Golden, Colorado – Perhaps the nicest thing about the new reality following the butchery by Hamas in Israel is the moral clarity it brings. If someone openly supports Hamas, calls for a ceasefire (to give Hamas time to reload), or asks me to think about the children Hamas uses as human shields (with no comment about the children Hamas brutally butchered), I know they have joined the satanic hordes. If they talk about settlements, colonizers, or apartheid I know that, at best, they are utterly ignorant of the history of the conflict and choose to be self-righteously mouthy about it. They may find redemption, but it will be hard unless they eschew their arrogant self-regard and both learn something and repent. Most likely, they will be fully sucked into joining the satanic hordes. This has made it quite easy to discern who are among the devil’s troops in government, media, academia and all other institutions. The battle lines are pretty clear. It is bracing to see that the devil’s hordes are, indeed, legion.
But now we have them where we need them – nakedly exposed. Their fig leafs of compassion, care for others, and enlightenment are fully revealed as empty rhetoric. Man, how we have degenerated! The Nazis of the ‘30s and ‘40s tried to hide their atrocities – yet we knew they were evil. The modern Nazis broadcast their atrocities – and their apologists try to justify them, yet we quail at calling them what they are: evil. Pathetically, the modern Nazis call everyone who confronts them “Nazis,” apparently unaware or unconcerned that the original Nazis were deemed evil for the raw butchery they committed. Modern Nazis just use the word as a synonym for “bad” with a little extra emotional punch, while gleefully committing or supporting the very things that gave Nazis their malignant reputation.
It is ugly, but I do like entering the great spiritual battle with the allies of raw evil fully identified and exposed.

The new Speaker of the House is Congressman Mike Johnson of Louisiana. I don’t know much about him, but I do know the New York Times and the establishment media hate him, while AOC and the Squad in Congress absolutely loathe him. That’s good enough for me.
I often say that there is no longer a political solution to the mess we are in – and I mean it. But it is better to have people who are steady and solid leading some things as we plunge headlong off the cliff. If the ship is going down, better to have a captain who knows how to deploy the lifeboats than one who runs around with his hair on fire.

