Real Thanks to be Given: Our Coming Pandemic of Courage

After reading tons of commentary on the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict last week, there is a central aspect that has been largely uncommented on. In fact, it may be THE key aspect. This outcome has NOT vindicated the justice system, which should never have brought this case to trial. I am not convinced that it has served as a fortification of the 2nd Amendment either: the left is using it as a platform to advocate against that amendment. What is central to me is that this jury knew that they were being doxed; knew that the lawless lynch mob threatened to harm them and their families if they did not issue the “right” (unjust) verdict; knew that the corporate media was egging the mob on, contrary to the evidence; knew that most public officials on the left were doing the same; and knew that the prosecutors were brazenly lying directly contrary even to the evidence they presented and engaging in shockingly open misconduct. . Yet despite all this and the credible, personal threat to their own safety, this jury followed the evidence and the law anyway and found Rittenhouse not guilty. That was an act of intentional resistance – and open defiance of the maliciously false narrative so many institutions had mounted.

I have to think that, at some point, the jury (from Kenosha County) had to contemplate that the mayor of Kenosha and the governor of Wisconsin, with media encouragement, willingly gave their city over to a violent mob, while this mere teenager tried to defend their hometown. Some on the jury may have even thought, with guilt, that they had not stood in the breach as this boy had. And now they were going to right the moral blight that had afflicted all who had abdicated their responsibility to protect ordinary people – and the malicious evil which led so many institutions to actually encourage the evil.

Since the verdict, leftist officials and the corporate media have been shrieking like a brood of vampires confronted with an armada of crucifixes on a sea of Holy Water. Though they may not yet understand it consciously, they understand viscerally that this is a conscious rejection by ordinary people of them, all their works, and all their empty promises. If they cannot check this rebellion, their influence and power is near its end. For the left, including the corporate media, this heralds a genuinely existential crisis.

This crisis was compounded for them by the horrific assault in Waukesha less than a week later when Darrell Brooks, a white-hating black supremacist (at least by his social media history) allegedly plowed through a Christmas parade with his SUV, killing at least six and wounding at least 40. (I say allegedly for legal reasons – the video record speaks for itself). Much of the corporate media, astonishingly, tried to make excuses for him, suggesting this was not an intentional act of terror, but just a tragic accident as he was running from police for a previous crime. Local law enforcement authorities publicly slapped that excuse down as a brazen lie before a full day had passed (notably quicker than public authorities normally publicly correct media lies). So, instead the leftist media tried to downplay the story and its coverage. After publicly showing their evil nature with their lies in the Rittenhouse trial, it was as if they couldn’t wait to confirm it with the way they covered Waukesha.

As for leftist public officials, Milwaukee County DA John Chisholm is now in the hot seat for his efforts to reduce bail requirements almost to the vanishing point for violent felons since he first took office. At the time of the horror, Brooks was out on $1,000 bail while two open serious felonies are pending against him, one in which he is accused of running over his victim with his car. He should not have been out in the first place. This as even lefties in San Francisco are waking up to how out of control crime can become when prosecutors focus on “criminal justice reform” instead of protecting innocent and honest people. Ordinary people are figuring out that continually releasing violent criminals with little bail is actually issuing blank death warrants for innocent people – whose names are filled in after the released criminal commits his next violent felony when he should not even be walking the streets. If the lefties wanted to fool the folksies a little longer, they should have kept their pie holes shut instead of doubling down on what anybody who looks can now see are hideous lies.

Melissa Mackenzie, columnist at and publisher of the American Spectator, sends out a regular email newsletter which prominently displays the slogan, “Courage is Contagious.” She’s right. May these outbreaks of courage by ordinary people become a true pandemic against the malicious lies of the corporate media and actions of leftist public officials. For this, may we have true cause for Thanksgiving. Aslan is on the move.

