew the damage well. I have never seen anything like it. Usually, when looking at a house that has burned, you see a scorched shell. Here entire neighborhoods and, in one case a small village, were utterly incinerated. Everything was burned to ashes down to the foundation, with only internal brickwork left standing. These were entire neighborhoods. We first visited a community of multi-million-dollar homes, all gone, all incinerated. We visited an older middle-class neighborhood, utterly destroyed. With the strange capriciousness of large-scale fires, occasionally there was a home untouched in the midst of the hundreds destroyed. We visited what was once a K-Mart that was now ashes and block – adjacent to an untouched strip mall that shared a parking lot with it.

The day after Thanksgiving in 1974, my family’s home burned up. I remember marveling at seeing an old wall phone incinerated with melted metal remains laying in a scorched pool on the shelf below. Meanwhile, less than a foot away on the same shelf, a soft rubber toy was intact with barely a scorch mark showing. A room was entirely consumed – except for a painting on the wall that was untouched, though everything around it was black. Fire is mercurial. Such extensive, comprehensive and complete destruction is amazing, though. It must have been hyper-hot, because cars parked on former curbs were also incinerated. In many cases, the wheels had melted like candles.

What was most amazing was that, in the midst of this catastrophic and comprehensive destruction, the trees were hardly touched. A few had minor scorching, but that was the extent of the damage. Even in the middle of vast incineration zones, trees swayed with their leaves fluttering. That’s right: even the leaves on the trees were scarcely touched. I looked at a row of cars along a former curb, one with its back wheel melted to a silver puddle. Less than two feet away stood a bush with its leaves green and healthy. I keep a poker face when visiting any tragic site with others, but I was completely flummoxed by this. I have pondered long and hard on it, speaking to several friends about the peculiarities here. It seemed to me there was more than a fire behind these ashes, that it was in some way a sign. The most insightful comment came from my friend, David Daleiden, who commented that perhaps, in terms of faith, it suggests that what is not living will be consumed and what is alive will be spared, even in the midst of a conflagration. My son suggested that in disaster, we are taken down to the foundation — and then find how sound our foundation is. Those are worthy of contemplation.”

We are in the midst of a growing conflagration. But this tour was a sign for me. What is alive to God in faith, even in the midst of conflagration, will be spared and, even, thrive – down to the most tender leaf. What is dead to God, with all its showy presumption, will be utterly consumed in the flames of its own hubris and swept away.

In his lifetime, Pope St. John Paul the Great busied himself preparing the faith and the faithful for the great confrontation ahead. Now that the great confrontation has begun, I know that St. John Paul intercedes for us constantly from heaven. Be not afraid, for our reclamation is at hand. We live in an age of great heroes rising.

St. John Paul, pray for us!

  1. Thanks for your analysis on Joe Biden’s truly creepy performance, Charlie. Looking forward to the ideas concerning effective resistance… in due course. And, oh yes, praying – to the last moments – for the kind of mitigation that finds people turning back to God or, perhaps, really discovering Him for the first time.

  2. Thank-you, Charlie. Glad you are somewhat better. (And better every day!)
I have found much to ponder here. Most of all, I am compelled to pray to St. JohnPaulII for his intercession. I pray daily for our Pope Francis and ask that God’s will be done. If JPII replaced rotten timbers, Francis is certainly calling out the termites…perhaps to conversion.🙏🏽
Most of all, after thanking God our Father for my own healing, I pray for docility of spirit that I may do the will of God.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

  3. The trees left standing remind me of the Jesuit priests who were unharmed by the atomic bomb at Hiroshima. I read that they were followers of Out Lady of Fatima and prayed the rosary daily. Be not afraid!

      1. Both are true. The Jesuits walked away even though they were nearvthe blast. They did not suffer from the radiation and led normal lives. My understanding is that the Franciscans were near the second bomb and also did not suffer.

  4. Glad you were able to shake the fauci bio-weapon a bit quicker this time Charlie. It seems to have mutated into weaker strains but also seems to continuously pop up everywhere now. I still have lingering affects from a bout in late December which has improved glacially slow. The ethically vapid mummy-in chief was a cartoonish figure in the horror show speech. The technocrats pulling the strings do pose a serious threat and they do mean business. A professor named Mattias Desmet who you have probably seen on Tucker or elsewhere has an ominous dissertation on the mass formation which is taking place in our nation. He asserts peaceful resistance Ghandi and MLK style is the only way forward. However, Americans have always been a can do, hands on people. May our Gracious God and the Blessed Mother please guide our path.

