We are pushing hard for our CORAC Epiphany campaign, with a goal of $20,000. We stumbled a bit coming out of the gate on the end of the year campaign with a few technical glitches that prevented some people from being able to donate. Even so, as you can see from the thermometer above, we have raised $8,800 to this point.

Besides the costs of getting through all the paperwork our government overlords demand, we are actively working to give you the information and resources you need to thrive in difficult circumstances. Our home skills committee has become our sustainability committee. That is because there had been a little too much emphasis on having acreage to make a go of it – and we want everyone to have the things they need to thrive where they are, whether on a large plot of land, a suburban lot, or in an apartment. I am reviewing a report Steve BC has prepared on solid data on the Covid issue – data that will help you make decisions on how to best protect yourself and your family without giving in to paranoia or illegal government dictates.

Many have decided to join me and caravan to Washington, D.C. on January 6 to urge the Congress to object to the obvious fraudulent effort to steal this election. It will be the first big event of what will undoubtably be a very busy year of activism and real resistance for us from whatever depradations the pagan left tries to impose on us. Mary Lapchak is coordinating things with the Regional Coordinators, so if you want to join us, contact your Regional Coordinator directly or drop a note to Mary at lapchakma@gmail.com. If you want to go but are trying to travel with others, Mary and the Regional Coordinators will do their best to get you integrated in. We will have a few rally points in Washington, but that will only be disclosed to active members of CORAC who are going. Some have said they are supporting this effort to save Trump’s presidency. I have come to have enormous respect for Trump as one of the most effective presidents we have ever had. But that is not why I am doing it. I am doing it to defend the Republic – to stand for faith, family and freedom, itself.

An official I know told me a few days ago that he thought that officials in D.C. will try to stop protesters from coming into town by demanding Covid tests and other creative ways to shut down any effort at conservative or Christian protest. Already, some entities are shutting down in an effort to head us all off at the pass. I don’t care. I will not follow their makeshift rules, solely designed to shut up all us yokels. If the city is completely surrounded by a million Americans who will not abide the theft of our Democracy, that will make the point just as well.

January 6th is the Feast Day of the Epiphany. Theologically, epiphany is when heaven meets earth, when the Divine is revealed. In common parlance, epiphany has come to mean the moment when the fundamental nature of a concept becomes clear to someone. Let us live epiphany in every sense of the word on this January 6th. Please join us with your feet or your donation as we tell the establishment that we will resist their theft of our faith and freedom with all our might – and if God allows them to succeed for a time, may their fraudulent victory become ashes in their mouths, may it become the very moment that begins their complete undoing.

The strangely theatrical bombing in Nashville has sparked a host of theories about what really happened and what its purpose was. I have not gotten deeply engaged with that discussion for a very simple reason. In times of great turmoil and instability, these senseless things take a quantum leap upward. Some originate in frustrated people who have been deeply suppressed and feel that they have no other means of making their voice heard. Some originate in despair at having had everything taken from them or being forcibly separated from their loved ones. Others rise simply because unbalanced people see their opportunity in the midst of all the chaos already churning through society. Historically, whenever there is great turmoil, violent strife rises, often in rapid geometric expansion. It comes from the left, the right, and all points in between.

After a year in which massive numbers of people have seen their life savings and their businesses taken from them, when people are told they cannot be with their sick relatives as they die, when every aspect of life has been disrupted, of course we were going to see a rise in this type of thing. I have expected it all along – and it is going to get worse. These things must come. In fact, one of the prime selling points of liberty and free speech when our Republic was founded is that it gives people an outlet that helps prevent the rise of such senseless violence.

My basic outlook on analyzing anything is to question what knowing with certainty will change. If it does not change anything fundamental, I can only be casually interested. Some have posited that the Nashville attack was actually a missile attack by rogue elements of the government; others that it was a terrorist operation. Could be. I don’t know. But knowing won’t change the fact that we will have a sharply ascending arc of violence because we have allowed the climate in which violence rises to overtake our culture. There will be all varieties of such violence before we get out of the mess we have made. I am not interested in chopping away at the branches of the problem, but am completely focused on getting to the root. The effective advocacy for and defense of faith, family and freedom is what will do the most to end the violence – but that will only be accepted when enough people have burned themselves and their irrational rage out.