Thank you to so many of you who have been praying for me. I had intended this to be a survey column, with several hopeful items, but I can only write by fits and starts – and this was all I could finish right now. There will be more over the next week. Following are excerpts of an update I sent out to the CORAC leadership team earlier today:

“I am doing well in my recovery, but still have a climb. Weird stuff…as I recover (and even as the infection was drilling deeper) it is more like a gauntlet of symptoms I have to pass through than a single disease. Every three days it seems, as one painful or trying symptom passes, a new one settles in for a few days. When a previous one is gone, it stays gone. Other than my gauntlet of transient symptoms, the toughest ongoing one I have to deal with is the fatigue and sudden dropoff of energy. When you let Covid drill into you as deeply as I did before beginning proper therapeutic treatment, it is like three wildcats tearing through the house. I haven’t been infectious for almost two weeks. The wildcats are gone, but boy, there is a lot of damage to be cleaned up.  Basically, I can do almost everything normally and I can think intensely again – but after a couple of hours of sustained effort, everything drops off the table and I can’t do serious work again until I have slept a couple of hours (makes it very hard to write – but at least I know when I am dropping off). I hope to have a piece up tonight. Yesterday, I had the best day since I stabilized. I had an awful weekend, after being transported over two days from Missoula, Montana to central Colorado. But I expected that. When I have a good day, I push myself as much as I reasonably can – knowing that it is going to make for a rough day or two following – and then I do it again. Not to worry, this method is taking me three steps forward and then only one or two steps back. But recovery must be measured week to week rather than day to day. Thanks be to God for Mark and Mary Lapchak, who are taking very good care of me, even though I can often be grumpy. And thanks be to God for Beckita, who took care of me for over three weeks when I was at my very worst.

    1. CD, there is even more than what Dr. Mercola writes about. There is an excellent video with Dr. David E. Martin, interviewed by Stew Peters on Rumble. He points out the exact places in official U.S. codes, that identify the crimes Fauci and the others have committed. All we need is willing attorneys general to bring charges.

  2. I’d like to share a sign of hope. Recently Covid went through our household. It began with my husband. He recovered then I got it and a day later my nearly 98 yr old father got it. I might not have been hit so hard but I was taking care of dad while I was sick. I took care of dad for two weeks day and night using as much of what I had learned through corac as I could. After two weeks I was Covid free but exhausted. Dad was still positive and was dehydrated and had pneumonia. He begged to go to the hospital. My husband called the ambulance. I live in a blue state. A very blue state. I prayed and surrendered it all to God. In the ER I sat in the room with dad. Everyone who entered the room
    ( many, many people) said “you aren’t supposed to be here”, followed by, “but I’m not going to kick you out.” We were well treated and I never felt shamed because my dad and I were unvaccinated. Eight hours later dad was transferred to an open bed at another hospital. There I was not allowed onto the Covid ward but I had good access to the nurses and a wonderful doctor who would call me with updates. At one point I thanked this doctor for valuing the life of a nearly 98 year old. He replied that he’d lost his own father two years prior who would be my dad’s age if he was still alive. The doctor then stated that we needed to take care of our WWII vets and teach our children to do the same. Wow. God is good. It has been a rough road and there are still rules that make no sense. They completely ignore natural immunity. But dad has officially survived Covid and should be out of the hospital soon. When it’s out of our control, it’s out of our control. Give it to God and He will take care of it. He will give you signs of hope.

  3. There was a mother whose daughter because of a her involvement with drugs landed in a correction facility, incarcerated for a year. Upon release after a short while, she went missing. Carrying every moment of the day and night the worst of thoughts, this mother turned to St. Andrew faithfully beseeching 15 times daily with his Novena from November 30th to Christmas Day. Nothing. Then, during the Octave of Christmas, on December 27th, her daughter was found safe and sound being cared for in a place on St. Andrew Street.