    1. The mRNA jab is a bioweapon. Everyone should look up Dr. Richard Fleming – the Fleming Method. He has been censored for 2 years by our govt/tech powers. This Cardiologist holds a PHd, MD, and JD. He has patent his Nuclear Imaging invention that can detect heart inflammation really early on and people can then avoid heart attacks with lifestyle changes. He is also director of the “peer review” board which decides what is released and ready for consumption by the scientific community etc.
He states that Sars covid2 was a gain of function bioweapon and the insane population control minions, Big Pharma put it in the jab. Read more on his site.
Dr. Fleming, along with many other learned doctors and scientist are heroes.

      1. Dear Kylla, thanks for your comment. I do believe that we have a lot more in common than you might think. I certainly believe that this entire event was completely planned out with military precision. I only mentioned Desmet because he had recently been making the rounds on podcasts and tv. I did see where he rebutted Dr. Peter Breggin, who I hold in the highest esteem and is a much more authoritative expert on this issue, and stated that he believed “Based on this ideology, institutions were created that make plans about what future society should look like and how the ideal future society should respond to crisis situations. The Lockstep scenario of the Rockefeller Foundation,12 Event 201 of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (in collaboration with John Hopkins and the Rockefeller foundation),13 and The Great Reset by Klaus Schwab14 are examples of such endeavors. For many people, these events and publications are the ultimate proof that the social developments we’re experiencing are planned and the product of a conspiracy, since long before the outbreak these “plans” described how society would go into lockdown as the result of a pandemic, that a biopassport would be introduced, and that people would be tracked and traced with subcutaneous sensors.”( Desmet response to Breggin) Kylla, I love you. Let’s fight these narcissistic sociopaths together. Jim C.

      1. Hi Kylla. You are new here and are undoubtedly surprised that I edited out most of your comment. That is not because I want to squelch you, but because I want you to go back to the drawing board after reading our comments policy. We do not do the, “Jane, you ignorant slut!” style of discourse that is so popular on most comment boards. You are free to disagree with whoever you want, but do it with some sense of balance and grace. Caustically stating your opinion is not sufficient to make a case. If you wish to dispute Dr. Desmet or anyone else, if all you have to offer is opinion – as you did in your long comment, do it relatively politely. If you want to use any sarcasm, an epee is MUCH more suited to this site than a battle-axe. If you want to make a serious refutation, get verifiable facts to support your argument, not just sarcastically stated opinions.

I do not presume any bad faith on your part at this point. You are probably imitating the caustic style of comment that abounds almost everywhere these days. We do it differently here. I don’t mind a little heat, but I expect a lot more light. We treat each other with respect. It is certainly more work, but it makes these comment boards a valued supplement to the article itself rather than just a disagreement conducted with tire irons.

  5. Thank you for this post. The optics of that speech were eerie…but not surprising after some of your recent posts.

For your readers that are anxious about what is happening, and what is to come, I have found great comfort in reading the Divine Office. On many occasions, a reading will correspond to the day’s challenges in a way that gives great peace. God’s Word is alive, and speaks to us…if only we take the time to listen.

Charlie I watched this series today and it disturbed me greatly. In the past I have valued the work of the folks on this site. While what they were saying seemed well researched I couldn’t believe the accusations they were making. Is there anyway you could look at it and give me some insight? Thank you

    1. Maryanne, we have a video length limit of 30 minutes, but I also removed the link because of its false claims. Of course, Charlie will respond, but just looking at the things put forth in the accompanying book about the recent Popes shows that this report takes the cake on outrageous claims, leaving one shaking the head at what in the world were the resources of the research. The summation of problems with the Popes includes the claim that Pope St Paul VI began the reign of the Antichrist on June 29, 1963. We’ve actually had both Charlie and a guest post by Desmond Birch give us the teaching on why this isn’t the time of the Antichrist. We can see from the You Tube title that Pope St. John Paul II is claimed to be a Masonic saint. How ugly a smear this is. The book furthers states that Pope Benedict XVI presented himself as the head of the Illuminati of Bavaria because of the symbols on his Papal Coat of Arms. Too much. I think your sense of being greatly disturbed was a good inner knowing that there were problems with this report. God bless, Maryanne.

