Emergency Appeal for Prayer

Dear friends,

I have just been notified that one of my teenage grandsons was shot in the chest today. I know no more right now…but hope to have more information later. I am in rural Arkansas and do not have cell service (but can receive texts). His name is Gabriel and he is my daughter’s son. I should know more tomorrow, but I do not even know if he is alive right now. Please pray for him and for my dear daughter. He is a bit of a wild teen, so I am fearful right now. I will let you know tomorrow as soon as I have details and know his condition.

(Okay, he was shot by a rifle – don’t know the circumstances – and he is in reconstructive heart surgery in Alabama right now. He was conscious and alert on the way to the hospital, so it does not sound as if he is in immediate mortal danger. Again, I will know tomorrow – and I deeply appreciate your prayers. CJ)

  9. In the name of Jesus, declaring that your precious grandson will not die but will live and declare the works of the Lord. Praying the peace of God that surpasses all understanding surrounds your daughter and you Charlie, right now. May the Blessed Mother, who knew family pain on a deep level comfort the entire family. Father God, may they all feel the love of the Holy Spirit.

  15. Im so sorry. What a terrible thing to happen. Life is stunning today, so many crazy things happening everywhere, and then it hits close to home. God be with Gabriel, the angel Gabriel be with him as well, and Our Lady please intercede for him, and for you and your family.
