I promised that on this, the 104th anniversary of the penultimate day of the apparitions at Fatima, I would offer a prayer of repentance and renewal for all those who have been damaged by the counter-scientific Covid restrictions, including the experimental gene therapy shot. The prayer is a single one, but in three parts for the sake of this piece. The prayer appears in bold italics, interspersed with some commentary.

I will not put up any links with this article. The disorders created by the shots are so common and growing that to miss them now you have to intentionally be turning your head in the other direction. I have no patience left with the “correlation is not causation” crowd. In statistical analysis, vast departures from statistical norms are early warning of potential causation. When the statistical aberration from the norm of deaths is over 30,000 percent higher than normal (as it is with this shot), you have to be intentionally blind not to be terribly alarmed. When you find that those numbers are actually suppressed by defining “unvaccinated” as up to two weeks after the second shot – so doctors don’t report so many adverse events and so they can say the dead were “unvaccinated” rather than died shortly after taking the shot, there is nothing I can say to keep you from going off that cliff. Today, anyway, you will have to do your own research – and if CNN, the other networks, the CDC (which has been proven to have lied repeatedly throughout all this) are your only go-to sources, well, we each will pay the price for the decisions we make. Mine is a loss of liberty. Yours is a loss of health. All of ours is the loss of a constitutional republic.

I am extremely uncomfortable with the use of religious and medical exemptions – though I strongly encourage each of you to use whatever tools are at your disposal to maintain some vestige of liberty. When those exemptions are used, they tacitly concede that these unconstitutional mandates are consistent with our free system; just subject to some limited exceptions. The only exemption I will claim is that of a free American citizen who will never bow the knee to tyranny, medical or otherwise.

The fearful thing is that, despite the massive numbers of disorders (death, clots, heart problems) popping up from this already, these are only the short-term disorders. In the animal studies, as common as short-term disorders were, it was the long-term disorders that killed almost all of the animals. The injected spike proteins tended to intensify future infections and to constantly attack the soft tissue of internal organs. Most animals died from long-term pulverization of their lungs. We won’t see the long-term disorders start to kick in in a significant way for another six months. Ah, but as one genuinely well-intended doctor told me, while conceding what a disaster the animal studies had been, public officials had assured him that they had solved the problems. If they did as good a job with the long-term disorders as they did with the short-term disorders, nearly everyone who got the shot will die over the next three years, without divine intervention. Whistling past the graveyard with a lot of happy talk will not change that. Safe and effective, indeed! But divine intervention is a reality in crisis.

When I went on my pilgrimage, I drank from hundreds of streams, rivers and ponds – and I never once filtered what I drank. When I was in the wilderness, I often would eat a very small piece of a common plant I saw. If, within an hour, it did not sicken or kill me, I would take advantage of it to cull my hunger. This is a minor modification of the prayer I would say before consuming anything:

“Come, Lord Jesus, purify this food and drink and all I consume in any way. Let it lead me to strength, to apostolate, and to take the next right step; at all times, in all places, and in all situations…”

A fellow I met along the way asked me, incredulously, if this meant that if he poured poison into my water I could drink it and suffer no ill effects. “That would be presumption,” I told him, “I would not deliberately drink poison. If, however, you poisoned it unbeknownst to me, I believe I could drink it with no ill effect. I have no desire to test God, only to trust Him.”

I also took no personal protection for the journey. A fellow in Jasper, Alabama tried to give me a .22 pistol for my safety – and actually cried when I refused it. I told him that, though normally a prudent man, I believed this journey was divinely inspired to build my confidence in God, among other things – and that if I relied too much on myself for protection, I risked forfeiting the divine protection that was absolutely essential to me. I did not engage in the presumption of jumping off cliffs or putting myself knowingly into dangerous situations, but I did not worry about my safety in the least so long as I acted with normal prudence. Even the knife I carried I kept in my pack where it was not quickly accessible. I was in more than a few hairy situations. I often found myself praying, “Jesus, I trust in you.” Comically, more than a few times I quietly prayed, “I will fear no evil, but come quickly Lord, for I am feeling pretty nervous right now.”

Prudence means never spurning the abundant natural means of protection God has provided us. But it also means examining honestly what others recommend, using the mind God gave each of us to discern between what is good and what is a fraud. Almost 30 years ago gene therapy was touted as the great new miracle that would solve all human ills. Early efforts were a complete bust, mainly triggering toxic, immune and inflammatory reactions in people or temporarily dampening a viral reaction only to see it recover and actually strengthen. In the last 20 years, as humbled scientists dialed back their enthusiasm, there have been some very limited successful therapeutic approaches to various disorders developed with gene therapy. Now, with these shots, we are engaged in the most massive and expansive experiment with gene therapy ever ventured – and given the predominant failure of gene therapy (usually compounding rather than resolving a problem) these last 20 years, we had an obligation to do some due diligence before jumping into such an experiment. Mandating it is a crime against humanity – and God is not mocked.

I am appalled at how many Bishops have completely succumbed to the artificial narrative, refusing to even look at the hard evidence themselves enough to know what questions to demand their credentialed experts answer. Several Bishops I otherwise have high regard for have enacted mandates and refuse to do any personal research other than, “Dr. so-and so says.” This is appalling. At the very start, I asked Steve Baker (Steve BC to most here) to do serious research on this as we went along. I trust Steve completely on scientific and medical matters – not just to get it right, but when I ask him questions, to dive in, do the research and get it righter – and not to work from a pre-settled narrative, even if it is his own narrative. He is an honest man. In March of 2020, Steve, too, was very fearful of what Covid might portend. As he settled in and did the hard research, by May of 2020, he was furious. He told me that Covid should have a death rate near zero, that there were therapeutic approaches which, applied early, have a nearly 100 percent rate of eliminating the most dangerous symptoms – but that, inexplicably, both medical and public officials were suppressing them. Among these were the hydroxy-zinc treatment, ivermectin and heavy infusions of zinc and vitamin D. He told me before I saw any other reports that Covid is primarily an attack on the blood and circulatory system – not the respiratory system, and that intubation would be a death sentence for most people. The bottom line is that, unlike Anthony Fauci and the CDC, everything Steve told me panned out – well before the CDC and company started reluctantly conceding it. Because he is an honest man, Steve did not need any pointed direction to find good answers that held up under examination. But when I had questions, not once did he ever petulantly tell me I should just do what he says because he is a gifted scientist. Not once was there ever even a hint of that. I was perfectly comfortable asking him the most pointed questions, knowing that I would get answers that made sense, even if it took me a while to digest some of them. Occasionally, he would gently chide me when I misunderstood something he had told me, but our relationship was always based on mutual respect and a determination to get to the truth of the matter. It has genuinely horrified me that so many otherwise respectable Bishops have eschewed their obligation to fully examine the issue, under the guidance of scientific experts who are expected to answer their informed questions, and instead just issue orders without making even the most cursory examination into the contradictory issues themselves. But God intends to humble a lot of people who use self-centered hubris to make their decisions rather than duty and responsibility.