We had a very satisfying Marian Conference in Denver this last weekend. I am a bit ambivalent about conferences. I love the expression of faith they can generate, but I get disturbed when I hear a speaker who is so enthused about his subject he abandons his mooring in Scripture and the Magisterium. Frankly, most conferences have one or two of those. At this conference, every speaker was solidly grounded in Scripture and the Magisterium.
Fr. Daniel Rehill, an exorcist Priest from Nashville, celebrated the opening Mass of the conference. I was delighted to see him. I have now given talks in every state in the continental US except for Utah. The number is somewhere around 400. But Fr. Dan holds pride of place as host of the very first talk I ever gave in my now-extensive missionary journeys.
I was a little nervous. When I first met him, he was not an exorcist Priest. I am friends with a few such Priests, but most of those I know are very low-key. I have been dismayed over the years listening to publicly identified exorcist Priests. All too often they are obviously more familiar with the theory of the subject than the reality. All too often they succumb to the temptation to dismiss anything they don’t like as demonic. All too often they like to give laundry lists of things that are demonically inspired, lists that include a host of perfectly mundane items. The truth is the devil doesn’t care how you mischaracterize him. Whether you imagine him as so powerful that everything is satanic or as so mundane that nothing is satanic, the satan is pleased – for both mischaracterizations diminish your ability to discern his influence.
Most importantly, both mischaracterizations take your focus off of Christ and onto how you can deal with the devil. That is what he wants. The devil is utterly powerless before Christ. Those who are grounded in and hold fast to Christ at every moment have nothing whatsoever to fear from him BUT the devil is brilliant at finding ways to get you to take your focus off of Christ.
One of the most fruitful ways the devil has in these times of getting people to turn loose of Christ is to convince them that they are great demon-slayers. Oh, the malevolent mirth he gets from pretending to cower before fools who think he fears them as they exalt themselves in their own minds! I know of no one who has ever claimed to be able to handle a demon who was not shortly thereafter made a tool of the devil – but I know more than a few who have. It is why I am dubious about many spiritual warfare classes. The more people focus on details of how to fight demons, the more likely they are to rely on their own, rather than Christ’s, power. If they do, they are lost. So if an exorcist or spiritual deliverance minister does anything other than start, finish, and emphasize throughout that the only way to resist the devil is to stay focused on Christ and call on His power, I think they do far more damage than good. Trying to teach someone how to fight the devil is like trying to teach a mouse how to fight a tiger. That tiger is less than a mite to the majestic Christ, though – and He loves us. The only acceptable strategies are how to keep hold of Christ during the devil’s powerful attacks to trick us to let loose of Him.
One of my favorite sayings on the subject is from St. Josemaria Escriva. I have to paraphrase, as I don’t have the quote in front of me: “Do not be such a coward as to fight the devil; have the courage to flee from him.”
I occasionally get asked about the late Fr. Malachi Martin, an exorcist who I much admired. Fr. Malachi had both deep, powerful insight about the faith – and occasionally wandered off into some eccentric, paranoid fantasies of analysis. Spend as long dealing as intensely with the devil as Fr. Malachi did and you will bear the scars of battle attesting to it. But only a fool would fail to seriously contemplate Fr. Malachi’s teachings just because of his more than occasional flights of fancy. Even the holiest of men will bear damage from dealing with the devil regularly.
I was delighted that Fr. Dan was measured, solid, and steady, without the unseemly enthusiasm that make so many suspect to me. This is what I had hoped – and prayerfully expected – for Fr. Dan is a straightforward man of plain sense. My favorite moment came when he answered a question from a lady asking how a Priest discerns a vocation to be an exorcist. He replied that that was simple: “if you want to be an exorcist, you shouldn’t be one.” That call comes from the Bishop – and a wise Bishop seeks men who are deeply grounded in the faith, the Magisterium and a deep pastoral love for the people of God.
There are now two public exorcist Priests I have much regard for. There is Fr. Dan Rehill who has been a friend for eight years. And, though I once was dismissive of him, I have a steadily growing regard for Fr. Chad Ripperger of the Archdiocese of Denver. Fr. Chad is an amazing fellow to me because, at a time when many otherwise reliable voices are growing more panicky and unsettled, he gets more solid and steady every year. There are probably some others: I tend to shy away from exorcists just as as I shy away from mystics, not wanting to lose my focus or get caught up in useless disputes.
Fr. Dan has a regular podcast on Radio Maria every week in which he discusses a variety of timely topics, bringing his plain, candid sense to bear.
Another mass shooting, this time in Lewiston, Maine. It isn’t going to stop. In a post-Christian world this is one of the symptoms of the instability and despair that comes from elites declaring that life has no meaning, save the quest for power, and that there is no God but government. A nihilistic, predatory philosophy bears nihilistic, predatory fruit as the powerless and despairing seize it in the only way our dark culture cannot stop.
I do not believe these shooting are false flags, but I have come to believe that they are not a top priority for government and elitists who decry them, but use them as an excuse to call for disarming more victims. The suspect in this shooting, Robert Card, was known to law enforcement, had made threats of mass shooting before, and had been held in mental institutions. If the guns were legally obtained, why had they not been seized? That IS the law in the case of people who have made credible threats and been held in mental hospitals. Whether they were legally obtained or not, why would the elites who have taken over the American system seek to disarm ordinary people who are the victims that the same elites regularly unleash on us and do not take seriously in the first place? We have God with us if we call on Him, but when it comes to the help of the formal social institutions we once built while honoring God, we are on our own. At best, those institutions don’t notice us. When they do, they usually prey on us.
Don’t be bitter, but by all means cling to your guns and religion, for in this brave new world wrought by the vision of the anointed, that is all you have.