    2. Hey Maryanne, good to hear from you. Remember, I have said since I first started here that we will have many surprises – some of people who we thought would always stand in faith but betray us, and others we regarded lightly who will step up.

Beyond that, though, the devil is not a stupid liar. On the big stuff, he will tell you a hundred truths to get you accustomed to his voice so you are more inclined to believe the big lie he desperately needs you to believe. One of the most important visions I ever had involved St. John Paul, back in March of 1993. It showed me much of who he is and how important his work was. When someone launches a vicious, malicious attack on St. John Paul, it does not cause me to rethink that great saint. Rather, it reveals to me the ugly malice behind whoever launches the attack. I pray for their return, but I will never pay any regard to anything they say on the faith from here on out, even when the devil is busy trying to tell some consoling truths through them. They have welcomed an unclean spirit into their midst.

      1. Thank you Charlie! This had me so confused and conflicted, sadly in these times the great deceiver continues his work. The challenging part to this for me was the author appeared to be able to back up his claims, but of course he would be able to do that. I just need to remember acknowledge God, take the next right step and foster hope. And measure all by this yardstick 🥰 Thank you again and God bless you.

  7. Consider that Brandon and his party are anticipating that the Rs will win a House majority in Nov–so that next year the Rs will establish multiple committees to investigate the handling of the Hunter-laptop-from Hell which directly refers to the “Big Guy” getting his share of pay-to-play influence peddling. “The Big Guy” theme will then be trumpeted going into the ’24 elections.

If ever there were a case to appoint a special counsel by the Justice Dept to avoid an obvious conflict of interest with the Big Guy,” this is surely it. But instead, the Justice Dept and FBI are providing cover for apparent corruption, and they are concerned that a Trump reelection will mean they need to find new jobs, at best. Likewise intel agency leaders who have been complicit in denying the Hunter Laptop was the real deal.

Biden’s Feurer-like speech was motivated by anxiety and fear, hoping, as Charlie mentioned, to suppress good folks from getting involved as patriots.

Yes!!! That’s what I often think about, Charlie, when I’m tempted to hold a grudge or dismiss prayer for people that loathe me or people anywhere! Then I think of what Our adorable Jesus told Elizabeth Kindleman in the 🔥 flame of love unity prayer ❤️

    My adorable Jesus,
    May our feet journey together.
May our hands gather in unity.
May our hearts beat in unison.
May our souls be in harmony.
May our thoughts be as one.
May our ears listen to the silence together.
May our glances profoundly penetrate each other.
May our lips pray together to gain mercy from the Eternal Father.

There are so many to help Our Adorable Jesus to gather ❤️🔥🥰

So glad you are feeling better Charlie!!! Keep up on your vitamins! I did after Covid and am doing well. Mike wanted to stop the vitamins so he did (against my recommendations) and the Covid moved around his body and now he’s battling an acute ear infection. The virtigo was insane. He still can’t hear out of his right ear😩

    1. Love this prayer! I beg my favorite saints, my husband and my grandchildren in Heaven to gather round me to make us a “Our” as we pray it every morning. But I never thought to pray the “our” with my fallen-away children and the others in the world. Will have to add that now.

BTW, I passed out 365 “Baby Feet” pins to folks at our Bazaar Sunday. Think Brandon’s speech hit home. And we will NOT go silently into the background.

  10. Thank you Charlie for connecting a number of dots with this piece. As the chaos increases around us, I received particular consolation in the reflection on the analogy from the California fires.

We are certainly now in God’s winnowing fan where the chaff gets separated from the wheat. All of us are both chaff and wheat, at first and for a time. But I long for the day when the chaff in me is gone and the only thing left is that good wheat to be gathered up.

Let us continue to encourage one another and take our next right steps together.

They practically screamed their intentions at us.

    1. You may not be aware that there was no such thing as the flu until the 1500’s. It was an emergent virus that was very similar to a cold but had some starkly different characteristics. While it existed with some commonness in Europe, it did not become truly endemic in the states until the very early part of the last century. Once it emerged, it became a normal part of seasonal viral diseases – and largely became weaker over time (occasionally there is a rough strain).

