Pelham, Alabama – For two and a half years I have been working on “Revival,” the CORAC manual and guide to building functioning communities.
Let’s be brutally candid: if the forces fronted for by Kamala Harris had prevailed, civil war would have been quickly in our future. Both Harris and Walz had promised BEFORE the election to gut the 1st and 2nd Amendments, for starters, in their determination to make America into a one-party command state. Ordinary people were not going to allow their children to grow up in a slave state without a fight. What I was working on was a how-to manual to effectively wage and win a counter-revolutionary war with a minimum of violence and shooting, while providing for your family in a suddenly impoverished police state.
Bracing as that was, it was seriously nerve-wracking. I worried that some more excitable types might act precipitously rather than effectively. People who are always beating the drum for active resistance measures generally fall into two categories: those who love to talk tough but run like scalded dogs at the first sign of real danger; and those who are ever eager to make a stupid, futile gesture. The former dramatically outnumber the latter, but the latter do far more damage and can quickly destroy a movement in their zeal to show how macho they are.
Then there were techniques I really did not want to share. I have a raft of unusual techniques I use in serious contests, political or otherwise, that I don’t like to explain to anyone. They are not dishonorable, but they are unique. A few years ago I was going to give a run-down on them to my son, as he is a noble, honorable, and courageous man – and I thought someone should have the portfolio. I got through three before he told me to stop and tell him no more. He said those few I had already told him were unique enough that he thought they would be dangerous in the hands of anyone who was not completely given over to God. They could be used for unsavory means, as well as for good – and he did not want to be tempted. At the time my son was in law enforcement, focused on busting up gangs, among a couple of other priorities.
I’ll give you one very basic example that you might even have already thought of. When trying to get information on an event in an investigative fashion, most people interview principals and try to get them to confirm or refute what they already know. I always did that with a little twist. I would embed an error late into my narrative. The principal who was smugly preparing to tell me, “No comment” would fall all over themselves correcting my error. I never had to go more than three deep before I had a concise, accurate picture of what had happened. It always amused me when people involved would start asking, in amazement, how I had such great sources everywhere – not knowing that, at one time or another, they had been among my sources. I only encountered one person who ever had the discipline not to unknowingly spill her guts when confronted with this technique. I will still include a few of the more basic techniques in the manual, but the more sophisticated and complex stuff is out.
It occurred to me that hostile, aspiring tyrants would also have access to this material – and could use it to their benefit as well as people who were defending their freedom. That was not a huge worry, as it is labor-intensive and requires commitment. Most authoritarians vastly overestimate their own prowess, seek quick gratification, and have little self-discipline or humility. But you do occasionally have an evil genius who catches the right historical wave, such as a Lenin, Mao, or Hitler. That did not disturb me too much, though, because genuinely evil geniuses are like natural disasters: they rise and fall with a certain general predictability.
Since the election I have felt a profound sense of relief, a great weight lifted from my shoulders. I have long believed that, in these times, America was uniquely called to lead the world back to God, paving the way for an unprecedented era of peace, prosperity, and brotherhood under Him. The prospect of having to first fight a pitched battle to win back basic freedoms and re-assert the primacy of the family in America before even beginning that great task was daunting and fraught with peril. Many people, even some prominent traditional liberals, have spoken of how much lighter and more hopeful everything seems since the election passed.
The primary danger now is that people will think that all is saved and we will not have to make our trek to the mountain in Mordor after all. That complacency is why, I believe, God allowed the election to be stolen in 2020 with all the consequences that followed. This is the hour of the ordinary man and we each have the duty to publicly make our stand. Despite having a federal government incoming that is committed to fundamental freedoms, great peril abounds. Much of the world is about to go up in flames – and some of it will. That will have heavy consequences here. The financial system is so deranged and stressed that, despite our best efforts, it is likely to collapse. That train is barreling down the tracks and the odds are not good it will not get us before we can get clear of it. Some areas and states WILL see catastrophic collapse even if we miraculously manage to right the trajectory of the rest of the country in time. We are by no means done with the consequences of our complacency. If we sink back to pre-Covid complacency again (on faith, duty, honor, and responsibility) we will get 2020 and the last four years back on steroids.
With a much lighter heart, I am re-writing much of the manual, taking out the darker and sharper edges. The fundamental thrust of it is still badly needed – forming functional communities where all help each other and contribute what they can. We ARE our brothers’ keepers. The teams that we have initiated on health care, communications, home skills, education and more are vital to recovering our mojo – our individual independence through eager and joyful collaboration with our neighbors rather than depending on the kindness of strangers to just give it to us. Turns out, a lot of those strangers talk kindness but have the dark hearts of vipers. Even with the lifting of the shroud of darkness over us, giving a renewed peek at what we can and should be, our towns, cities, counties and states have given in to a casual authoritarianism that must be put down if we are to fully be a self-governing people once more. In my own home county, you have to make an appointment to see a functionary for routine services, such as license renewal or filing deeds – and none have taken pay cuts or been laid off. Donald Trump and company may successfully mitigate the danger of centralized authoritarianism and officially enforced atheism, but we are infected by thousands of petty tyrants across the land who think having won a local election gives them leave to rule, rather than serve, us. The manual is a sort of spiritual and political Ivermectin, designed and needed to completely rid us of the infection.
I go about my work now with a much lighter heart. The system is designed to preserve the sovereignty of the people under God…and is much needed, but without the darker and sharper elements. If things took a bad turn, I could always re-issue it including those things. It’s already written. I am glad I have had to think seriously about those things. The arrows needed for them are already formed and polished but, thankfully, not needed in the quill just now. I much prefer to have what is needed at hand if necessary than to be caught off guard – and have to make it up as I go along. I will finish the re-write at my son and his family’s home and it will be ready to go before Christmas. I know I have said it was weeks away several times, to my shame, but this rewrite does not involve any elements that trouble my scruples.
We walk together towards the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart with a lighter heart. We have many battles before us, but we can have absolute confidence that if we acknowledge God, take the next right step as best we know how, and be a sign of hope to all those of good heart and good will, we will emerge victorious in each and every one of those battles. Our greatest enemy now is complacency – and the devil whispering in our ear that all is well, go back to sleep.