      1. Thanks so much for all the prayers for Elizabeth! After many phone calls, she finally got a very quick appointment with a proper specialist. And I think she found the right doctor because his nurse really listened and “heard” her. The doctor fit her in even though there is a waiting list of several months long. Elizabeth is a wonderful Christian (Catholic) spirit-filled lady who is kind, generous and loving. Based on what I have read, I do believe that this is a rare emergency. Heart-felt thanks to all of you wonderful internet friends!

        1. StJudith, this is a guess on my part but does Elizabeth wear a mask all the time? If so, please tell her to stop wearing a mask. Masks can cause exactly this problem, and the vaxxx has undoubtedly reduced her immune function substantially, making the problem worse. If she absolutely must wear a mask for work, ask her to put the mask over her mouth only, not over her nose, and breathe only through her nose whenever she must wear the mask.

            1. Then it must be an issue with the vaxxx and immune problems. If I were to have this problem, I would find an alternative dentist who can give me ozone treatments in the mouth. That can do wonders. Some alternative MDs and other docs can do systemic ozonation. That would almost certainly help and could be quite powerful for her at this point if it is indeed a vaxxx problem. I will add her to my prayers. 🙂

              1. Elizabeth has been seen by a peridontist, but it is a very, very rare condition and I think it is very aggressive. They have a plan the doctor and his staff seem worthy of her trust. Please keep praying for her. I will tell her what you said about ozone treatments. I have never heard of it before.

                1. I also think that the very unusual infection is most probably related to the vax, as you say. I doubt there is a way to prove that, however….. These people pushing the inj., make me feel ill. I just saw a commercial on tv about giving it to children. The advertisement was presented as a loving action and showed beautiful, happy children who need our urgent attention. (ie, the message was: Let’s be heroes for our children) This whole thing is a dystopian nightmare. The idea of giving this poison to children makes my heart break.

                1. 😀 😀 😀 Good luck finding that online these days – the information is heavily censored. But use logic. If a person gets Covid-19, whether mild or major, they get full immunity against both the virus and the spike. SARS-1 immunity has lasted 17 years. SARS-2 C19 patients have immunity that has lasted for over a year and shows no sign of waning. Virtually nobody who has had C19 already has ever been reinfected. So people who have had C19 are so well protected that they don’t need a vaxxx that comes with severe potential damage or death.

                  On the other hand, we now know that people who get the vaccines run extremely serious risks of severe injury or death, lose their immunity in 6 months or less, and have severely compromised immune systems such that they get previously suppressed diseases like shingles, now mumps, and cancer. Recent data from the UK show that somewhere around 90% of all covid-related deaths now are in the *vaccinated* population. We know that the vaxxxes do not keep a person from getting C19 after getting a vaxxx – in fact the vaxxx appears to *increase* the likelihood of getting C19 and even more likely to suffer death from that C19 infection. It is virtually certain at this point that more people are dying of the vaxxxes than are dying *from* C19, and the excess is widening fast as more and more people are learning how to treat a C19 infection quickly and effectively.

                  Conclusion: You don’t need a vaccine if you already had C19, so why even consider taking a vaxxx that could damage you severely and undo your already existing immunity not only to C19 but also to shingles, mumps and cancer?

                  If a person has the chance to choose between getting C19 itself or taking a vaxxx, I personally would choose C19 while using supplements that would pretty much guarantee a mild case that would give me full natural immunity. Note that I’m not saying that *you* should go out looking to get C19. C19 is a nasty disease, and certainly I simply want to stay well. But I am willing to risk getting C19 despite my significant prophylaxis efforts while being *completely* unwilling to take a vaxxx which has no positive upside and all negative downside.

                  2. Thanks Steve! I was just wondering if you had seen anything. I am Covid- recovered and was trying to see if there was something to show my employer…should it come to that. I am closely following all the stats re: the vaxxed and their subsequent illnesses. In fact, I am seeing it at work, as well as in the community. Though noone will connect it to being vaxxed. Wishing you and all a holy, peace-filled Advent in the midst of everything!