I was completely satisfied that Covid is, indeed, a different thing before I ever contracted it. On that, the science and data is sound – even if it is bowdlerized in public communication. Once I got it, I had NO doubt. It required different treatment than a cold or flu – and the recovery regimen was different, as well. Alas, what the government and the establishment medical community recommended as treatments did little or no good and often made it worse. The medical community from 1917-19 did a MUCH better – and more humble – job of actually dealing with what was almost certainly a far deadlier pandemic. It has many similarities with other viral infections – but some very distinct differences. For example, with a very bad flu, intubation can save a person’s life. With Covid, it is almost certainly a death sentence.

I understand. With all the lies the gov’t and medical establishment told about this, it is easy to retreat into believing that everything about it was a hoax. I have a relative who was adamant that it was just a flu or common cold…until he got it – and finally realized that this was NOT the flu.

I don’t base things here on either reflexive credulity or reflexive cynicism, but do the hard research to try to find, as best I can, what is accurate. I spent an hour and a half almost every day for about a year studying hard data on this – while also having our primary science consultant do the same and develop recommendations. I resisted the advice of people on our side who dismissively urged me to pretend it was just a cold or flu. Had I succumbed, we would have given advice that would have damaged people. I resisted the pressure from the establishment to just do what they say. Had we done that, we would have confirmed advice that DID damage a lot of people. I’m surely not always right – but I am an independent cuss who works very hard to get it as right as I can. Through CORAC, we helped a LOT of people in the last year by working to get it right, neither by succumbing to political pressure nor going the other direction of casually dismissing all danger. I’m very proud that we helped over a hundred people I know of and did not lose anyone that I am aware of, though there are four cases where I think it is very likely we saved lives.

So I won’t call it a common cold or a flu – because both my research and the evidence say it is not. Nor will I pretend it is the equivalent of the Black Plague – because both my research and the evidence say it is not. And I won’t say it should be treated exactly like a cold or flu – because, again, my research and the evidence say that though there are similarities, there are also significant differences.

      1. A heady article about the lab origins of SARSCOV2 and why it is not just “a common cold” and explains why our bodies do not react to it as just a cold or flu.
I have included some quotes for those who do not wish to read the long article but it relates how two additions the this virus genome are from HIV and malaria and why so many additional symptoms reflect infection by these two diseases.
“Luc Montagnier’s assertion does not come at random because in reality, as we have already mentioned previously ( chapter 7 part 2 ), the AIDS virus is causing havoc in China that is not communicated by the WHO . Another rising scourge in China is malaria from Southeast Asia and Africa with which China has developed a large number of economic and strategic contacts over the past 15 years. The malaria epidemic in China appears to have been brought under control since 2015, at a cost of $ 135 million (USD). But the possibility of resurgence necessarily exists and the need to develop a vaccine remains given the economic and human cost of this disease. Note that the countries of Africa and China share the same double struggle over AIDS and malaria, which are their common scourges. Therefore, one can wonder if there is a tacit agreement between the WHO, whose director Tedros Ghebreyesus is Ethiopian, and the Chinese government for the development of vaccines against AIDS and malaria both its declarations and its actions seem subservient to Chinese power.”
“Another strategy, much more recent, consists in grafting an envelope protein target virus (such as HIV) on a vector virus. We could even push the concept of vaccination to a respiratory virus, quite infectious but not very pathogenic, such as a mild cold human coronavirus, to which the population has been adapted for a long time and which would convey vaccine epitopes of the target virus or pathogen. We do not know if such a strategy is feasible in practice. In any case, given what has already been undertaken in recent years in terms of genetic manipulation of viruses, for laudable goals in China and elsewhere, it is certainly not a moral rule that would prevent this possibility from being seriously considered.”
“The many research studies carried out over the past dozen years at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) show the considerable efforts that have been made there to find an AIDS vaccine.
The presence of the signature sequence reflects the integration of a sequence fragment from the Kénya 2008 strain ofRaTG13 HIV1 into the genome of SARS-Cov2 … and that of RaTG13, the only known sample of which was kept since 2013 (until in 2017-2018) in paraffin at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Unless we imagine that the Chinese bats of Yunnan were contaminated before 2013 by an ancestor of the 2008 Kenya strain of HIV1 and would have naturally produced a viral recombination, we cannot explain this by mere chance.”
“They assert that this unmistakable presence of concentrated EIAs, in relation to HIV but also with the Yoeli Plasmodium parasite (1 long mini-sequence of 38 nt), the agent responsible for malaria, would not be natural and would reflect a strategy of attempt to develop a vaccine that would have leaked from a research laboratory in China.”

