On this page, readers are invited to send in their prayer requests. I will leave requests up for nine days. All readers are invited to pray for those who ask for it and any who want to offer a word of comfort are invited to do so, as well. May we work together to mutually build each other up and support each other in times of trial.
Prayers needed for my granddaughter who is now living with me. I believe she is about to make a decision that is not a good one. Please pray that the Holy Spirit guide her to the right path for her life. Also that she continue to get new clients for her new counseling business. She is a sweet and wonderful woman and I believe will do well, just needs some prayers right now. Thank you so much. Your prayers mean so much to me. I had asked for prayers earlier this year for my health. I found a new Dr. and he found the problem immediately and I am now doing great. Thank you all so much.

A college friend of ours just called us today to say hello, catch up and ask us for prayers for himself. He is a person who’d give you the shirt off his back, a super hard worker, a loyal friend. There are many very complicated and depressing personal situations he is dealing with. Please, can you all pray for Gerry. Thank you, very much.

TY so much. Another mutual childhood friend of mine (and Gerry’s) just lost her little brother a couple of weeks ago. She had her Mom and brother. Their Dad, a Korean War vet., died when the kids were wee toddlers, so her Mom was a single Mom (Korean) and sent them to a private Catholic school, raised them herself. It wasn’t an easy life.
Anyways, my friend devotedly cared for her Mom who passed away a few years ago. Her brother struggled with significant mental health issues and also heart disease, a life of much tragedy and pain. +May perpetual light shine upon Mark, and may he and all the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.+
Gerry called us to let us know about his death. Gerry is a huge extrovert. It would not surprise me if he knows someone you know, LOL. He is super upbeat, positive, can-do personality, hugely talented with all things construction, real estate, sales, etc. He asked for prayers because his family disowned him and he is clinically depressed–getting help.
I don’t know how to adequately pray for him, it is overwhelming, but I know God knows and I am certain God will here our prayers and prevail here.

Joining you in prayer, Littlelight,
For your good friend Gerry and all his intentions and for your other mutual friend and all her intentions, and for the repose of the soul of Mark.
One way you can pray, Littlelight, is when you go to Mass (or watch Mass online), you can invite the guardian angels of everyone involved to attend that Mass so that all the guardian angels together there can pray for the peace, healing, forgiveness, strength, consolation, conversion and salvation of everyone involved, in accordance with God’s Holy Will. This prayer can help repair families … it may take years and you may see baby steps of improvement, but it can indeed help.

Dear Noreen, I am so sorry to read this because I am a mother of a JD. My son was diagnosed at 12, he’s 35 now. But there is hope. The JD community has worked very hard on devices that are miracles. My son started with needles for years and 2 insulins – one long acting and one short acting and 5 AM lows. The new devices have change everything. Three, four and five needles a day have been replaced by pumps or pods and one needle prick every 3 or 4th day. And blood sugar pricks 3 to 4 times a day have been replaced with Continuous Glucose Monitors and one prick every @10 to 12 days. No more mental calculations of carbs as CGM’s do most of the work so much more even blood sugars happen.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of a dear woman, Denise, who I just learned died yesterday, perhaps just a week before her husband, Field, may be released from captivity as a political prisoner, here in the U.S. since November of 2019. It is really a crush to my heart, because they are/were good, loving and God-fearing people that were literally giving all they had to serve God! I am tearful as I type this. Before his false arrest, I was on poised to work with/for them at a Texas holistic healing ranch and provide care for veterans and victims of human trafficking. God’s ways are not our ways. He has other and better plans! May we just have the grace to endure what comes our way, always.

Dear Littlelight, the grieving/mourning process is what it is… individual to each one even as there are commonalities for all. There’s just no rushing it and I’m keeping you in prayer as you share with us. Having experienced grief and mourning, including complicated grief with a few dear ones, I do know – with the most tender touch that electronic communication can convey – that it’s worthy to ponder – in an attitude of gentle curiosity – if we ourselves are holding back the process. When we may notice such as this, it’s always good to reach out to someone who can facilitate a process of moving us through what is, often, SO hard to navigate. I’m convinced the greatest joy for those who have gone before us is to see us living in God’s Peace until we meet those dear ones face to face again. The veil that separates us is mica-thin. A delightful book, which was suddenly given to me about a month after my husband died, was a joyful one entitled: Climbing the Mountain. I loved how Our Lord allowed Anne a Lay Apostle some vignette views into the goings on in Heaven. After having read again everything I could find concerning the Communion of Saints and knowing that the relationship never ends, but changes dramatically, it was delightful to discover a wee peek into Heaven and how some spend some of their time there. God bless you, LL, and your journey. 🙂