                    2. Ah, but unfortunately, there are narratives that lie, saying you can still get covid even though you have antibodies. Insane? Yes. But it’s out there. Praying for you, Hope, that you are blessed with navigating the completely arbitrary whims of your employer so that you can forego the mandate and keep working.

                    4. Ah, 4rhope, I see your dilemma. It flies in the face of logic and all past experience that this vaxxx could give better immunity than getting C19 and treating it properly.

                      For example, wild C19 generates antibodies and immune cells that target not only the spike protein but also the nucleocapsid of the virus itself (N protein). That by itself proves the C19 immunity is better. Combine that with SARS1 immunity lasting 17 years so far, and with SARS2 immunity lasting more than a year so far, compared to the vaxxxes which are now *known*for*certain* to give immunity for less than 6 months (else why the need for boosters, eh?) and to destroy portions of a person’s existing immune knowledge and strength (else why do so many vaxxxed get shingles and cancers?), and the contention that vaxxxes give better immunity than C19 itself becomes ludicrously laughable – or should I say laughably ludicrous?

                      What you might try with your boss is to make him *have* to think. Do an end around to the censorship of the single article type saying C19 immunity is better than vaxxx immunity, and try to get articles that prove that SARS1 (“SARS-CoV” that was around in 2005 or so) immunity is still effective (and compare to the need for boosters for the current vaxxxes). I’m sure if you put your logic hat on (whether it’s a spiffy or tattered hat) and figure out other comparisons that illustrate what you need in order to get your boss to wake up and stop bothering you.

                      Also, FYI, it is illegal to require another person to take an unapproved vaccine. All vaxxxes currently available in the US are *not* approved but rather are only given Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) and by law cannot be forced on anyone. The only fully FDA-approved vaxxx is from BioNTech (which is partnering with Pfizer) and is called “Comirnaty” AND is not available here in the US at this time. Therefore, your boss is breaking the law and will be subject to a slam-dunk suit if (1) he forces you to take any vaxxx other than Comirnaty, or (2) fires you if you refuse to take any vaxxx other than Comirnaty. Make him fire you. Then look around for some lawyers who are suing employers – there are a number of them.

                      Have fun with your boss. 😀 Make him sweat.

            1. It brings joy to see this unfolding, Dave, even while knowing that it is happening in the midst of what God’s Plan is for the whole world. Here, I think of how we have been told there will be many a juncture where it will seem Peace has been achieved, but Peace cannot be lasting or full until God’s Plan – in its entirety – has come to pass.

  10. Couldn’t help but ponder what a delicious, Heavenly irony it would be to have the Court overturn RvW in the midst of this insidious scamdemic/vax mandate plot. While there’s likely great suffering (and battling) ahead due to this wayward generation, that the innocents may be able to flourish and fulfill their purpose here under God gives me immense hope and joy. Truly, the subtleties of this are so simple, yet so immense, it’s difficult to ponder.

    Watch God’s movements. Humility is the reward, with hope and joy close on its heels.

      While the protestant revolution was ongoing, Our Lady of Guadalupe converted 10 million Aztecs in Mexico and ended a horrible genocide.
      There is a description from a Church Father that there was a city caught up in sin—but it was left alone by demons, who instead attacked the monastery outside the city gates. The demons knew they had to work harder to destroy the city by harassing and destroying the prayers of the monastic monks who had offered themselves for that city. In a very real sense, that city of bygone days is today’s world and Church in crisis and as many of us suffer and watch as our world crumbles knowing much of our suffering is because of the great sin of abortion (and the use of them for “medical” vaccines), many prayers are going up asking God to help us to rid this evil from our land.
      May we stay prayerful until every child in the womb is loved and protected.

  11. I was listening to the arguments today to overturn Roe v Wade. I was dismayed that the conversation seemed to be all about the woman’s rights and not the baby’s rights. The viability of the baby can be “proved” “scientifically” without a doubt these days. I pray that somehow the justices see the light of truth. These babies have constitutional “rights” to liberty. Sigh.