      2. Charlie, by your description, we were very, very lucky to have gotten a weakened strain! I had congestion and cough with no fever. It felt just like a bad cold and so I treated it for one day like a cold (decongestant, cough medicine). And rested…and rested some more. But neither Steve nor I got got severely ill. I did lose my senses of taste & smell.
Since we are talking about this virus, have you seen anything you can believe about the so-called “long Covid?” We would so much appreciate your opinion.
Thanks so much for all your teachings-we really do appreciate it all.

        1. Katey, long covid is real. The following link will take you to an hour long interview – hosted by the heroes at FLCCC – which speaks not only to vaccine fallout, but also highlights reasons to tend well to our bodies during and after having had covid. I thank God, often, for the Brazen Serpent Prayer and, at the same time, I remember that within the prayer is the reminder to use the ordinary means of healing for they, too, are gifts from the Lord.

I will also add that SteveBC has often stressed, over time, that spike proteins – whether from the covid virus or the vaxxx – are something we would want to eliminate from our bodies. Sadly, those spike proteins introduced via the mRNA technology proliferate because of the action of that mRNA tech.

          The link:

He will be applying for approval through the FDA for his treatment protocols. Somewhat technical and very interesting. His website is: ~ as was with the treatment for the original virus, his treatment medications are two very common drugs. It’s all about treating the inflammation.

  15. Hi Mr Johnston. I’ve taken to heart your observation that substituting “Jews” for “MAGA” in Mr Biden’s speech might be instructive so I’ve copied and edited his speech here to do just that.

Transcript of “President” Biden’s speech – given at Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 1, 2022, –

with references to “MAGA Republicans” substituted with “THE JEWS”

in the hopes that those who know and have learned from history will be on guard not to repeat it.

THE PRESIDENT: My fellow Americans, please, if you have a seat, take it. I speak to you tonight from sacred ground in America: Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This is where America made its Declaration of Independence to the world more than two centuries ago with an idea, unique among nations, that in America, we’re all created equal.

This is where the United States Constitution was written and debated.

This is where we set in motion the most extraordinary experiment of self-government the world has ever known with three simple words: “We, the People.” “We, the People.”

These two documents and the ideas they embody — equality and democracy — are the rock upon which this nation is built. They are how we became the greatest nation on Earth. They are why, for more than two centuries, America has been a beacon to the world.

But as I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise.

So tonight, I have come this place where it all began to speak as plainly as I can to the nation about the threats we face, about the power we have in our own hands to meet these threats, and about the incredible future that lies in front of us if only we choose it.

We must never forget: We, the people, are the true heirs of the American experiment that began more than two centuries ago.

We, the people, have burning inside each of us the flame of liberty that was lit here at Independence Hall — a flame that lit our way through abolition, the Civil War, Suffrage, the Great Depression, world wars, Civil Rights.

That sacred flame still burns now in our time as we build an America that is more prosperous, free, and just.

That is the work of my presidency, a mission I believe in with my whole soul.

But first, we must be honest with each other and with ourselves.

Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal.

THE JEWS represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.

Now, I want to be very clear — (applause) — very clear up front: Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are JEWS. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology.

I know because I’ve been able to work with these mainstream Republicans.

But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by THE JEWS, and that is a threat to this country.

    These are hard things.

But I’m an American President — not the President of red America or blue America, but of all America.

And I believe it is my duty — my duty to level with you, to tell the truth no matter how difficult, no matter how painful.

And here, in my view, is what is true: THE JEWS do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people.

They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.

THE JEWS are determined to take this country backwards — backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.

They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country.

They look at the mob that stormed the United States Capitol on January 6th — brutally attacking law enforcement — not as insurrectionists who placed a dagger to the throat of our democracy, but they look at them as patriots.

And they see their JEWISH failure to stop a peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections.

They tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 million people. This time, they’re determined to succeed in thwarting the will of the people.

That’s why respected conservatives, like Federal Circuit Court Judge Michael Luttig, has called THE JEWS, quote, a “clear and present danger” to our democracy.

But while the threat to American democracy is real, I want to say as clearly as we can: We are not powerless in the face of these threats. We are not bystanders in this ongoing attack on democracy.