I get being ignorant. There’s plenty for me to learn til the day I die and beyond. But that hideous double down pride which refuses correction and becoming enlightened about reality sucks the life out of the arrogant one and the world around that one. Charlie- I fully agree that Israel has a right to defend itself and that Hamas is an agent of evil. What has happened in these attacks is objectively hideous. However, what do we make of reports that the Israelis had advance knowledge of the attack? The Egyptians are on record as having warned them beforehand, and are we truly to believe that the CIA, Mossad, and any number of other cooperative intelligence agencies didn’t have any idea Hamas was planning this and had communicated about it in advance? The Israeli government clearly did nothing to prevent the attack or to pre-position defensive forces to deal with the threat. It is certainly serendipitous now that they have a “reason” to try to bring an end to Hamas once and for all. However, if the Israeli government knew this was coming and left their civilians at risk so as to have “justification” for their actions now and a basis to seek additional financial support from the US and Europe, there is real culpability there.
Sorry, but I have been stung by the banal manipulations of our government and others walking lock-step with it too many times now to blindly accept their narratives at face value, particularly when common sense suggests there is more to the story than meets the eye. As I said, I don’t subscribe to the notion that Hamas and/or the Palestinians are the victims here or that they are justified, but I wrestle with trusting the Israeli government (and ours) that they were caught with their pants down here. What are your thoughts on this?

I know you have a good heart, Fred, and you are right that gov’t manipulation is a real and frequent thing.
But I am adamantly in opposition to your “common sense” objections for several reasons…
1) When any terrible event happens, people always come up with alternative explanations for it that show shadowy forces manipulating it…and it is almost always complete poppycock. Sometimes entities do try, such as Germany’s killing of a Polish unit to steal their uniforms and then attack a German position to pretend that Poland provoked the attack, but that clumsy fraud was discovered in less than a week. The only modern case I am aware of where they likely did succeed in a false flag for a significant time was the sinking of the USS Maine, likely by Cubans, to draw America into the Spanish American War.
2) People impute almost supernatural power to certain institutions that do not translate into the real world. If I want to deceive a very sensitive intelligence agency, I make sure to start making actions and communications that seem suggestive and keep it up for a long time with nothing happening. The reality is that within a few months, the intelligence agency will start to interpret it as “white noise” and ignoring it. Open the attack with something completely novel without changing the signals traffic an iota and you have a very good chance of accomplishing a sneak attack, even if you can’t sustain it for very long. That is exactly what happened here.
3) After America’s entry into WWII, many conspiracists said that America had advance warning of Pearl Harbor. Turns out that was true – in a way. America had several hundred warnings of improbably dire events in the week before Pearl Harbor, one of them being what actually happened. Had we reacted boldly to every dire warning we might well have been worse off than Pearl Harbor. Don’t you know that Israel gets a dozen dire warnings of imminent attack every day? What this mainly does is give bad actors a plausible reason to say I told you so in order to deflect attention from themselves.
4) Radical Islam has fully revealed itself – and its terror “alliance” with left-wing politics around the globe. It is a cancer that must be cut out – and I will not be duped by any of the flood of propaganda coming from people who specialize in that to justify their atrocities.
5) Perhaps the anguish and fury on Israeli officials faces in the aftermath of this was put on. I do not believe so. I think the anguish was because of what happened AND because they did know that eventually something like this would happen, despite all the kumbayah mewlings of globalist naifs…and a real anger that it took something like this for the globalists to realize there was an existential problem here. Even now, too many in officialdom still think Israel should just take it. And, of course, Biden responds by asking for “proportionality” and asking for $100 million in relief – for the Palestinians.
I have been expecting this moment for a very long time. For Hamas – and radical Islam itself – it is unconditional surrender or destruction. I will not be deterred from that course. I pray for conversion. Otherwise, I am utterly remorseless in my determination that it can only be unconditional surrender or destruction. Since I am not in charge, that may not happen. If it does not, it will only be prelude to more atrocities.