  19. I urge you to get a copy of JFK’s book, The Real Anthony Fauci, while you can. You have to read these assertions about what is going on with Fauci, Gates,,all of our health agencies, the WHO.etc. and the media control by big money to control the narrative. None of us would ever think this could happen or begin here and spread to the rest of the world.. Many will think “This cannot happen here; we have systems in place to avoid such horrors” But these systems have all been hijacked and corrupted with big money and careful planning….I posted some things yesterday that I read in the book. The board seems hesitant to allow the post and I assume that is because it is so shocking and beyond disturbing that one has to wonder if these things are actually mentioned in the book. You have to consider what JKR, Jr. and others (that he quotes from around the world) are saying. I imagined some things before reading the book and thought I knew a lot. But this is the full story. Just suppose that it is a l l really true? It certainly would explain the madness of these times.

    1. All those things and so much more, Bob. Charlie’s making a great recovery, albeit long and with its hearty share of misery. I had the honor of providing care for him for 23 days, beginning when he realized it was covid that had whacked him… and a bludgeoned blow it was. I hope you’ve read his latest pieces in which he acknowledges the wonderful medical team with which we worked, a great synergy of traditional medicine, homeopathy, essential oils and so much prayer which Charlie lovingly and graciously gave to the Father to disperse where He Will. Tell me now, which patient do you know who has Sunday Mass in his hospital room two weekends in a row? This whole sickness episode has me thanking and praising God anew, for He has a wonderful plan for each and every one of us and Charlie’s prayer which he wrote and recently shared says it all.

    Many true pro-life young people, young families, are taking a stand and refusing the jab for the right reason, but not without consequence and sometimes loss to their livelihood, comforts, etc. These heros will have nothing to do with any injection even remotely connected to an abortion. God bless them! But where is the Church in their hour of need, some have no income – the Catholic Church is silent.

    Astounding to watch the USCCB neglect to address the covid situation in light of surfacing information of the many jab deaths and adverse reactions in the vaxxed. Not a whisper on the vastly surfacing scientific and medical proof indicating early health care prevents hospitalization and death. How about a cease and desist shout out on the jab especially on innocent children who have a virtually 100% recovery from covid, with mostly mild symptoms. It is a crime to be silent and not warn parents of the jab dangers to their children. Surely they know – what are they afraid of? Someone needs to sit down with Pope Francis with the facts. Perhaps Dr. Malone, Dr. McCullough, Dr. Alexander, Dr. Ardis, Dr. Zelenko – or all of the above. Just this week a 5 year old succumbed to the jab and what about her parents who thought they were doing the right thing? Parents can be warned in churches, through bulletins. These are ongoing crimes against humanity – how can the Catholic Church remain silent?

      We need to let our voices be heard. It appears that we have been swept under the rug by and large. Letters, phone calls, church socials, etc. are all avenues to begin the discussions anew. Perhaps a kind note sent along with a Christmas card to our clergy and hierarchy. Imagine a Zoom appeal with numerous laity from around the world on one production making it’s way around the internet. The time for waiting on others to deal with *matters* is over, imho. One person can only do so much, yet we are many with varied skills and talents.
      Onward in defense of and prayers for the faithful in this day of battle and for our blessed wayward to return to the fold for their sanctity and salvation. ❤

        The USCCB prelates need to move swiftly into reality. It lacks comprehension that they have not addressed covid at any of their meetings. Catholics have been misled across the board not only by the media and government agencies but more grossly by the Church whom they think they can trust.