There are far more Americans — far more Americans from every — from every background and belief who reject JEWISH ideology than those that accept it. (Applause.)

And, folks, it is within our power, it’s in our hands — yours and mine — to stop the assault on American democracy.

I believe America is at an inflection point — one of those moments that determine the shape of everything that’s to come after.

And now America must choose: to move forward or to move backwards? To build the future or obsess about the past? To be a nation of hope and unity and optimism, or a nation of fear, division, and of darkness?

THE JEWS have made their choice. They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow of lies.

But together — together, we can choose a different path. We can choose a better path. Forward, to the future. A future of possibility. A future to build and dream and hope.

And we’re on that path, moving ahead.

I know this nation. I know you, the American people. I know your courage. I know your hearts. And I know our history.

This is a nation that honors our Constitution. We do not reject it. (Applause.)

This is a nation that believes in the rule of law. We do not repudiate it. (Applause.)

This is a nation that respects free and fair elections. We honor the will of the people. We do not deny it. (Applause.)

And this is a nation that rejects violence as a political tool. We do not encourage violence.

We are still an America that believes in honesty and decency and respect for others, patriotism, liberty, justice for all, hope, possibilities.

We are still, at our core, a democracy. (Applause.)

And yet history tells us that blind loyalty to a single leader and a willingness to engage in political violence is fatal to democracy.

For a long time, we’ve told ourselves that American democracy is guaranteed, but it’s not.

We have to defend it, protect it, stand up for it — each and every one of us.

That’s why tonight I’m asking our nation to come together, unite behind the single purpose of defending our democracy regardless of your ideology. (Applause.)

We’re all called, by duty and conscience, to confront extremists who will put their own pursuit of power above all else.

Democrats, independents, mainstream Republicans: We must be stronger, more determined, and more committed to saving American democracy than THE JEWS are to — to destroying American democracy.

We, the people, will not let anyone or anything tear us apart. Today, there are dangers around us we cannot allow to prevail. We hear — you’ve heard it — more and more talk about violence as an acceptable political tool in this country. It’s not. It can never be an acceptable tool.

So I want to say this plain and simple: There is no place for political violence in America. Period. None. Ever. (Applause.)

We saw law enforcement brutally attacked on January the 6th. We’ve seen election officials, poll workers — many of them volunteers of both parties — subjected to intimidation and death threats. And — can you believe it? — FBI agents just doing their job as directed, facing threats to their own lives from their own fellow citizens.

On top of that, there are public figures — today, yesterday, and the day before — predicting and all but calling for mass violence and rioting in the streets.

This is inflammatory. It’s dangerous. It’s against the rule of law. And we, the people, must say: This is not who we are. (Applause.)

    Ladies and gentlemen, we can’t be pro-ex- — pro-ex- — pro-insurrectionist and pro-American. They’re incompatible. (Applause.)

We can’t allow violence to be normalized in this country. It’s wrong. We each have to reject political violence with — with all the moral clarity and conviction this nation can muster. Now.

We can’t let the integrity of our elections be undermined, for that is a path to chaos.

Look, I know poli- — politics can be fierce and mean and nasty in America. I get it. I believe in the give-and-take of politics, in disagreement and debate and dissent.

We’re a big, complicated country. But democracy endures only if we, the people, respect the guardrails of the republic. Only if we, the people, accept the results of free and fair elections. (Applause.) Only if we, the people, see politics not as total war but mediation of our differences.

Democracy cannot survive when one side believes there are only two outcomes to an election: either they win or they were cheated. And that’s where THE JEWS are today. (Applause.)

They don’t understand what every patriotic American knows: You can’t love your country only when you win. (Applause.) It’s fundamental.

American democracy only works only if we choose to respect the rule of law and the institutions that were set up in this chamber behind me, only if we respect our legitimate political differences.

I will not stand by and watch — I will not — the will of the American people be overturned by wild conspiracy theories and baseless, evidence-free claims of fraud.

I will not stand by and watch elections in this country stolen by people who simply refuse to accept that they lost. (Applause.)

I will not stand by and watch the most fundamental freedom in this country — the freedom to vote and have your vote counted — and — be taken from you and the American people. (Applause.)

Look, as your President, I will defend our democracy with every fiber of my being, and I’m asking every American to join me. (Applause.)

(A protestor disruption can be heard.)

Throughout our history, America has often made the greatest progress coming out of some of our darkest moments, like you’re hearing in that bullhorn.