Charlie, I’ve been on-board for *years* for taking out Radical Islam, and I am not at all happy about what Hamas “soldiers” did on Oct 7. Justice is needed, and after all these years I can understand the Israeli impulse to go all out against Hamas.
However, I have a problem. In the US I believe elements of the US government and some corporations *knowingly* used their power over the healthcare system and the vaxxxines to commit mass murder against US citizens, and for that reason I utterly reject our government and believe that if anyone supports that government in the next election, they become complicit in that murder. I have reason to believe the same is true of either some elements of the Israeli government or of the government itself. They signed a secret agreement with Pfizer, tyrannically mandated that everyone get vaxxxed at least twice and often more, and have systematically suppressed information about the bad results.
Either the Israeli government is culpable, like the Biden Administration et al, of mass murder against its citizens, or it is utterly lacking in discernment and even a modicum of institutional awareness and intelligence.
Over the past several years, I have learned to separate governments and their elites from their populations. 40% of the Gazan population is not supporting Hamas, 50% of that population is children. The Israelis appear to be doing something strategically sensible by suppressing or attacking possible reinforcement avenues in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, and Egypt is locking the Gazans in and likely will not be an avenue of attack on Israel once Israel clears the decks enough to go into Gaza in force.
My concern is simply this. War is supposed to be waged with care not to attack civilians (unnecessarily) and with care for POWs. Horrific acts of slaughter and desecration against the Israeli population on Oct 7, resulting in about 1,000 dead (as far as I know) do not justify in my mind the ongoing razing of large portions of the Gaza Strip and the killing of several times as many Gazans as that 1,000 killed on Oct 7 by Hamas, before the main Israeli forces even go in to do whatever is planned.
Indiscriminate and heinous slaughter of 1,000 Israelis does not in my mind justify Indiscriminate killing of far large numbers of Gazans in what appears to be a possibly indiscriminate leveling of Gaza yet to come.
Which brings me to a final point. As the Fourth Turning and Generations books penned by William Strauss and Neil Howe demonstrated repeatedly, after an existential war is fought, there are several decades of poorly fought and limited wars until everyone gets fed up and the Boomer Generation is back in charge. Then something occurs to cause tempers to flare, and people decide enough is enough, and they go at each other hammer and tongs in another existential war.
The Oct 7 invasion of Israel appears to be capable of flipping everyone’s switches so we go, screw it, let’s do this right and stop limiting our responses, and of course, the result is unlimited, existential war.
I do not in any way support Hamas or radical islam and never have. However, as with Covid and the sudden switch in people’s views, I am very concerned that we are experiencing another such mental, emotional and moral switch in large-scale behavior, such that Israel is in the right and has every right to level Gaza, when I know they are guilty of at least negligent homicide against many members of their own population and may possibly be guilty of deliberate mass murder.
I cannot give such an entity my moral support when they show every indication of continuing their execrable behavior, this time by being indiscriminate in their handling of the Gaza Strip.
Yes, I see the need for the Israeli people to defend themselves, but I also don’t see how I can be supportive of such a government as Israel has at this moment, and I do not trust them to handle this response to Hamas. They are being unnecessarily incendiary here, in my opinion. I feel sad for the 40% of Gazans who do not support Hamas while I wholeheartedly reject Hamas and those who support it. I feel support for the Israeli people who have been repeatedly attacked (recently by their own government!), but I cannot bring myself to support their government. I hope this government will fall before a lot of people get killed. I have heard that hundreds of thousands of Israelis were protesting in the streets for months against their government before the Hamas attack. I hope that does not change – they need a new government.
So I’m having a lot of trouble sorting out all my concerns here. I feel that unquestioning support for the Israeli government at this time is a position lacking in discernment, and I do not feel that the Hamas attack justifies existential war for the rest of us or even against Gaza. I would hope that everyone can dial things down here and find other ways to handle this.

Steve, this is a good argument. I find myself on the fence. Hamas is evil, but what of those Muslims who do not want to live in violence? Israel is still God’s people, but what of the atheists? It’s a difficult call for me. I hope and pray for an answer. God’s will be done.