I got the book yesterday and just finished reading it (mostly).
All of DFOT’s/Anne’s books are life-changing, healing in profound ways and this is no exception. I found myself wishing that every human alive on the planet could have a copy of this book and understand the truths taught about love, suffering, forgiveness and the awesome reality of how much Jesus loves us! I found myself wishing that I could understand these things so well they become part of the fabric of who I am.
Charlie’s sharing on how we are to treat all as brothers while remaining firm came to mind as I was reading this book. Still, I find myself struggling to internalize the knowledge. It is almost like—-grasping at words here—–I read it, understand it intellectually, but have no idea of how to DO it. The concepts are that alien to me (or less so since reading DFOT’s). This book and all the books engender such outrageous Hope!
Since LiamXOXO’s death, I’ve come to “see” that very few Catholics or Christians truly believe in what our faith teaches—unfathomable mercy for All. I went to a Catholic parochial school, and the idea of Mercy and a Merciful God was always somehow diminished into a kind of new age feel-good vomit that rang so hollow and made Our Lord into an emasculated man. There was that and the opposite of that, a hell-fire/brimstone pharisee type faith that lacked genuine charity and compassion.
In real life I have the challenge of loving/forgiving a person who deeply betrayed me, over this loss. The sharpest, most confusing part is they loudly express solidarity with God, but offer little true comfort or mercy for the tragedy we must carry. And say things like: “I think you are putting the most optimistic interpretation on this!” It truly puzzles me how what Anne teaches about Our Lord, what Charlie teaches about Our Lord, what you teach about Our Lord so few understand?!
So much work to do! Starting with myself!
TY, Beckita!

Starlette, I will also continue to pray for your family. If you have not already done so, you can take up to 100,000 IUs of Vitamin D3 a day until you start feeling better (there is no risk of overdose if you taper off as you feel better). C, quercetin, zinc up to 150 mg a day.
The key isn’t to avoid getting ill. The key is to avoid going into Phase 2 where the viral population is minimal but inflammation starts rising higher and higher. Vitamin D3 will help stabilize your immune system so it does not go into Phase 2. Phase 1 is like a bad flu but then you get better and are fine, with little damage, if any. It isn’t something in itself to be worried about. So take the D3 and other stuff now, and if you start going into Phase 2 with lung issues, take lots of anti-inflammatories.
If you start having breathing issues, you will need to go to a hospital, so call around now and ask each local hospital how they treat Covid patients in Phase 2. If they say that they treat them aggressively with steroids, Vitamin C, D3, etc., go to that hospital if you need it. If they say they follow the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance protocol developed by Dr Paul Marik’s group, choose them.
Avoid a hospital that says they don’t do anything but palliative care or send you home with Tylenol. Phase 2 is an emergency no different from a heart attack or stroke or severe illness and must be treated aggressively. So figure out your hospital choice now while you can, just in case.
Meanwhile, take the D3, don’t take Tylenol or aspirin unless your fever goes over 103 (fever at this stage is good). Gargle with hot salt water, or drink hot tea, or nebulize 0.5% H2O2 if you have the supplies for that, to rapidly reduce the virus population in your throat and if possible your sinuses. And rest. As long as you are in Phase 1, you have little to worry about.

He seemed to be developing symptoms and then they went away and he tested negative. He doesn’t usually take supplements regularly but he’s motivated now. Thanks again for your prayer and for sharing your book with all…thanks to that I already had supplies and was taking the preventative amounts. God bless!

Oh, I am so glad to hear that about you and your husband. I’m not convinced we won’t have other diseases around over the next few years, so keep taking the basics and testing your Vitamin D3 levels regularly. I did a test recently and found my D3 level is 71, which is right in the middle of the optimal range of 60-80. Now to keep it there – it’s important to test every 3-4 months, so I will test again in March or April. Get and stay well, Starlette. 🙂

An update on prayer request for Marcia. Because of the cardiac arrest before the planned cancer surgery and a bad response to a radiation trial, the doctors feel they are out of medical options and have placed her in a hospice program. The pain is managed better but is a trade off for her with alertness. Nausea is keeping her from eating. Praying that she is able to hang on to be with her son who is coming next week. Marcia is trusting the Lord in all this. Thank you all for praying for her.

Thank you all for your prayers. I am about 60% better. My husband Bob had a 2nd negative COVID test
But he is still signed up for his 1st vaccination Monday. I am really concerned about the effect on him. It’s hard because everyone we know is rushing to be vaccinated with no questions. Please pray that God guides and protects him.

Please offer a prayer for the repose of the soul of Gloria, my dear sister/brother-in-law’s mother. She was admitted into the hospital Monday with pneumonia and died yesterday morning. She was 91 years old and she was as kind as kind can be and always the life of the party at family gatherings. She will be greatly missed. Thank you, sincerely for your prayers. ❤

Prayer warriors, if you would be so kind to include my son, L, and his fiancee, M in your petitions for reversion and conversion. She was raised as ‘none’ and for them to marry in the church; and for her estranged father to reconcile with his family. Mother Mary, please extend your signal graces to CORAC families and esp. any wayward children. Grateful thanks.