 “…Lord, let me never spurn the abundant natural means you have prepared for us. Let me take the next right step while never petulantly demanding that only Your supernatural means of protection are acceptable to me. Never let my obedient prudence stray into hubris that I know better than You, thus forfeiting the divine protection that is essential to me. Let me use all the tools You have given to discern between good and evil, knowing that I am responsible to You for every decision I ever make and cannot abrogate them to anyone else under the color of authority…”

When the widespread consequences of large cultural decisions are unveiled, we are called, above all, to want what Our Father God wants; the reclamation of all souls to Him that are willing to be humbled. If we are wrong, let us not sulk, but pray for more wisdom and go forth with a firm resolve to do better, under God. If we are right, let us not crow, but go forth to care for those injured and reconcile them joyfully to God and to ourselves.

In many ways, a formal prayer is a sort of Sacramental – a visible sign of an invisible reality. No formal prayer is of much use if it does not truly signify the heart or, at least, the desired internal trajectory of the heart. Thus, if you throw yourself into reliance on God, but continue to act as if you are still the titan, the lie on your lips about what is in your heart will avail you nothing. If I had put together a great security package to protect myself during my pilgrimage and took great pains to purify all I ate and drank by my own means, I would have been living a deceptively pious lie, saying that I was throwing myself into radical dependence on God while continuing to live complete dependence on my own cleverness. My pilgrimage would have been a fraud instead of an acceptable offering to God.

That does not mean that saying a prayer while you are trying to live it well, but are not yet there, is of no avail. I sometimes think that these prayers are among the most powerful. The cry of the father of the tormented son to the Lord, “I believe, help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24) is one of the most moving prayers in the Gospels, rigorously honest in the confession of his own infirmity and eagerly seeking for it to become fully true in his heart. But a prayer must reflect either the reality of the heart or its true desire. It is useless as a mere magical incantation.

“…When I err, Lord, show me Your mercy by firmly correcting me and filling me with resolve to get back up and go forward in Your service. When I have done well, give me the grace to minister to Your people who have stumbled, acting as true brothers and sisters in building each other up to strengthen Your Kingdom. Teach me to want what You want, never to attack the freedom You have given all people through Our Lord, but to convince and exhort in unfailing patience and humility. Lead me in a plain path, turning neither to the left out of anger nor to the right out of fear. Create in me a clean heart that I may participate with You in proclaiming Your Kingdom. Lord, You know I love you. Have mercy on me, a poor sinner. Amen.”

I frequently say the simple truth that God never leaves us bereft. Last November I said I suspected that these “vaccines” were likely to become the greatest medical disaster in history. The data I have now studied for a year convinces me it is true – and that we are just in the opening act of the unfolding disaster. Yet that unfolding disaster is not for our destruction, but for our reclamation:

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord,

Plans for welfare and not for evil,

To give you a future and a hope,

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me,

And I will hear you.

You will seek me and find me;

When you seek me with all your heart,

I will be found by you, says the Lord,

And I will restore your fortunes,

And gather you from all the nations,

And all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord.

Jeremiah – 29:11-14

Say this prayer for yourself and all you love who have been affected by the disorders of this age. Then trust that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

I write some each day, but I am still only up to Sept. 28. Meantime, all monthly donors will be sent a special CORAC Rosary, with a little metal squirrel attached. These are being handmade by a dear lady in Minnesota (I gave a bunch away at the National Conference). She sends them to me in batches of 20 – so be patient. It will likely be Christmas or even after the first of the year before they arrive to you. It is not just for new monthly donors: ALL monthly donors will receive the Rosary.

  1. Thank you so very much, Charlie, for this Prayer during the Storm with the reminder of the effect of praying from the heart. I have made copies and will continue to pray it, knowing that God does not leave us bereft.

    SteveBC IS an honest man… and a humble and generous one too, pouring out his knowledge, love and care in this community and beyond… wherever he is. I can see the following quote being fulfilled, right before our eyes, Steve. Thank you for the hope, peace, joy and love you have spread here.

            1. Unfortunately, Jill, what do credentials mean in our day and time? A TON of credentialed people in our broken health industry are turning a blind eye to what’s being uncovered about the lies concerning covid19 and the vaxxes which ( edit: the powers that be are) attempting to be mandated in a country where freedom is a cherished values imparted by God, not government, and too many of these folks with credentials are outright lying. Of course, SteveBC will reply for himself. I simply say, you can be sure that Charlie meant every word he wrote above about Steve who has helped countless members – and their families – of this community. Steve is a brilliant man who, when faced with health difficulties which those in the existing health system were not fruitfully addressing, went on his own search to explore and discover effective health remedies. Consistently, he reminds people that he’s not a doctor. Consistently, we’re hearing stories of how Steve’s counsel has literally saved lives and brought health and healing to many. I’ll add that Steve, too, is a professional researcher with a vast scope of reading in health matters. He freely admits if something is beyond his knowledge. God bless you, Jill.

              2. Jill, I understand your hesitancy, and it is mostly healthy. Unfortunately, anything Covid has become so politicized and there is so much going on below the surface of all the credentialed people that the only way out is to research solutions for yourself. I’ve known this for literally 40 years and have been seeking my own answers all that time. Nicely, in the past few years I’ve had three younger people drop their jaws when I tell them my age. When I ask what age they think I am, they say about 52 or so. I’m 70, am happy, and am quite healthy. To me, those are credentials enough. But for others, the proof has to be in the pudding.