Steve, I appreciate your concern about the heavy-handed and punitive approach to Covid – which almost all western governments in the world (save perhaps Switzerland) committed to. And I appreciate that you did a ton right here on this site to help people deal with both Covid and the madness of the time. You were critical to CORAC’s very good approach to Covid and mandates.
Yet, you have to take care. If you drift into refusing to accept the possible good someone might do because of the serious bad they did do on another thing, who would be able to stand?
As for Israel’s “indiscriminate” attacks on Gaza, I don’t believe there are such things. Israel has given warning to evacuate. Hamas is holding its own people captive because it wants casualties for its propaganda purposes. Those are two very different approaches.
I know that all my life Israel has been in a constant defensive posture before Islamic Arabs, having prevailed in two Arabic attempts to exterminate them entirely just in that lifetime. As I have said before, I do not much believe in proportionality. If you are the aggressor, you take your chances – and I have very little sympathy with what happens to habitual aggressors. I DO believe in unconditional surrender or destruction. I think it saves the most lives in the long term.
I think our modern sensibilities are seriously warped – and have become so just in the last 80 years. A lot of innocent Germans suffered during WWII. But the truth is a lot of those innocent Germans also enabled the atrocities by their silence, so though they did not participate in the atrocities, they were nonetheless complicit. The even larger truth is that we, in most of the west, understood that Hitler’s style of fascism was a great evil that must be eradicated. And we stayed with it. After the battle, we were kind and humane – in fact rebuilding even those societies that had been our enemies. But we knew if we did not act with fortitude and vigor, there would be no room for kindness and humanity left in the world. So we did.
Many get worked up about some of the brutality involved in the Crusades. I would no more apologize for the Crusades than I would apologize for defeating Hitler. Islam had launched a war to exterminate Christianity altogether. My main complaint about the Crusades is that they started so late. By the time Christianity responded to the Islamic war of extinction, Islam already had taken over the entire Iberian Peninsula and big chunks of both France and Italy. Were there horrors that came from our side? There were. And yet, at the center of it, if we did not push on indomitably, Christianity would have ceased to exist.
A key point here is that some battles are necessarily existential – and we have gotten to the point where we think nothing is existential. That is a formula for existential extinction. Study the Koran and Islamic history. They ARE on a course of eradicating everything that is not Muslim by force. Theologically, in Islam, there is no peace so long as there are infidels alive, only strategic cease-fires to regroup.
Finally, I have been waiting for this since the Revelation 12 Sign back in 2017. A lot of chaos had to ensue, that all would be revealed. But eventually, there had to come a moment where the battle lines were solidly formed. While many Arabs do indeed want to ignore the call to warfare inherent in the Koran, there had to come a moment where they had to fully grapple with the internal contradictions of Islam – and choose where they stand. In the west, there had to come a moment where the corrosive ideologies (mainly, but not exclusively, of the left) had to be fully revealed and their adherents forced to choose where they stand. This IS the first open skirmish of that genuinely existential battle. Do I think it is going to be all sweetness and light from our side? Hardly, though I wish that it were.
I have often said people must choose or perish. I don’t think people have really understood the stark nature of that. Innocents will perish in this battle…but those who are substantially innocent will not perish to eternal life. This is the beginning of the time when all must choose or perish. I will not allow the faults of our own side to deter me from pressing forward to eradicate that existential evil from the face of the earth, even as I endeavor to get people to purify their hearts and intentions. And after the battle, I will push to give succor to the wounded. I am dead serious when I say Armageddon has begun.

“Armageddon has begun.” During the middle of this Summer, my workers complained they were losing weight, so I my doubled my portions for the menfolk. Is it time to go back to stricter rationing?
(When the lockdowns began, I announced that this might be the beginning of Armageddon, so began rationing. My rationing is 1/4 lb meat for each person each day. Peanut butter, eggs, and vegetables we grow are unlimited.) Unfortunately none of us fat folks are losing weight, only the skinny workers, even on the same rations.
Meanwhile, beef and pork is still on sale weekly, so I am still canning, presuming it will only get higher in price.
We were warned that this Armageddon will arrive slowly, then with a bang. Was that you, Charlie, who said that? Is this the bang?
Will it be the draft? I have 7 grandsons of draft age. Scary.