How is God going to change our hearts and minds in these evil times without some sort of chastisement?
I don’t know. 🤷🏼♀️ So I’m going to continue on in prayer and sacrifice as I did before the election result! Ha!

Don’t feel bad, Linda. Much of the stuff, though usually simple, requires iron discipline. The rest is complex enough that none who picked up on a piece and tried to imitate it got it right.

Yes, we all think that the secular side of things is finally going to settle, and once we get through that stuff, we’ll be fine, right? But none of what has happened so far deals directly with the spiritual side of the Storm. In that respect, though God has helped us get to this point (and many have begun turning back to Him), as far as I can tell, He has not begun to move on His own, nor has the earth gotten fully involved (though strange things are beginning to happen there).
Though I am also greatly heartened by the election result and significant progress since then, the Trumpian Mitigation doesn’t cover God’s and Nature’s sides of the Storm, which are still to play out, I think.
The manual will definitely be needed even if we now see the secular side move decisively to a positive state. We will see!

I think I’m living an example similar to Charlie’s local petty authoritarianism.
In trying to get a Real ID to travel: I was told my birth certificate had a scratch on it that gave concerns for fraud; to get a better certified marriage license proving my name change; to do a retry on my application which if failing the security questions a second time would result in cancellation of application; etc.
At best I thought they were trying to ferret out the illegals. But I’ve been a Citizen for over 70 years and now face this baloney!?
My son will soon go through the security questions with me (ie ‘what color is your Suburu Legacy? My head: which of the two!? Etc)
Might I really have to hire a lawyer for past routine stuff? Or what?