It is paradoxical in a way, but the most tumultuous times in history are when the most absurd conspiracy theories flourish – and when startling number of those absurd theories prove to be true. You know what else I have been expecting? Hostile foreign powers to get very aggressive – more so if this attempted coup is temporarily successful. Pray that when that shoe drops, the aggression takes place on shores other than our own.

I often like to juxtapose contemplation of the Annunciation and the Visitation together. Think about this: when Mary said yes to the Archangel Gabriel, she left the details to God, trusting that if it was His will He would carve a way out for her. It was not an easy way, but He did carve a way out. Yet in the Visitation, even though she was mother of Our Lord, the Messiah Himself, she humbly went to trek over the hills on a journey to help her cousin Elizabeth out with what could be a difficult late in life pregnancy. That is staggering. Mary knew when to leave the details to God and when we are called to be God’s hands and feet on earth. Of course she did! She was full of grace. Pray that she gives us all a double measure of that grace. If we sit around demanding the details when God calls us to trust, we offend God. If we sit around contemplating what He means when God calls us to action, we offend Him. Let us pray that we know when to contemplate and when to act so that we do not tarnish the good God calls us to by acting when we should contemplate and contemplating when we should act.

I watched a lot of old movies during Christmas: It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, The Bishop’s Wife, and White Christmas among others. There was a sense of nostalgia, melancholy and sorrow at these snapshots of a world gone by. That world had its faults, some grievous, but it was fundamentally a good world. The shared notions of what the good is gave us the capability of healing from even the most grievous faults in our culture. We proved that with the Civil Rights movement. Martin Luther King appealed to what is best in us and changed the world. Now have risen such things as BLM, which is not the heir to King, but instead the heir to the most vicious segregationists of that period of the world gone by. Antifa is not heir to the French Resistance, but to the Gestapo that persecuted them.

I pondered over some of the things that have brought us to this point. In the movie, “White Christmas,” Bing Crosby plays Bob Wallace, an extremely popular singer. In short, Bing Crosby plays Bing Crosby by another name. A critical part of the plot, though, is that Wallace’s career took a pause while he went to serve in WWII. In real life, Jimmy Stewart interrupted his film career to join the air force, becoming a bombardier pilot. The great baseball player, Ted Williams, interrupted his career for four years to serve as an aviator in WWII. Even in this abbreviated career, he hit 521 home runs. Ronald Reagan volunteered for the army in 1937. He was assigned to limited duty because of his very poor eyesight, but became a lieutenant assigned to public relations and film for the army. It struck me that, just 70 years ago, celebrities were much more than just a pampered, privileged, ignorant and angry elite class. They were us – and they served like us. Facing real danger and real hardship made them real and large-spirited in a way that modern celebrities can’t even imagine. It is not entirely the modern celebrities’ fault; we have made them into the idols, separate from the larger culture, that they have become. Small wonder they should adopt an imperious, pagan outlook on life. Honorable, inspiring celebrities are a relic of a world gone by. But alas! People who enjoy their fantasies while knowing what is important and fundamental are also a relic of that world gone by.

Now we are at the precipice of a full-scale coup which seeks to destroy any vestige of that world of honor, courage and decency. We have the pagan left – in government and the media -working overtime to shout, “Shut up, yokel!” to anyone who objects to this transparent steal of our Republic. We also have the FBI and the CIA working as junior versions, in training, of the SS and the Gestapo. We have internal travel restrictions, just as every authoritarian government in history has adopted. Our institutions have fully betrayed us at every level. There is no honor left, only a will to power. Meantime, the great majority of Republican officials want to just accept the steal, “for the good of the nation.” They insist, as Republican cowards always do, that we will get them next time. This is next time. If we don’t stand for honor and integrity this time, there will be no next time.

If this coup succeeds, it will only be for a short time. It will not be a legitimate government; it will be a leftist occupational force. You have no duty of loyalty to such a force. In fact, your duty to your country is to fight and overthrow such a dishonest occupation. They are an aggressive, lawless, ignorant, contemptibly dishonorable expression of the raw will to power.  You are not called to resist, imprudently, though. While you cannot respect the legitimacy of such an occupying force, it does have some power, which you should not provoke needlessly. You should resist with all your might without resorting to completely futile and stupid gestures. Make every effort count – and give no cooperation to any branch of this occupying force that would call itself a government without being coerced. When being coerced, do a calculation on whether the resistance will give a bigger return for the freedom movement than the damage it will do to you. Remember that faith, family and freedom are the watchwords here.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has announced that, whatever happens, he will not acknowledge Joe Biden as a legitimate president. That is good. It’s a start. It is imperative, though, that we always keep at the forefront of our minds that this is primarily a spiritual battle. Even if we won the battle to preserve the Republic, if we don’t trigger a mass return to God, we will lose the war of renewal – simply kicking the can of diabolical dysfunction down the road to be dealt with later or, even worse, by our children.