Steve has made some good points and I would echo that giving evacuation orders while destroying exit roads, cutting off water, food, and electricity are not a humane excuse to blanket bomb such a tightly clustered population. Hamas is evil yes, but Israel is no saint either (historically speaking). I know you mentioned the lead up to the Spanish American War- but the Gulf of Tonkin that led us to Vietnam was also applicable, as was 9/11 to lead to invading Iraq where hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed. The ‘good guy’ support has often led to atrocities that people weren’t allowed to question at the time. Covid is another example. I think that blanket murdering of innocents applies here. And yea it is blanketed because these people are told to leave, but not given ability to really do so.
It would be a betrayal of conscience to just go along and give Israel a blank moral check to do as it wills, just like any other government these days.

The good news is that my now-99yo mother is doing pretty well these days and could live several more years, and because of this, I worked with my siblings over the past few months to purchase her condominium, which is near the facility where she now lives. As of two weeks ago, I own my own home, something I have never done before in my entire life. The bad news is that I now have a lot of work here at home and have many personal projects I have to fit in around my mother’s ongoing care. I will be continuing to keep up on everyone’s comments here and will remain available if someone needs my help, but I will be, shall we say, less controversial in the future. 🙂
Charlie, it is impossible for me to come back and dispute your statements that Armageddon has begun, nor do I want to. I don’t have your skillset nor your secular and spiritual knowledge. I honor you for all the good you have done and will do, and I applaud so many of the actions and teachings you have provided to us over the years. However, I was not born yesterday. I’m going to play the Age Card on you and remind you that I am several years older than you, and you should honor your elders. 😀 I have my own skills and knowledge you do not have and that don’t apply just to Covid, and I have some questions and concerns about what is happening that I believe are legitimate. I appreciate the way you addressed those concerns in your comment above, but they remain, nonetheless.
I think there is a very good chance that people around the world will not be able or willing to make the fine moral distinctions you and we here at ASoH are capable of making. I believe that the world will not lend any credence to brochures or to Israeli claims that Hamas hides behind its civilian population (though they do). Instead, the people of the world will sooner or later see Israeli military efforts to take down Hamas as overly brutal, and even the Israeli population may end up agreeing with them. Such urban warfare is incredibly brutal – and brutalizing – even when done very carefully. I believe there is a good chance that the Israeli government will collapse at some point, quite possibly brought down by the Israeli people themselves who have (in my opinion) entirely legitimate reasons for such an act.
I think, as part of Armageddon, that we need to pursue corruption and psychopathy and Evil wherever they exist and regardless of whose sacred ox gets gored in the process. It’s time for total war against the satan, his demonic legions, and his human minions (witting or otherwise), and we humans need to step up and do our part as best we can, even if our part is simply caring for our families and praying. The ultimate result of Armageddon will be good, but getting to that end will not be fun, it will not be clean, and often to our shock and dismay, many people and institutions we now think are good will be exposed as evil in the process.
In my opinion, Armageddon is starting without adequate justification. I believe the Israeli decision to flatten Gaza will produce massive negative blowback, is already fostering a kind of ‘open-season’ retaliation against Jews worldwide, will eventually cause the Israeli government to collapse, and ultimately leave the people of Israel significantly more exposed and at risk than if they had simply responded in a very targeted, even low-key manner to the October 7 massacre, just as we in the US are now far worse off than we would be if we had done very little in response to our 9/11.
Events now in train will prove us right or wrong, and probably sooner than later. I’m willing to wait to see their verdict.

In this war, can any “good” come from it?
God’s ways are not our ways. How many times in the Old AND New Testaments did God allow Isreal’s enemies to capture and kill His chosen people and then turn around and destroy these enemies. And how many times did God allow enemies to persecute the new Christians? There are even a few time God’s hand did the killing! And how many times in the last 2K years has this reoccurred both for Jews and christians? To avail it to ” bad decisions” doesn’t quite reach the heart of the matter. We are told that we wrestle with demons…period and obviously those influenced by them (their hands and feet). God keeps a “hedge of protection” around his chosen ones but only as long as they remain in His grace but even they can suffer consequences from those sinners around them once societal sin becomes so entrenched that a purging must come to save the whole body.
The West has lost their way and as Edmund Burke said: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” The Bible has said this many times in many ways.
Even the devil himself declared that if there were two Curé of Ars in the world that he would be powerless!
Our Lady declared devotion to Her Immaculate Heart would stop wars and the destruction of Countries and countless lives and bring peace to the world.
But we do not have a John Vienny nore a universal church dedicated to the rosary and the First Saturday devotions.
So the consequences of “if men do not stop offending God…” are those spoken at Fatima and Akita by Our Lady.
There is no justification for any atrocities from Hamas or Isreal. They are the punishments prophecied by Mary from God because of our failure to obey Him.