                I don’t view my “job” with Covid research here as forcing anyone to do as I say but rather to use my knowledge to investigate *all* the possibilities I can find, cull out the useless or dangerous ones, and then put it all together into a paper that is accessible to folks like you. It’s your job to read the paper, see what ideas I recommend and how they all fit together, and then to use my cites and your own research to figure out whether they will work for you or not. Unlike with so many of our “credentialed”authorities”, there is no coercion here. It is completely up to you to take what you want and leave the rest.

You make some of the same points he does. It is a brilliant talk, to doctors. He points out that the 500 doctors who have actually helped people are the heroes; the million others should be ashamed! Must see, as they say, and way to go, Charlie! May the truth grow louder and louder to destroy the blindness and deafness of the masses. And our “shepherds”? Oy vey!

  10. Just finished watching the move about Our Lady of Fatima.
    Can’t help but see some of the parallels of these times to then with the Spanish Flu (pandemic) taking Jacinta and Fancisco, the socialist “mandates”, the locking down of the churches by the Magistrate and the spred of communism.
    History sure does repeat itself.
    The assurance that the Immaculate Heart of Mary will Triumph and there will be peace is comforting despite everything we have gone through in the last 104 years and what we are now dealing with.
    Hope to soon see the next century and beyond in that period of peace.

It’s the story of the Communist Revolution that brought Fidel into power in Cuba. I said to hubby, more than once regarding some events, “that’s what we’re going through now”. Sad.     2. Wow, Patrick! I have not seen this trailer, but have seen videos by Dr. McCullough. He is one of the greatest heroes of our time. I posted a link to him yesterday. His comrades cannot look him in the eye, he said. They must know the truth.

      1. Dr McCullough. I can’t say enough about this man. In a video for secular audiences, he described the inexplicable behavior of physicians as caused by a “neurosis more contagious than Covid” – but in trailer 2, for a God-fearing audience, he described the phenomenon far more plausibly as being “demonic”. Bingo. The only explanation for what we are witnessing with the “vax” and government overreach is indeed the work of satan through his human accomplices. It was refreshing to hear him call a spade a spade.

        Glad he’s on our team.

    This week I have to decide if I am going to invoke my religious exemption and ask for accommodation. I retired from the federal government last December and now work part-time as a contractor. I enjoy my engineering work, but could live without the extra paycheck. Right now it helps me pay my mortgage off faster. Your statement above gives me more to think about. I thought it would be best to be part of the push back invoking my exemption, but I hadn’t thought about conceding to unconstitutional mandates. Would a better approach be to contact my senator and representative and fight back when I am fired? I want my next right step to help more than just me.

    1. Not to worry, Mary. Feel free to go ahead and do what you planned. That sends a message, in itself. I am just a purist sometimes on these matters of principle – even as I recognize that, in times of great crisis, it is rarely the purists who turn the tide – though they do hold high the banner of the root principle involved. Your original plan will, indeed, help turn the tide. You don’t have to be as persnickety as I am on these things to be very effective.

    1. I presume you’re joking, because I can’t believe a reasonable person would have that little reading comprehension. I said most people who got the shot would die within three years without divine intervention which I said, indeed is coming. And the evidence for it is that almost all the animals in previous trials of this died – only within two years. Since the short-term problems were NOT resolved, despite the assurances that they were, it stands to reason that it is unlikely that the even more deadly long-term problems have been resolved. It does not matter how simple a life you have lived, if you ingest a poison that has proven poisonous in all previous cases, you are going to suffer the consequences unless there is divine intervention.

I think this Divine intervention will be solely or mostly by recoursing to Him through Holy Mary , perhaps especially in the sites linked to Marian apparitions like Fatima, Lourdes, Medjugorje. I do not think God will suspend the spike proteins or any toxins just at His whim. What about abortions – an even worse genocide? We need a great reset indeed- The New God’s Reset. When the Israelites in the desert began to grumble and speak vile things about Moses and God, God sent them a plague of poisonous snakes to punish them. Yet when the people cried out and repented, God told Moses to make a fiery snake and mount it on a pole – and when the repentant people bitten looked upon it, they would not die from their snakebites (Numbers 21). That serpent on a pole became the symbol, even in these times, of true medicine. So, yes, I think a lot of people are going to be bitten badly by this gene therapy “vaccine,” but I also think that all who took it in good faith and suffered serious adverse reactions before we knew how bad it would be will become martyrs to the Lord and will intercede for us both here and in heaven. Once it is clear how bad it is, everyone who repents and calls on the name of the Lord will be healed. And then we will know once again where our only true source of security lies and will once more turn to true medicine rather than the shifting kaleidoscope of politicized medicine that stalks the land, changing only to augment the power and influence of the few rather than the good of all. Some will NEVER call on God and, so, be lost.

          Once we respond by tossing all the hucksters who have profited off of, lied to oppress, and even killed the vulnerable for political gain out of any position of public trust, treating them like the venomous serpents they have made of themselves, we will be back on our way to God’s friendship. So those of you who have loved ones who have or will take the gene therapy, have no fear. Unless they are beyond any repentance of the belief that man is god, all that will happen is that God will manifest a little of His glory in them when they call upon His name in repentance. And rejoice for all those who rejected God who will embrace Him anew when He is clearly the sole remedy for our self-imposed disasters.

    Anyway, yesterday I read good news about a study on aspirin at George Washington University which confirmed the previous findings by Israeli scientists – that regular over the counter aspirin significantly reduces serious Covid19 symptoms and death rates nearly by 50%. So I thought that would be major headlines news at main news outlets too. I checked out of curiosity Fox News, CNN, Reuters – they do not mention the GWU study , instead they LAUNCHED AN ATTACK ON ASPIRIN, citing new recommendation of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.
    (Newsmax and oann are silent on this for some reasons too, but are not attacking aspirin).

    To make it even more insane, this new recommendation by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is against recommendations THE SAME PANEL issued five years prior.