The time of choosing is not next time. The world that we once loved has passed on. There is only this time to begin a great renewal. But first, you must choose. Choose God, as St. Joan of Arc chose God. Let us go forward without malice, but with a steely resolve that those who would maliciously tear down a Christian culture will not stand. Let us, as Abraham Lincoln urged us in his Second Inaugural,  to go forth, “…with malice towards none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in to bind up the nation’s wounds…” And let us, under God, devote ourselves to acting as heralds of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart

    Now, re-posting my comment – with a wee edit – from a few days ago

    I was thinking of the folks who are going to DC on January 6th. When I heard rumblings that some CORAC folks might join Charlie, I knew Fr. Wang and I wouldn’t be able to make it, but we could certainly pray and the whole thing gave me a happy chill of excitement to realize that this could be the maiden event of the public presence of CORAC with Charlie and all who might join him.

    I LOVE the way God spoke to Gideon who wondered at how ordinary he and his people were…
    The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
    “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”
    The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”

    Enter 2021 as we strive to be on God’s side and claim what Our Lord conveyed to Gideon: “I will be with you…” even as Our Lady of Tepeyac’s words to Juan Diego, echo in our hearts: “Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more? Let nothing else worry you, disturb you.”
    Given the purpose of CORAC, I thought those who are able to caravan there (January 6th is the Feast of the Epiphany, when, in its original occurrence, another caravan was on the move) shall be a living icon of this Biblical verse:

    What a beautiful sight to behold—
    the precious feet of the messenger
    coming over the mountains to announce good news!
    He comes to refresh us with wonderful news,
    announcing salvation to Zion and saying,
    “Your Mighty God reigns!”

    Indeed, our God reigns!

Becky-tn there are like 3 prayers I pretty much repeat in my head and heart all day long… I’ve been doing it for so long I’m barely even aware that I’m doing it anymore and pray they hear me in my soul…lol… angel of God, my guardian dear…etc; St Michael the archangel…etc; and the Fatima prayer, Oh my Jesus I offer this for the conversion of sinners and in preparation for the sins committed again the Immaculate heart of Mary.❤️. These three prayers no matter what is happening around me keep me grounded and surrendered to God. I hope this helps you dear one🥰

  6. Thanks for your wisdom and guidance again in this piece, Charlie. Been chewing a lot lately on how to get my family on board for better prepping spiritually. One great thing that happened Christmas Day was both my adult kids participated in the televised Mass that day. It was the first time in years that we have attended church as a family, even if it was in our home. It was also the first time we decided not to exchange gifts, but just enjoy each other’s company. Then we had an early dinner and worked on a Christmas puzzle, ALL of us! (But, had to cut it short though since I had to work Christmas night).
    😦 Yesterday we had my mom over to continue our Christmas Day celebration. Best Christmas ever! We watched White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street as we worked on another puzzle. Nostalgia has been running high for us, too, for those days gone by.

    I will not be able to go to DC for the stop the steal rally, but will be with you in spirit, and praying for a miraculous turn of the tide and for the safety of all who travel and attend.

    Four years ago I was going to daily mass on my days off at a church in our city that was handing out a paper where you could say an Epiphany blessing on your home along with blessed chalk. We did the blessing and wrote above both our front and side doors the inscription it said to write. This year I am going to ask our pastor if it is something that our church would be able to offer to us. I had never heard of it before that. I had forgotten about it but I was cleaning up the sidewalk this fall and looked up and saw that the inscription is still above our front door four years later! It would be nice if we could renew it this year though, especially with everything going on.

    1. I grew up in NYC in the 60’s and my parish was a Polish church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, St Stanislaus Kostka. Pope John Paul II also visited our church when he came to NY. Our priests always blessed our houses for the Epiphany. Fast forward 60 years, a couple of years ago I started to attend an SSPX chapel in Victor, MT and they offered us blessed chalk and the blessing to do it ourselves. I have done it for the last 2 years and renew it every year. Let me know if you need the prayer and I will either post it or send it to you.

