Our Latest Service: Addresses of US Bishops

Mary Lapchak has prepared and will maintain for all of us an Excel spreadsheet containing address information for all US Bishops.

You can access that information by clicking on the Menu button in the upper right corner of any page on this site and scrolling down the pop-out sidebar until you see the “US BISHOPS CONTACT INFORMATION” section.

If you don’t have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer, then follow the first set of instructions in that sidebar section. Those instructions will tell you how to open the table in a new page in your browser, at which point you can scroll around the table until you find your bishop. The table is sorted by State, so go to the State section for your bishop and then look around for the specific bishop you want to contact.

If you have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer, then you can download the entire file/table by following the second set of instructions in the sidebar section. This gives you much more flexibility. Once the file is on your computer, you will be able to search the entire table for a specific bishop. You can also use MailMerge with Microsoft Word to send a letter to some or all bishops in the table. MailMerge in Word will let you populate printouts of letters and envelopes with data from the table. Exactly how to do that is beyond the scope of this post and of our team, but it is a relatively convenient way to reach many bishops at the same time with the same letter. If you go this route, you are on your own! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you, Mary! ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. Thank you so much Beckita for acknowledging Mary. By the time I got to the last sentence I completely forgot the first sentence and didn’t mention Mary Lapchak. So sorry Mary. What a great team, Mary and SteveBC. …….Dee

      1. Yes, DolorDee, I just wrote a bit of code and a post, while Mary did a *lot* of work to create the spreadsheet in the first place. Further, she will be spending time for the foreseeable future to keep that massive table up to date. It’s a lot of work, and she deserves a lot of thanks and encouragement. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Today, I watched a video by Return to Tradition on the upcoming synod in the Amazon. He probably hit it right on the head as to the exact methods they will use, which ‘they’ used in the past and will use again. I call it the “slide it under the door move” and how it becomes effective. Next, the same blog, Return to Tradition, and the issue how PF will remake the USCCB (edit: Let’s give people the search words on YT, robill, if they wish to view the video: Francis Will Remake The American Bishops Conference In His Own Image) By retiring Bishops, age 75, many (14) will retire and those picked to replace will be those who support PF. So we see where this is going. Folks, this list is priceless and Mary did a wonderful job. We are rounding the bend, and the LINE is being drawn. Pray PRAY and if anyone saw that blurp by Vicska from Medj who was in Rome for a Baptism stated this: “Visionary Vicka said: โ€œI am very happy to be among you โ€ฆ you know that I pray for everyone and that you are in my heart. The greatest concern for Our Lady is young people and families, it is a very, very difficult moment in the world. Our Lady is very worried.โ€ And this from Marijana May 9th, In a recent testimony in Medjugorje, the visionary Mirjana Soldo declares: โ€˜We are approaching the time of the triumph of the heart of our Mother!โ€™ The triumph of his heart will come through the priests, who are fundamental to this, it is important to pray for all of them! I canโ€™t tell you more now!” So with that message, we must pray for our good priest, and continue daily to call on our Blessed Mother’s promises for all. We are in a terrible battle, and for a little while more it will be rocky. Ave Maria, our Mother!

    1. Lots being written and spoken about the Amazon Synod, for sure, robill. These things are bigger than any of us can touch but for prayer, fasting and living the faith through thick and thin… and those are, actually, powerful ways of responding. Brings to mind Charlie forewarning us of how there will come a time when all we’ll be able to do is the little right before us. So we carry on as we continue to read, watch, pray and take all our next right steps. God bless you, robill.

  4. Thanks to all of you who work behind the scenes with Charlie!
Those are certainly hopeful words from Mirjana – “…approaching the time of the triumph of the heart of Our Mother”. How we hope it is soon, even though we know God’s time is not our time. It’s difficult enough for us to go through all we’re going through, but to see some of our children suffering is even worse. You mothers know exactly what I mean. We just unite with Our Lady of Sorrows!

    1. Yep, Annie, we mother’s know exactly what you mean: there is no greater pain than watching one of your children suffer. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for all TNRS-ASOH’ers and for our children.

    2. I agree Annie…the suffering of my children and grandchildren is so hard to take. It is hard enough with my own sufferings but the children are very difficult. All we can do is keep on praying and hope for the Triumph to come soon.

    1. Great question, Linda. The list gives us easy access to contact info on each Bishop. We can write supportive notes to Bishops who are faithful to the Church. Also, we can write about our concerns to those Bishops who are problematic.

I sent this reply in response to some of today’s, below, MILINET articles:
“Anyone want to “Play Guess the Date” …… the date the lit fuse on that Powder Keg called USA gets ……..!!??
Most certainly that date will occur prior to Election 20. Despite ALL The Usual Suspects and their efforts, the Trumpster and his Deplorables are still standing and the USA, Domestically and Internationally, is in an ascending vector not seen in decades. The Global Left, Media and puppets in the Democrat Party can’t abide that and must take “steps” to derail the Election, intimidate voters and maximize voter fraud!!
Sooooo …. I’m guessing by this time next year all the Democrat Controlled Urban Paradises will be erupting in violence with Antifa, BLM, “Union” Thugs, Illegal Aliens and “Teens/Juveniles/Youths” doing their usual ….. ALL with overt & covert assistance from The Usual Suspects, including China’s PLA and international “Financiers” like Geo Soros, directing the “Campaign” with Fake News and “Social Media”. Does anyone think these latest “Water” Assaults on Cops are not dry runs for the Big Event?
I’d like to believe that most MILINET’ers, like me, have been Prepping for this unpleasant day ever since that Ft Sumter Event called Election 16?”

    1. Good collection of articles, CD. Your mention of Soros reminded me of a story on the news last night, an interview with a Polish young man. They started an organization in Poland funded by Soros and you can imagine the agenda! Such a Catholic country, and all they’ve been through. The last thing they need is a Soros group wreaking havoc.

  7. Kudos to Mary and Steve BC for the handy spreadsheet. Also good reminder to pray for the bishops in our respective states.

It’s encouraging that the Bishop’s twitter account recently acknowledged the Humanae Vitae anniversary and is promoting natural family planning.

“NFP can be practiced both for trying to avoid or attempt a pregnancy. Though no NFP method should be presented as a sure way to conceive, practicing NFP has helped many couples to achieve pregnancy. Learn more: https://bit.ly/2Y2JENS and https://bit.ly/2YuPqqW

(Our diocesan paper just had an article about a couple who had never heard of NFP till they had been married a few years; “How did I not know about this?”) hmmm…
…so St.JP II’s words ring true-hopefully priests will mention it more in sermons when applicable.

    1. Maggie, thanks for passing on this encouraging information. In the Lansing diocese (where I live), engaged couples must take an Introduction to NFP class before they can be married in the Church.