    I’m so glad you called the shot what it really is, an experimental gene therapy shot. It’s not a vaccine! It makes me so mad that we are being deceived this way! Two of my family members got the shots and believe they are helping. I pray to St. Michael the Archangel who is a great protector of plagues. I highly recommend getting a stone from the St. Michael cave in Gargano, Italy. It is believed to have healing powers as well as protection from the evil one and his companions.

    I recently read an article from Lifesite News on the Southwest pilot who is refusing to get the jab that stated the President’s mandate isn’t even official yet. It stated, “Some critics of Biden’s federal mandate point out it exists only in the form of a press release. They note that more than one month after the president announced private companies employing 100 or more people must ensure their employees are vaccinated, no such mandate has been sent to the White House’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs yet for approval.“ If this is true then how can businesses, schools, etc., force people to do something that isn’t official? Can’t an individual ask for proof of the federal mandate first before having to ask for a medical or religious exemption?

    Anyway, these are the things that keep me up at night. I will print out your prayer and say it for my family. They have all walked away from the faith. I will keep this community in my prayers, please pray for me and my family. God bless you!

    What Charlie presented above is very reasonable & concrete. I’ve seen information in the way of patents, ingredients, and a testimony from a Arch-Bishop that would make most serious Catholics rush down to Confession and beg Jesus for forgiveness for taking any of these fake vaccine gene therapies, and asking God to heal them.

    These gene therapies are very dangerous in more than one way, and the deadly effects compound & get worse the more shots you take.

    2. AL2, yes, people are still arguing against the facts and data. I see it all the time at work and have had multiple conversions each week about the vax. I don’t intentionally seek people out to talk about it but if someone brings up the vax, I will try to get them to at least think for themselves. While talking with a colleague this past week, the person commented on the number of kids out of class with Covid. This is a secondary school and all kids are eligible for the vax. I made a comment about how these rare breakthrough cases really aren’t rare at all. I told them that something’s not right because our student population is over 85% vaxed & these kids who are out have been fully vaxed. This person proceeded to tell me that no, the kids who are sick are all unvaxed because they’re lying about their vax status. I pointed out that all staff and students had to turn in a copy of the vax card to prove their status so there is no way all of these kids are lying. The blindness of those who keep spouting “the party line” is mind boggling and at this point diabolical.

    It’s also good to have a heads-up about the unfolding medical disaster staring us in the face.

    I could no longer provide family medicine in good conscience to a company deliberately ignoring science while proactively risking patients’ short- and long-term health…. even their very lives. I’m still stunned, unable to comprehend how it is even possible that any healthcare company could willingly risk people’s lives: “Primum non nocere”! First half of this year, the clinics I worked in would jab anywhere from 1 to 8 people nearly every day. They acquired stockpiles of epinephrine and required a provider on site should a patient have an anaphylactic or other serious reaction to the experimental drugs (that alone is a huge red-flag). I was in a controlled rage every day of work because this atrocity was occurring in the clinics I was responsible for, especially because I could do nothing to stop it. I repeatedly made the effort to educate my very small staffs on the facts (ad naueam) about misinformation regarding Covid prevention and management, and especially about the drug-related injuries and deaths being hidden from view by the government and media. I asked staff if they would stop actively calling patients at home to offer the drugs. No, I can’t blame the receptionists for recruiting people for the jab nor the nurses who performed the injections because they were obeying the directives of the Chief Medical Officer (a very smart man who had inexplicably become willfully stupid). One ignorant nurse who quietly dismissed my information and opinions had no qualms about giving the injections — she believed she was doing good work. The other – a devout Catholic – confided that she was deeply disturbed by what she was required to do.

    Obviously, the genie is out of the bottle, and so here comes the tidal wave, the comeuppance of our actions. Recklessly delivering experimental drugs with minimal understanding of the (PATHO)physiology of how they affect the human body, it is certain we have no idea how to treat the problems we created when the damage from these drugs becomes overt. We were hasty in poisoning people, so there likely won’t be enough time to develop an effective response. It is also likely that the problems we created will be well beyond our ability to treat them anyway before many people suffer and die.

    If this unfolds as indicated, physicians and healthcare workers will suddenly have a staggering number of frightened people running to them for help: people who have become very sick, those who are injured, those who are terrified about the possibility of death, and those who are actively dying. Charlie states many of the vaccinated will not survive their physical life without divine intervention – as Moses healed the Israelites with the bronze serpent (Num 21:6-9). I fully believe this.

    Frankly, I’m not capable of making a very deep theological exploration here, but I at least want to try to articulate something. I ponder how God will use us – ALL of us – to participate in his healing interventions. God certainly can wave his pinky and heal all the sick on earth in an instant, but he wants to work through us so that others will know that it is God indeed who is delivering them. People with no medical training will bring about miraculous healing through their faith and their prayers. Trained health professionals, likewise, will need to rely on their faith in the power of Almighty God to impart his divine treatment when all temporal ones inevitably fail. As I continue preparing for this particular crisis and the other challenges the Storm may bring, it is increasingly clear that I must especially work at strengthening my faith, striving to get closer and closer to Jesus and Mary. The goal of all people of faith is to achieve union with God. Here I emphasize something we already know and what brings us all together: A close relationship with God and unwavering faith in him will be the best, surest, and in most cases only way we can help those around us, heartening and healing people both physically and, most importantly, spiritually.

      In 2001, I was able to leave a community hospital where I was a staff RN. At that time patients where starting to be dehydrated to death on the medical floors. They would do this to patients without families. The patients had multiple chronic diseases and were very sick. The standard pathway was: get a court order so the patient (in ICU, etc) could be made a ward of the state. Then a DNR, then move to a medical floor and pull the iv and put a npo sign above their head.

      I was so very grateful to God I was able to leave.

      1. Hey Timothy. I’m not sure as I never got involved with the billing end of things, but I suspect there was a strong financial incentive to push both the bogus PCR testing and to give as many jabs as possible. It sure fits as a partial explanation for the unconventional/unethical departure from the norm. This particular healthcare system services only very small frontier clinics with very little consistent income generated from the patient base. Some weeks I had only a handful of patients which would barely keep the lights on. They are heavily dependent on federal support in order to keep operations running IMO. In March the new CEO did say they were still quite finanacially viable throughout the plandemic despite not having the increased winter income normally generated by the flu season — apparently influenza has been miraculously eradicated from the United States (re the bogus PCR testing).