      2. Thanks Karminak! I am going to stop by Sacred Heart tomorrow. Fr. Pederson is still there so I am pretty sure they will have it. I still plan on talking to my pastor about it.

Hey I told globetrotting Tommy y’all will be coming through in January…he told me to tell y’all “tell them not to wear any MAGA hats or Trump shirts!” He said the antifa people are very wierd and evil and wouldn’t think twice to come up behind ya with a brick! He and Liz won’t even bring their white Ford truck with Ohio plates because of what they would do to it! So he asked me to warn ya…I did. Draw no trump attention to yourself but indeed be there!

    So I understand from this piece that it really doesn’t matter who won/wins but what matters is a great renewal in the belief and dependence on God! Gonna take a whole lot of suffering me thinks to get there. Gosh! I tremble to think of what may be coming but I’m sure glad we are all gonna do it together!🤗

    1. From reading the literature which I enjoy and having taught the writing process as an educator, I’m always amazed at the varied styles which writers develop, Harriet. The rich life experiences and the voracious reading of one who dives into into a wide variety of genres and topics influences that one’s writing style immensely. Charlie’s treasury of reading, living, and mystical lights, DO bring forth powerful insights, as you note. Thus, to expect him to shorten his words would leave us without many insights as well as many of the gems of counsel and wisdom that are embedded in his writing. Perhaps, instead of reading everything all at once, you can experiment with reading the writing in chunks. This one easily divides into three parts.

    3. Harriet, I respectfully beg to differ; and this comes from someone who reads at the speed of an elderly and very deliberate turtle. Sometimes it takes me ages to get through one of Charlie’s pieces, but I’m always glad when I’ve taken the time to read (and often reread). I hate to think of how much we’d all miss out on if Charlie wrote pieces that were short enough for me to get through without a fair (or considerable) amount of effort. 🙂

      I got a chuckle out of your reply when I read it thinking, oh, she’s going to get blowback from that statement.(It has happened to me.)

      I have dyslexia and have struggled reading/comprehending all of my life. Reading Charlie’s posts these past 4+ years I have come to appreciate his well thought out writing style. I know it is going to be a long one so know I have to set aside time to be able to read it. When it is short it makes me think something is wrong. Rarely has he written something where I have to reread the same sentence 4 or 5 times to understand it. If I have to do that on a regular basis with an author I stop reading their material altogether. I know, I know, I can hear the critics now…. After 6 decades of this, I say walk a mile in my shoes!

      So, I want to encourage you to keep reading Charlie’s post. Try a paragraph at a time and take a break(I sometimes do that). Come back and digest some more.

  12. A Washington Coincidence Grows More Meaningful

    Years ago, I went shopping on Etsy to order a dinner plate to replace a broken one. The Etsy seller of vintage items mistakenly sent me a beautiful collector’s souvenir plate of Washington, D.C. and let me just keep it rather than send it back. The plate’s been on a countertop all these years as a reminder to pray for Washington DC.

    While I would dearly love to attend the Epiphany rally for President Trump and America on January 6 in person, making history, I will be among those offering prayer support from afar and sending my guardian angel in my place.

  13. Likely won’t make it as we have three grandkids every day but will be praying. This AM i woke up and prayed to be sure the fraud is of a crisis nature and likely enought to swing an election, and decided to pray extra seriously for 3 days. . I listened to Rush Limbaugh guest host Todd Hermann and he had some good guests again spelling out the nature of this fraud including Sidney Powel. Worth listening to or finding a transcript of if any have doubts that this thing is real, and sadly serious. You should be able to look him up when the episode is posted later today.

    I cannot join on the 6th but can be a prayer warrior and donate again for such a holy, good cause. Heaven is on the March and so are we!

  19. A Republican representative in the legislature of the state of Penna. met with Trump recently to discuss fraudulent voting in Pennsylvania. He reports that Pres. Trump has said that this situation is now less about him than about saving this Republic. He claims that Trump is resolute to do all he can.

A sort of compromise has been being that as I drag my feet, I get to answer questions with faith-filled educating responses I.e. because of aborted baby cells ( morality and rubella vaccine evidence); or of RNA genetic modification (whole larger question) etc.