The only days that Father was unable to offer Mass were those in which he was hospitalized, Maggie. Even when we were miserable at home, we cleared the coffee table and transformed it to be our altar as we sat during the whole Mass. It is never a burden for him to offer Mass. It is his joy of all joys to do so. 😇🥰🔥

There are so many deadly serious prayer needs presented in our own CORAC/ASOH personal families. Known situations our brothers and sisters have publicly Begged prayers for. I would hazard a guess that this is the tip of the iceberg—-there are many more silent readers also begging prayers for the wounded loved ones in their lives.
Let us join forces, entrusting to Virgin Most Powerful, Stella Maris our wounded loved ones, our families, our hopes and dreams. Let us not exclude any precious soul.
With Our Lady’s Intercession to our Awesome Triune God, we have zero doubt that “All will be well, All will be well and All manner of thing shall be well” Dame Jillian of Norwich. No matter the darkness we see and live, this is NOT the final reality. By the grace of God, we will have all the strength and graces we need to stand at the foot of the cross holding our loved ones for as long as Our Dear Lord desires this. Patience wins all for God (?St. Therese of Avila?)
+My Jesus, I Trust You+ (St. Faustina)
God bless us, Everyone!

Thanks everyone for praying. I am still having a rough time with this disease – I did go through America’s Front Line doctors and will receive Ivermectin by mail tomorrow. While I’m feeling so sick my daughter Christa is totally falling apart with traumatic flash back memories of abuse and wanting us to take our granddaughter Melody because she can’t handle her while she’s so upset. We’ve been the stable force in Melody’s life and I grieve that we can’t be that right now until I recover. We know Melody’s home situation is not very emotionally safe and there’s noone else but us to take her.
Please pray we are able to help Christa find resources for healing and that Melody is protected
from harm and that I can recover and care for her again.

Hello to all. I’m praying for all your intentions and adding one of my own. My two daughters, despite the true science that I tried to share with them, took the jab. Now my husband, who has been suffering all sorts of heart problems especially for the last six months, is going to drive 4+ hours to get the cov*d jab. The latest behind the scenes reporting shows that those with heart trouble are especially vulnerable to ill effects and death from the jab. I asked him to watch some videos about this but he refused. He truly thinks he is doing what is best for himself and his family. He has become the prominent male figure for two of our grandchildren since our son-in-law died of cancer. He is determined to “be around” for them. Unfortunately his way of trying to do this is to suddenly take every shot and medication recommended. He doesn’t realize that what he is doing will more than likely take time away from him, not add it. As my friend’s little grandson said, “I so sad!”

As many of you know, my beloved home state of Oregon was the first in the country (1990s) to legalize so-called assisted suicide. I was and am not at all happy about that and have felt impelled to speak out on occasion.
Now, someone I know who has a particular kind of cancer (dx six years ago) has been holding that as an option should “quality of life” diminish. This person is an atheist, while respecting my religious calling.
In recent days, the person’s health and strength have been deteriorating, to the point of considering taking the “cocktail.”
My prayer, and I ask you-all to join me in this, is that the Lord would finally reach and would call this person home before the “cocktail” is given.
Hail, Mary, full of grace . . . pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Alright, time to report an Answered Prayer! Are ya ready??? I’m giddy.
Maybe you all remember me asking for guidance and prayers for my 8th grader who desires confirmation? Well, the situation was looking really, really, bad. Home parishes religious ed, worship practices, et al got swallowed, by covid Fear.
I’m bad at words and can’t express to you how the whole situation was looking like impossible. (2 years for confirmation (this would be 1st year)! no organized class! Bad tone in my voice led to bad start with religious ed director, ugh, I apologized and needed to humble myself (sorry! I do your way! I’m bad! Plz. forgive!)
Long story short, bishop gave Fr. permission. Fr. is allowing mass! with music! (and the best part)…..on her 14th Birthday!!

Hello All. I’m again asking for your prayers. I’m in the 9th week after my COVID diagnosis and still struggling with this. I think taking Steve’s recommended supplements kept me from more serious complications. Some symptoms have been diminishing: the fever, chills and nausea but my asthma symptoms are worse and intestinal upset reoccurs plus general malaise. Please pray that the Lord opens the door I need to find healing.
My daughter, Christa, continues to be in constant emotional upset from past traumas she carries
and our granddaughter, Melody, is exhibiting much more difficult behaviors when we have her with us.
I ask your prayers for healing for Christa and Melody.