  27. Thank you Charlie. It’s been a reallllllyyy long time since I have commented, but I have been reading and praying for all the requests for a very long time. I bring a request for prayer to you all.

    These last months have felt like the train where each car keeps coming, but this last locomotive is full power. I have had autoimmune/heath issues for several years, I have had my 17 year hospital job status hanging like a noose around my neck waiting for the medical/religious exemptions (sorry, Charlie- I know what you just said about the exemptions), we have had that C-word in our house like several times, and this one I have to run to you all for prayer please. My Mom has been living on her own and doing pretty well up until a couple weeks ago. She has been a germaphobe and an introvert her whole life, so this C-word sent her into self-imposed lock down. I could make this a long story (I’m good at that), but I’ll try not to. Over the last couple weeks she just was sleeping more and more and more. We were trying to get her to go to the doctor because we were suspecting CHF. We finally took her to the hospital a couple days ago. She has a spot on one lung that is cancer, and the aortic valve is “pinched”. Sent us home on hospice. She has just declined so fast. That was 2 days ago, and the hospice nurse said today that she will be surprised if we have 2 more days. I am waiting for the Priest to call me back right now for Last Rites.

    So, what drives me to you for prayer? Mom grew up with the fire and brimstone version of Catholicism. Her human relationships have been troubled at best. I don’t know if Mom knows the tender side of Jesus and she is scared. Will you all please pray for her? for a peaceful death and that she will fully say yes to Jesus. Mom will be 95 on Sunday if God gives us those days.

    I do think that my Mom feel very tenderly about our Momma Mary. I have been asking (begging, snot tear faced sobbing??) to Momma Mary asking her to hold my Mom’s hand and show my Mom how beautiful her son is.

We have been given the gift of a little more time, though it’s a day by day proposition for certain. My Mom turned 95 yesterday :>} I have said the Divine Mercy Chaplet over her at least daily. I want to just say a special thanks for a moment that I’m sure your prayers helped to create. My family was raised Catholic, but most branches are not practicing any longer. My oldest brother passed away a couple years ago, but his wife (who has been in our family longer that I have been in our family), my sister, brother, and I were all present to say the Rosary together in Mom’s room over the weekend. It’s hard to comprehend that last Sunday (a week ago), she was living on her own in her own house. God is GOOD!!!

          1. He was in the early days. He last piloted a ski-equipped C-130 flying in and out of Antarctica. He doesn’t recognize the name, but is a little younger than Joe L. It was always a “small world” in the Navy, running into people you had known.

  28. I have to say that I have a prayer for my wife and myself who got the vaccine early on. She was a research scientist engaged in vaccine development specifically against smallpox. Very similar technique to the one used to develop the coronavirus vaccine was used by her. She went one level further to only a product of the virus in order to establish immunity. She didn’t particularly like the idea of messenger RNA but saw no inherent problems in it as she researched the methodology. Basically she knew the tools available to ensure that a vaccine would not have collateral damage and that the screening process could make sure that these products didn’t occur in the vaccine. Whether those protocols were ignored in the development of this vaccine is unknowable. Remember it was under the Trump administration that the development started and certainly with the idea of defeating this bio weapon before it could do a great deal of damage.
    I am currently being treated for cancer using immunotherapy antibodies. The cancer has already caused partial blindness and seizures so the idea of refusing therapy and allowing it to run its course seems unwise. If it is a therapy developed using unsafe methods or not I have no idea. My trust is not ultimately in men. It is ultimately in God.
    It is utterly clear that the manipulation and coercion has nothing to do with the actual risks. I have buried two friends who refused the vaccine but do not in the least blame them. They suffered as much from the suppression of viable remedies as anything.

      In my opinion, Francis is attempting to create a framework for a One World Religion. It seems it would be similar to a figurative umbrella under which all five major world-wide religions will co-exist. The critical element, Pawel, is that the three monotheistic faiths (Judaism/Christianity/Islam) have formally agreed to the idea that they all “pray to the same God”. The Hindu and Buddhist faiths already believe that “all religions lead to God”.

  34. It’s hard to know where the truth lies these days. From what I read, this “vaccine” is gene therapy. I know of people with side effects from the jab, some with permanent damage and some who have died. We are not getting a clear picture from the “experts.” And I believe that it’s intentional. I got the coronavirus in January 2021. 8 months later I got the antibodies blood test. Thank you, Jesus…..I have plenty of antibodies. No jab for me. I’m not fearful and I don’t wear a mask if I don’t have to. I’m 82 years old. I didn’t die when I got sick in January. That was God’s Will. Some people died from the pandemic and some people lived through it. That was God’s Will. Some people got the vaccine and got covid anyway. That was God’s Will. The only way to live life is to “pray, hope, and don’t worry”…….St. Padre Pio. Say the Rosafry every day, and every day say….”Jesus I trust in you.” Be at peace, God is in control.

  35. I have no desire to “beat a dead horse” as it is said (I’ve done that plenty of times in the past!)
    It is 100% true that statistical analysis is so important in this area to separate “correlation from causation.”

    The first thing lets do is assume that it is true that there exists a 30,000% increase in the rate of death in the group of those that have received the mRNA treatment. We then ask the follow-up question, how would we expect reality to exist assuming this is true?

    The most natural question is: Why did we not see this 30,000% increase in deaths in the clinical trials of the mRNA vaccines?

    From the source data, it appears that there were 7 total deaths for any reason between both of the clinical trials (Moderna and Pfizer).

    -2 were in the treatment group
    -5 were in the placebo group

    As we can see, 2 deaths per 40,000 in the treatment group is actually *below* the background rate of death in the US. Interestingly, the placebo group had more deaths.

    Now some caveats:
    We might be able to reasonably conclude that there was no increase in risk of death within the first 3 months since that is what this data includes. My understanding is that these phase 3 trials will continue to run for 2 years (at minimum this is what Moderna’s trial design says). This means at some point we should have death data for longer than 3 months.
    Again, if there is a 30,000% increase in death due to the mRNA treatment, this should become very obvious in a group of 40,000 people.