        The covid killer problem all along was that Fauci would not allow repurposing of existing drugs that are safe, *inexpensive* and work! Doctors around the world reported high success rates for HCQ with zinc in “early outpatient” treatment. But the fox Fauci sited hydroxychloroquine inadequate for “hospital” use and denied permission (it only effective in first 5-8 days but he disallowed that conversation). Same Fauci fenagling with Ivermectin, Budesonide and others that work for covid. Why? Twofold:

        First, he had a high-priced protocol: his new drug Remdesivir for inpatient care with a price tag of over $3,000/patient (which causes internal bleeding btw), expensive ventilators and to this end he arranged hospital incentives for treating covid *inpatients*. From this Fauci perspective, hospitalization is imperative. Here’s a snip-it from one of my professional email consultations on HCQ:

        From a Professor of Epidemiology, December 2020:
        “This has been the tragedy and crime against humanity that we have been suffering since February, all for the greed of Big Pharma that has suppressed all messages of methods that could cheaply undercut their products. ….. These people do not care that they have needlessly killed 300,000+ Americans in order to make money for their products. Just collateral damage for them.”

        Second, and more important, if it can be proven that any one of these repurposed drugs is an effective treatment for covid, there would be no need for vaccination. The vaccine was the end game goal from the start.

        The Pope, prelates and priests need to be informed about this Great Deceit. So many have died unnecessarily. Hospitalization is a death sentence under the Fauci protocol. The real pandemic comes now with the experimental spike protein injection adverse reactions and deaths. The dangers of injecting children with this experimental drug is unconscionable. It is imperative to inform parents covid symptoms for children are mild and immunity is a good thing. On the other hand, we know the vax can cause a lot of damage, even death.

          Most of my adult life was spent in Healthcare Business/Finance Management. For over three decades I could not find through my employment opportunities a medical establishment or doctor that was not corrupt.
          During that time. at the turn of the century, I was our first Chicago Parish Council Chairman and vicariate delegate to the Chicago Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, under the late great Cardinal Francis George. I am sadly very familiar with the deceit and deception and how matters fall on deaf ears.
          I was knee deep in the first wave of clergy sex scandals too, now recently revisited and still unresolved.
          I know in my heart that we have to take a stand and cooperate with God as He is our only saving grace. Lord have mercy! ❤

Dr. Moynihan emailed us the interview by Sacchetti and it can be found on “the way back machine” which preserves articles that have been taken down. I can only describe the interview as explosive, summarizing some of what Vigano has said before. We should pray for the Archbishop’s safety! Mother Mary, please keep your mantle over this holy man!

    1. Ascension Press is just finishing up “The Bible in a Year” series with Father Mike Schmitz. It’s been awesome! They have a downloadable form that shows what is read each day. I have no doubt that the entire year will still be available if you want to listen to it. Father reads the passages, says a prayer, then gives commentary about the passages. That’s my favorite part! I’m a cradle Catholic and there have been many times throughout this year that my husband and I looked at each other and said, “I didn’t know that!”

  45. signs of spiritual warfare: started 12/1 through 1/23. There is a large Planned Parenthood billboard at the intersection a block or so away from their abortion clinic. On the back side of their billboard is a large billboard of The Holy Face that reads “Heal Our Land: 2 Chronicles 7:14 (AMDG).” Those two large billboards are back-to-back on the same structure, one facing east and the other facing west.
    The Holy Face billboard can be seen and read blocks away especially when it is lit up at night like the “light shining in the darkness.”

    Being human unfortunately includes making mistakes and facing inevitable consequences, sometimes painfully crestfallen in the awareness of how our mistakes have impacted others. One summarization of the definition of humility defines it in terms of what God has said: “In summary humility is submitting ourselves to the will of God and obeying Him. Humility is expressed as believing what God says and doing what He asks. It is an attitude of the heart that naturally recognizes that we are lower than God and owe our lives to Him.” And what is courage? Dictionary: “the ability to do something that frightens one.” Courage faces Truth and bravely takes “the next right step”, in humility.

He’d better not be going away! 🙂 After what can only be called miracles for the family through my beloved St. Joseph in the last almost 20 yrs, I have told him that I want him to continue to be an Important Patron Saint to us! Some people in the parish placed a life sized statue of him as we enter the church; I stop in front of him every time I enter and talk to him. What a special Saint!