I believe we can and we must do that again, and we are.

THE JEWS look at America and see carnage and darkness and despair. They spread fear and lies –- lies told for profit and power.

But I see a very different America — an America with an unlimited future, an America that is about to take off. I hope you see it as well. Just look around.

I believed we could lift America from the depths of COVID, so we passed the largest economic recovery package since Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And today, America’s economy is faster, stronger than any other advanced nation in the world. (Applause.) We have more to go.

I believed we could build a better America, so we passed the biggest infrastructure investment since President Dwight D. Eisenhower. And we’ve now embarked on a decade of rebuilding
the nation’s roads, bridges, highways, ports, water systems, high-speed Internet, railroads. (Applause.)

I believed we could make America safer, so we passed the most significant gun safety law since President Clinton. (Applause.)

I believed we could go from being the highest cost of prescriptions in the world to making prescription drugs and healthcare more affordable, so we passed the most significant healthcare reforms since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act. (Applause.)

And I believed we could create — we could create a clean energy future and save the planet, so we passed the most important climate initiative ever, ever, ever. (Applause.)

The cynics and the critics tell us nothing can get done, but they are wrong. There is not a single thing America cannot do — not a single thing beyond our capacity if we do it together.

It’s never easy. But we’re proving that in America, no matter how long the road, progress does come. (Applause.)

Look, I know the last year — few years have been tough. But today, COVID no longer controls our lives. More Americans are working than ever. Businesses are growing. Our schools are open. Millions of Americans have been lifted out of poverty. Millions of veterans once exposed to toxic burn pits will now get what they deserve for their families and the compa- — compensation. (Applause.)

American manufacturing has come alive across the Heartland, and the future will be made in America — (applause) — no matter what THE JEWD say.

I made a bet on you, the American people, and that bet is paying off. Proving that from darkness — the darkness of Charlottesville, of COVID, of gun violence, of insurrection — we can see the light. Light is now visible. (Applause.)

Light that will guide us forward not only in words, but in actions — actions for you, for your children, for your grandchildren, for America.

Even in this moment, with all the challenges we face, I give you my word as a Biden: I’ve never been more optimistic about America’s future. Not because of me, but because of who you are.

We’re going to end cancer as we know it. Mark my words. (Applause.)

We are going to create millions of new jobs in a clean energy economy.

We’re going to think big. We’re going to make the 21st century another American century because the world needs us to. (Applause.)

That’s where we need to focus our energy — not in the past, not on divisive culture wars, not on the politics of grievance, but on a future we can build together.

THE JEWS believe that for them to succeed, everyone else has to fail. They believe America — not like I believe about America.

I believe America is big enough for all of us to succeed, and that is the nation we’re building: a nation where no one is left behind.

I ran for President because I believed we were in a battle for the soul of this nation. I still believe that to be true. I believe the soul is the breath, the life, and the essence of who we are. The soul is what makes us “us.”

The soul of America is defined by the sacred proposition that all are created equal in the image of God. That all are entitled to be treated with decency, dignity, and respect. That all deserve justice and a shot at lives of prosperity and consequence. And that democracy — democracy must be defended, for democracy makes all these things possible. (Applause.) Folks, and it’s up to us.

Democracy begins and will be preserved in we, the people’s, habits of heart, in our character: optimism that is tested yet endures, courage that digs deep when we need it, empathy that fuels democracy, the willingness to see each other not as enemies but as fellow Americans.

Look, our democracy is imperfect. It always has been.

Notwithstanding those folks (THE JEWS) you hear on the other side there. They’re entitled to be outrageous. This is a democracy. But history and common sense — (applause) — good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from.

But history and common sense tell us that opportunity, liberty, and justice for all are most likely to come to pass in a democracy.

We have never fully realized the aspirations of our founding, but every generation has opened those doors a little wider to include more people who have been excluded before.

My fellow Americans, America is an idea — the most powerful idea in the history of the world. And it beats in the hearts of the people of this country. It beats in all of our hearts. It unites America. It is the American creed.

The idea that America guarantees that everyone be treated with dignity. It gives hate no safe harbor. It installs in everyone the belief that no matter where you start in life, there’s nothing you can’t achieve.

That’s who we are. That’s what we stand for. That’s what we believe. And that is precisely what we are doing: opening doors, creating new possibilities, focusing on the future. And we’re only just beginning. (Applause.)