When the data of increased incidence of deaths is inconvenient, you completely abandon the VAERs system, designed in a combined effort of the CDC and the FDA 31 years ago, operated by them still, in which THEY set the norms, and go to a captive study done by the very people trying to sell the safety of the therapeutic they profit from. (Conflict of interest much?) You are a veritable Indiana Jones at jumping to a new ledge as the one behind you collapses. I am going to do a couple of things here. First, I am going to clear a few of your flurry of comments. After that, you get one more shot at the last word (and keep it to 500 words or less) – and then this discussion is done.         I will be straight-forward and honest that I do not personally know how to analyze a system like VAERs. I don’t know how to separate bad data from good data. How to do a proper analysis, especially given that most people didn’t know what the VAERs system was before a few months ago, so how does that affect the data?
        I would definitely be curious to hear some informed debates/discussions debating what we can/cannot conclude form current VAERs data.

        Thank you for the prayers you wrote above; interestingly, that prayer you wrote above has a similar tone to the prayer I ultimately said before receiving the Moderna medical treatment.

        After a time of discernment, prayer, and research I ultimately said, “Alright Lord, I think that the next right step is for me to receive this medication. I give you full permission and reign to stop me receiving it if you desire.”

        Obviously this doesn’t mean that God would not let me make a decision that would harm me, but there was a freedom in me explicitly allowing Him to do so through whatever means if He so desired.

        Suffice it to say, here I am 6 months post-medication.
        If you are correct that within 3 years most who receive it will die, I am at peace and trust that the Lord allowed me to receive it with the ability for myself and those around me to grow closer to Him, and ultimately bring us all home to our true homeland in Heaven.

        1. Philip, this is deeply touching. I have had a few instances of people putting me through my paces only to find there was completely something else going on than met the eye. One lady a few years back, over the course of three emails, gave me the business hard that I could not possibly be authentic because I had been sexually active for so long – and had been receiving guidance on other things in the midst of that. I acknowledged that hers was a reasonable position, but that I was obligated to tell the truth of the matter – and that I would not be offended if she dismissed me on those grounds. I could almost read the tears in her last email. She told me she had not really been so mad at me. Rather, she had been (her word) a “slut” until she was in her mid-20’s – and did not believe God would forgive her. She was glad to feel new hope that maybe He wasn’t done with her.

          From what you say here, you did what you did in complete submission to God. I don’t think there are going to be any ill effects because of that. I have a Priest friend in some significant authority in Chicago. He hates the idea of the shot. But he was not going to be able to continue to minister to his people there without accepting it. He told me he accepted that he might become a martyr, but that he took it so as not to have to abandon his people. I have another Priest friend in some authority on one of the coasts. He primarily ministers to the ministers. He decided he will not take it because there are those who could almost seamlessly replace him. Both, I think, are doing the will of God as best they can.

          I do NOT think that almost all who took it will die within three years. Divine intervention is such a given for me I usually underestimate how hard it is for others to accept it as a commonplace, given the proper disposition. I expect enough to succumb that it will become clear what a disaster this is, and then most to turn to Him – as you have already done – and receive the Divine exemption from our earthly hubris. I have two scientists I am in regular contact with who are deeply concerned with the trajectory of these shots (one here and one in Europe). Both fear that, from their research, over a billion could die from the long-term effects. Recently I assured them that, if it comes, it will be a MUCH smaller number than that, a tiny fraction of that amount (without pretending it won’t be an objectively large amount). That this dysfunction, created irresponsibly by man, will instead be used to manifest the glory and mercy of God, along with His sovereignty.

          So Philip, in the end, I suspect that five or 10 years from now we will have a cup of coffee together and laugh at how frantic the crazy times were. For the decisive thing is not – and will not be – whether you got the shot or not, but whether you submitted to God in everything you do, whether you erred objectively or not.

          This exchange has been helpful in another way, too. Many who have gotten the shot, as evidence of serious problems mount, have been in fear of it – with that fear sometimes manifesting as spirited defense of the shot. Some good people have gone into despair and think they are doomed. I had one lady who was waiting for me to get home this spring who had gotten it and was fearful that she had doomed herself – and nervously confessed the same to me. I assured her that God does not strike us for our weakness, only for our defiance – and that she would be fine. She was genuinely reassured.

          I can’t hide that many will die – and already have. But I can say with absolute confidence that God has poured forth extraordinary graces over those who submit to Him before all is revealed…and that this is NOT for our destruction, but for our reclamation. I accept and expect divine intervention as a commonplace. When this is all over, a whole multitude will do the same. God will not strike us for either our errors or our weakness, only for our hubris – and those who become collateral damage to this earth on the way to that unveiling will be given extraordinary graces.

          Thank you for what, in my mind, has turned out to be a profound contribution to these comment boards.

            I had assumed our discussion would ultimately come to some point such as this because I think we both take very serious the desire to be true rather than right, as well as the desire to humbly trust God in all things the best that we can.

            To give some history, I have been reading your reflections in the background for over 7 years and have found them spiritually edifying and informative for developing my own thoughts about the nature of reality. As you probably noticed, I have only posted these first comments in the past few weeks.

            I think I was moved to comment when I wasn’t quite convinced yet that the evidence was as strong as some thought in regards to these mRNA treatments and the election issues. That these themes continued on for some months now, I finally gave in and decided, either I am missing something huge or someone else is overlooking something huge. (On both of these issues there are lots of yellow flags, for sure. It then takes a lot of research to figure out which yellow flags lead to genuine issues, and which are non-issues once we understand them correctly.)

            On a side note – How would one conclude that Divine Intervention had taken place in regards to not allowing the majority of those that received the mRNA treatment to die?

            To ask this another way, let’s assume that 3 years from now the majority of people who received it do not die, how would one distinguish between whether the shot was really not as dangerous as one thought as opposed to it being dangerous, but God Divinely Intervened so that not as many died?

            Now, one thought that comes to mind would be the occasion of people starting to die in connection with it. We figure that out, and then by the grace of God are able to use some other medical intervention to make sure the deaths stop. That could be an “ordinary way” of God intervening.