Gosh get well soon Charlie and get on an antibiotic if you need it pronto!!! My last virus 🦠 was tricky because for two weeks i mistook it for allergies. My oxygen was running 94/95. I actually thought I was going into congestive heart failure or something and was about to call my dr. I couldn’t stop yawning 🥱 but I never felt congested or anything. As a last ditch effort I popped two zpak and I kid you not within two hours I could take a deep breath. Oxygen went right back up to 98! Bottom line…. Don’t wait two weeks like I did! It was horrible trying to act like I was A OK and feeling like I was going to collapse 😂😂😂

When people were asking how David was doing, it irritated me not to be able to say that this was coming and only speak in vague terms that things were better than they looked. But folks, things are VERY bad for Planned Parenthood right now. PP may win a skirmish here and there, but their position is genuinely dire. The trial for Medicare fraud in Texas, alone, may bankrupt this corrupt entity.
David has built his position brick by brick and now it is a very strong wall. PP is flailing and, behind the scenes, much is being done to give them plenty more to flail about.

I was raised in a church that believed that there was a devil on every doorknob, and if you had the sniffles it was a satantic attack. Heaven forbid someone have cancer, or get divorced, then they were wondering what secret sin you harbored. It’s been eye opening for me to realize that EVERY denomination has its population that will get twitterpated over whatever an exorcist type has to say as if they wrote the bible themselves… They’re more of a fundamentalist type and normally frightened, and if ever there was a time for being frightened, it’s now, I get it. So thank you for addressing it. Hopefully it will calm down a bit.

Yes, Linda, I’ve heard about these new GMO-like ingredients. Since I never eat anything GMO’d if I can avoid it and generally eat items with natural ingredients, I’ve not yet seen these new items myself. I know little about them, but some people online have said they are derivatives from insects. FWIW.

That is pretty much how I discern tjings politically. If those who I consider my enemies (Biden, Trudeau, ect) aprouve of something then I assume it is not good. If they don’t like something, then I assume it is good. So the first week after the Hamas attack when they were all defending Israel and denouncing Hamas, I was wondering if I missed something or I lacked info about something as I don’t want to be on their team. Now that time has passed and they are criticizing Israel, I’m more comfortable.

Thank you very much for this website. I have been reading it for years. It was very helpful during COVID. I lost my job of 22 years with the government (I am from Canada) for not getting vaccinated, but they brought me back after 8 weeks – they reversed their vaccination policy for some reason.
When Israel was attacked, I found it hard to believe that with their intelligence and their strong military, that this could happen. I became more concerned when I saw how eager the US was willing to engage in this war. What I saw in Canadian mainstream news was the repeating of what Hamas did – the demonic details of the killing. They kept repeating it and it reminded me of what the news did during COVID – the kept repeating how the elderly were dying at the retirement homes – they made it emotional. Similarly, the Canadian news keep repeating what Hamas did – pulling at the emotions of the people.
As others have stated, I am having trouble accepting the narrative from mainstream news. I know Charlie that you responded to Steve “If you drift into refusing to accept the possible good someone might do because of the serious bad they did do on another thing, who would be able to stand.” I agree with this, except that I think the good could come if there was repentance first – for the bad previously done. I have not seen that with Israel and what they did with respect to COVID, or the US for that matter as they are still pushing the booster shots.
But I don’t know, I am new at this – it is just my gutt instinct that is having trouble with this one. Thanks again to you Charlie and everyone else for this insightful and helpful website.