Our task is to make our nation free and fair, just and strong, noble and whole.

And this work is the work of democracy — the work of this generation. It is the work of our time, for all time.

We can’t afford to have — leave anyone on the sidelines. We need everyone to do their part. So speak up. Speak out. Get engaged. Vote, vote, vote. (Applause.)

And if we all do our duty — if we do our duty in 2022 and beyond, then ages still to come will say we — all of us here — we kept the faith. We preserved democracy. (Applause.) We heeded our wor- — we — we heeded not our worst instincts but our better angels. And we proved that, for all its imperfections, America is still the beacon to the world, an ideal to be realized, a promise to be kept.

There is nothing more important, nothing more sacred, nothing more American. That’s our soul. That’s who we truly are. And that’s who must — we must always be.

And I have no doubt — none –– that this is who we will be and that we’ll come together as a nation. That we’ll secure our democracy. That for the next 200 years, we’ll have what we had the past 200 years: the greatest nation on the face of the Earth.

We just need to remember who we are. We are the United States of America. The United States of America. (Applause.)

And may God protect our nation. And may God protect all those who stand watch over our democracy. God bless you all. (Applause.) Democracy. Thank you. (Applause.)

    1. Thanks John. To get the full, stark effect, you ought to read some translations of some of Hitler’s pre-holocaust rants. This is nearly identical, draping himself in seemingly patriotic German jingoism while arguing that the Jews were sucking out the lifeblood of the German people, destroying German businesses, plotting to take their land and would not be satisfied until they had toppled the good Germans altogether. He worked hard to claim the mantle of German patriotism while otherizing the Jews as an ever greater looming threat to the German Nation. That is how he set it up before he began the extermination.

  16. After reading your article and watching furher Biden’s “speech”, I see how he has set us up. After his regime, quietly or not so quietly, continues to harass the conservatives which he as labeled as MAGA Republican extremists, and they start/continue to visibly resist, he can point the finger at us telling the leftists of our country, “See! What did I tell you?”. This will then raise the frenzy against us more … again and again. But, I am not disheartened. During the Covid lockdown and mask mandate in our state, the local sheriff’s office refused to enforce the lockdown/mandates. That gave me hope. I pray that other law enforcement personnel around the country will also rise up against this tyranny. Once the visible resistance starts, as you have said, it will give courage to others to resist…. those who want to resist but just need a little nudge. It seems that one of the keys is letting the news get out about this resistance …. to give hope and courage to others.

On another positive note: during a speech by Kari Lake from Arizona, a reporter asked her about the false claims conservatives are making about the 2020 election. Her response (roughly one minute long) is stellar.

  20. One Catholic news agency in Poland, supposedly based on some leaks from Vatican, is suggesting this morning that Cardinal Burke might succeed Pope Francis…

Are there enough “conservative” cardinals to make such a choice?

    1. Well, Pawel, I have watched the speculation in Catholic media on who the next Pope will be all my life. The only thing that has been consistent is that they are always wrong in their public speculations.

      1. Well, currently 83 out of 132 cardinals are consecrated by Pope Francis, so my hope is that following the worldly trends of the critical race theories, those cardinals will decide to elect a black pope from Africa ( and shrewd “conservative” cardinals could push such an idea so perhaps those “liberal” ones would fear to be labeled racist ) … where on that continent actually there are I think only “conservative” cardinals lol. So with the current squad, Africa seems to be our best shot for a decent pope.

        1. Oh Pawel, I would love to see a particular African Cardinal rise to the papacy. That said, I want what God wants and no matter what happens, easy or hard, He has a Plan drawn from Thoughts and Imagination so far above and beyond what we could ever think of or imagine. 🙂

    2. There’s an old saying in Rome about the Papal elections: “chi entra papa, esce cardinale” i.e. “he who goes in (to the conclave) as Pope, comes out as a Cardinal”.

It doesn’t always work that way, of course, but it does seem to hold true for the last few elections since 1978 which have been surprises, where none of the “favourites” i.e. those predicted and touted by the media and commentariat came out. We all remember the absolute howls from certain quarters on what now seems that very distant time of April 2005. A sweet day, that was 😜

A good reminder that Democrat Party is just one Cog in a Global Left Machine that wants Our Republic to disappear and will try to eliminate any that think otherwise!