            If by “Divine Intervention” we mean more akin to what we would traditionally call a miracle, then that would seem to reference a case where God suspends some natural law(s) for a time so that nature does not take its usual course. (Which is the best definition I’ve heard for a miracle since “Divine Intervention” can make it sound like God wasn’t present, but now He is and He decided to jump in and help. This view doesn’t make much sense as God is constantly present to all creation, sustaining all in existence as “Ipsum Esse Subsistens”, to use Aquinas’ phrase.)

            Anyways, my many years of philosophical and theological curiosity and training kicking in now!
            (To reveal a little more, I was in the seminary for 6.5 years and it seemed God was calling me to be a priest. But then He surprised me and the years after discerning out of the seminary have been quite an adventure! Life is sure an incredible adventure when we are open to the call of God. That experience of discerning out taught me a huge lesson in God never abandoning us.)

                God definitely “intervenes” in salvation history in many a varied ways! I’ve given up trying to predict exactly how God will work in the future, as it is always easier in hindsight to see specific fingerprints of God at work (and even then it is easy to misinterpret what exactly God was up to in my life at that time).

                I guess this goes back to the great insight that it matters little to know exactly what will happen, but rather to know what to do no matter what happens.

                What is unmistakable is that God has been at work, is at work, and will be at work. That is one reason as I mentioned above that I’m not the biggest fan of the phrase “Divine Intervention”. It can insinuate that God wasn’t present, and then He had to jump in and intervene. But never is God not present to all of creation holding it in existence and sustaining each entity’s nature.
                (It is true that creatures with free will have the ability to allow God’s power and presence to have greater or lesser influence over us and all creation.)

And the bravery you exhibited is amazing as you must have weighed all circumstances, such as your wife and your children with their needs for providence and protection from you as husband and father… yet you knew not the fullness of danger which we have been discovering.

                  I, too, know priests who took the vaxx early on; they simply didn’t want to leave any in Christ’s flock bereft of the Sacrament of the Sick or the Apostolic Blessing or the Church, as Mother, accompanying those dear ones on the Final Journey Home if that is what would unfold.

                  In the book of Job, God never reveals to Job why He allowed him to be scourged He just basically tells him he is too little to be asking the question in the first place! Job never knew his story would end up in the Bible to teach future generations about God’s power and sovereignty but some still think Job got a raw deal through it all!
                  I remember when my young nephew was asking big questions like “why is the sky blue” etc.
                  I simply told him the scientific reason how the atmosphere filters light, etc. Afterwards, he just asked again: “But why?” He was so young he simply did not comprehend what I was telling him so I just started saying: “Because”. He was hungry for knowledge but had no way to understand what I was saying.
                  We are the same when it comes to why God does certain things.
                  Even if He tried to tell us we could not comprehend it. This is why Scripture tells us to “become like little children” particularly in these areas of mystery.
                  So many people abandon faith because they don’t understand it- so it must be false or they compartmentalize it to match their worldview, become lukewarm and then loose it. St Paul claims its a race, and a fight to keep it-mystery and all.
                  We aren’t called the Church Millitant for nothing!

            3. Hey Philip, I suspect you don’t account for the value God places on free will enough. He IS always present and it is ALWAYS far better for us to choose to follow Him and avoid committing great offenses. When provocations become near universal, it is a time when visible divine intervention is the most effective means of ending that provocation, of reassuring the faithful, and of giving the rebellious an invitation to come back to Him. Thus, we see such things at the city of Babel, the destruction of Sodom, the crossing of the Israelites and such.

              It could be that some “other” medical intervention would be discovered that cured the disorders born of the gene therapy. I find that most unlikely, though. That would just prolong humanity’s hubris that it has no need for God. Rather, I think, man’s hubris has led us into all manner of traps that God has delivered us from. And every time He does, we credit ourselves with it. If you have been reading me for seven years, you are probably aware of my positing the cycle of crisis, false dawn, followed by even deeper crisis as the means by which God would first soften us up and then, ultimately deliver us from our hubris, when the final big crisis was too big for us even to pretend to handle. I don’t expect the Covid stuff to be the only prong of that final crisis: I rather expect a whole raft of crises will break almost simultaneously that are utterly insoluble. Man will be (intentionally) overwhelmed. As we come to think all is lost, God will visibly resolve all the problems, sending Our Lady in the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart to signal the fullness of renewal. We will KNOW then, that we have solved nothing, but God has solved everything. Most of those who will NEVER accept that there is God and that He is sovereign will be swept away by their own hubris – just as pharaoh’s army was swept away. In the run-up to that decisive moment, I expect there to be several foreshadowings of the larger, main event to come.

              If, within three years, everything went back to normal with little ill effect, I would NOT regard that as divine intervention. God would not heal our bodies to make us feel better while leaving our souls to continue to rot in hubris – which is what would happen if we thought we had solved this ourselves. This is, I think, one of those defining moments in salvation history where God is visibly separating the sheep from the goats – and giving every goat every chance to come back into the sheepfold – with a full return to normalcy under God. For that to happen, I believe His intervention has to be visible and overt – and largely given after almost all think that all is lost. Convincing oneself that one still has all under control will not suffice. Each man must know the situation is utterly hopeless in human terms. The best will choose God anyway and be willing with whatever comes. The majority will be frightened witless – but overjoyed at the visible rescue and reconcile themselves more fully to true trust in God. The worst will be swept away, snarling that if they saw a thousand miracles they would never believe in God.

              Perhaps it will be different. But this is largely what I have believed consistently about these things for almost 60 years now – and for which there is independent evidence of it being my consistent take for 30 years now. I always both expect and quickly recognize divine intervention – and am overjoyed that we are nearly at the point where all will see, as intensely as I do, the power and mercy of God. We have brought our disorder entirely upon ourselves, while God patiently longed for us to turn back from disorder and hubris. First, He lets us see the full consequences of our disorder. Then, He visibly solves what we cannot.

              The problem is not that the divine presence is not always there, but that we so blind ourselves that we don’t recognize it – and mistake His patience with us as His absence from us. That blindness is about to be cured. But the dividing line will NOT be who did or did not get the shot, even if it is every bit as bad as I think it is. The dividing line is who does everything in submission to God, including their errors – which even the best of us have many. So when I proclaim that this is an unfolding disaster but that God will give complete healing to all who turn to Him and ask, it sometimes puzzles me that so many get so worried. It is not their physical life that is at stake, only their false sense of control and personal sovereignty.

                Brings to mind the idiotic stubbornness of our ancestors in the desert who r.e.f.u.s.e.d. to learn what Abba was teaching and chose, instead, to wander in the wilderness for 40 unnecessary years, moaning, belly-aching and blaming God all the way. HE didn’t make them do it; they freely chose… just as we’re freely choosing today. Mercy! May we receive the deprivations of this Storm and turn to our God of Providence, asking Him for what we need and desire, then relying on Him to meet our every need… NOT in OUR ways and on OUR terms… but in HIS ways and timing, accepting His answers to our prayers, knowing full well that when His answers include a “No; not this” kind of response, He really has a better way for us, for He IS Love.

                Yes, that is so true that the problem is not that the divine presence is not always there, but that we so blind ourselves that we don’t recognize it. That is one reason I like the insights of reflection gained from reflecting upon God as “Ipsum Esse Subsistens” and that a divine intervention is not God suddenly deciding it is time to act when He was not acting prior to that. It does make sense that there may be more explicit “divine interventions” at times, like you mention. But God acting in, around, and through all–if we allow Him–is there for all who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

                I think you are spot on that we are so good at taking credit for something that we had little to no ultimate control over. And that just feeds into our hubris. So that would make sense that there must come a point where, as a society, it is clear to all people of good will that we did not get ourselves out of the situation, it was only due to Him that we were saved from our folly.
                As you’ve mentioned many times, even with that there will likely be some that will still be caught in their hubris and sadly unwilling to acknowledge God’s explicit presence and sovereignty.

    My question to whomever — I do not have a periferal fence around my farm. It it time to put in one? Won’t be easy, as I have creeks, which is why we’ve never had one, We have lost 60-80 chickens recently to dogs?/coyotes? whatevers, maybe because we have no fence. Is this also a sign? Is it now time?

    BTW, solar still not working, but more parts replaced.

    Is there any way of knowing if you are supposed to be a (even un-official) refuge or haven? Is the fence taking precations? Or being presumptive? And yes, I offer my farm and my family and myself to Our Lord every morning. And yes, I have St.Benedicts medals at all corners.

    Please, y’all advise. None of my family believes anything is out of the ordinary.

        The fall foliage is spectacular in NE now. I have been soaking it in, wishing I was a photo person to share with all here. Just driving around, or running on the trails, or looking out my window, it’s like OOOooW, AaaaH, TYG, TYG! You did that God! Wow! TYG! The sugar maple reds are my favorite. The woods around these parts are so filled with gold, that even when its a cloudy, dark day, the inside of the forests seem lit-up with the most vivid streams of light.

            Yesterday, 2 people (my hairdresser and her boss) asked me for prayers for anxiety, ugh. I gave them SteveBC’s blog addy and Sonja Corbitt’s anxiety link. I love these ladies, they are like family to me. The both are recovering (not so well) from the ‘rona.

            As someone who has struggled with anxiety my whole life, I’m convinced sometimes The Lord is using my pain to help others. I do tell you it keeps me glued to Him. (I am constantly asking Him to help me not eat my own vomit, and not increase my own pain needlessly. ) I am grateful for being glued to Him. The Jeremiah quote Charlie referenced was one I ran into early on after my son died. It was a mass offered for him on what was his baptism anniversary date. Those words are imprinted on me :-)I will yet see His victory in my life!!!+TYG+

        Not much of a farmer, though I hear donkeys are pretty protective of sheep/cattle and fierce foes to coyotes … I don’t know how they feel about chickens

          1. Barbed wire or less will do.

            My neighbor, the cattle farmer, has two donkeys in this valley and they have made a huge difference.

            They make a cute couple, I call them Mr. Hee and Miss Haw. They like apples and come running when they see me nearby. (I have to be sneaky if I do not have two apples on my person)

            They are very beautiful creatures in person.

            He says they are “funny” animals in that they prefer to forage rather than eat hay.

            You have to be careful if you have a dog, though.

              1. The donkeys will kill a coyote or at least chase them off. The farmers us them because the coyotes kill newborn calves that cannot walk yet. My neighbor ran across one of the donkeys with a calf in its mouth (donkeys have small mouths). The calf was not hurt, but I suspect the donkey thought it was a coyote.

                That said, we have plenty of dogs around here and all are just fine. They have good enough sense to stay away from the cows, and I have never seen one stray near a donkey.

                Their is a stray cat, her name is “Happy Valley Farm Girl” who was abanded near my neighbor’s barn and she would crawl right between the donkey’s feet without any problems.

                tl;dr; I am a former city/suburbanite out amongst the farms now and I depend on my neighbors for advice and good sense on these matters. (:

                1. Wonderful! My Dad grew up during the Depression on a farm, but I am far removed from such. I have deep respect for all who work such difficult, at times brutal (life/death stuff—I wonder if it helps one become less emotional about death and loss?) but beautiful labor.

                2. I love reading about the donkeys. In Bishop, CA, they have an annual adventure called Mule Days. People come from all over and they have events, games, contests. There are mules and donkeys that you can go see in the corrals and exhibit areas, and it’s so much fun. We have visited a son in the area and gone to the event. I love to find the friendly ones who enjoy being petted! 🙂

    4. Nance, I believe you will know at the time (about a refuge), and I believe it may be that way for many of us as to what the Lord expects. There are hints in my life, but I can’t be sure of future decisions right now. That’s sad that so many chickens were lost! Wish I had some now with the price of eggs! 🙂

      1. My advice to everyone who comes to buy eggs. Get three hens instead. Things will get bad, and if push comes to shove, three hens will keep a small family alive, and just three hens can be fed from pulled weeds and scraps. You cannot come buy eggs from me, if there is no gas for cars. BTW, hens are usually allowed in towns if you do not have a rooster. And rooster-less hens lay eggs just fine.