    1. My son globetrotting Tommy and pregnant wife Liz just got their first dose last week thanks be to God with no complications! They get one more yet in a few weeks. They do covid testing in DC (emergency nurses) so they simply had no choice.

    My wife pointed out a posting she received recognizing today is the 850th anniversary of the death of Thomas Becket. He was martyred on the alter at Canterbury for opposing the English King’s attempts to control the Church for political gain.     2. This is a remarkable proclamation, JT. President Trump is clearly making a statement.

      Also, note that he singles out two religious leaders in China for commendation:

      “We pray for religious believers everywhere who suffer persecution for their faith. We especially pray for their brave and inspiring shepherds — like Cardinal Joseph Zen of Hong Kong and Pastor Wang Yi of Chengdu — who are tireless witnesses to hope.”

      Without saying it outright, he is taking a stand for Cardinal Zen and contra the current Vatican powers that be.

      I’d love to hear what Father Wang and Beckita have to say about this.

The stakes are high and I think, in declaring it, President Trump reveals that he knows we’re not getting through the current turbulence without God’s graces and blessings. Agree with you, too, that Trump shows his support for Cardinal Zen’s stance not only on the repudiation Zen has consistently registered against the Vatican “deal” with China, but also Trump’s support with Zen for Hong Kong’s freedom movement.

And Dr. Kory’s video of his testimony in front of Congress on Dec. 8th, was passionate, compelling, and convincing. I hope it gets shared far and wide, and it convinces people to take off those masks and start living life again. And to know that we really don’t need a Big Pharma vaccine to accomplish this. God bless this doctor’s group. I’ve been following their preventative protocol along with Steve BC’s added recommendations and have stayed well all through this with minimal restrictions and no mask.

    3. Fr. Ripperger’s explanation on the moral theology of vaccines that use aborted fetal cell lines is amazing! It just blew my mind, and it should be required listening to all Catholics and all people about the moral responsibility to reject any vaccine that uses the aborted fetal cells of babies that were “murdered” as Fr. Ripperger stated. It is certainly thought-provoking, and in my opinion, Fr. Ripperger gives clear explanations as to why we must stop this very evil medical research and practice.

    A while ago I mentioned an event called the “Quickening”. This is the prophecy that things will start happening faster and faster before the New Era comes.
    The above mentioned: “exigencies and emergencies of 2020” have stepped on the gas of this Quickening to reveal the “for me or against me” kinds of persons. This period has removed the “restrainer”-the grace and goodness Charlie mentions as now being “nostalgic” and lost.
    I think there was plenty of corruption all along but it was not “politically correct” to admit it and so it was not outwardly socially acceptable. With the restrainer removed and free thinkers now just “being themselves” the fast-tracking of “good is evil and evil is good” has taken hold and now the new narrative is: ” I need to get what’s comming to me at any cost”. Thus the free-for-all .
    By losing our sense of proportion, no long term societal effect is considered.
    Such as;
    the National debt, lack of vaccine testing, trading off our nations interests to foreign countries, aborting away our posterity, closing down society for a cold virus, etc.
    This may be purposeful by some but many are just too busy thinking about themselves to care about the long term effects anything they do may bring.

  33. Sad to report that my friend/neighbor’s mother died this morning. Please say prayers for her soul and her family.

    The mother was elderly and in a nursing home. She was NOT ill but eligible for the COVID vaccine. She got the shot on Monday and died this morning. To me it sounds like execution. She had swollen legs but again she is elderly. It came up in conversation that they were required to get the vaccine.. in order for family to be able to visit? How horrible is that?!

    Now I feel i didn’t warn my friend enough about the vaccine. I don’t think the use of aborted fetal cells phases anyone! I even remarked it’s an experiment still….

    Yesterday I just spoke about it to a Catholic school teacher who says she’ll get it. She said the abortion was so long ago…
    Her health care worker niece got it in TX. I remarked it could affect her young niece’s fertility in the future.

    Father Ripperger’s talk helped me to understand that the DNA is stolen in an illicit fashion and is morally evil. Thank you for sharing that video here.

    3. Thank you, Littleone, for sharing your story here. Please relieve yourself of the burden in your heart in which you feel that you did not warn your friend enough about the vaccine. I am sure that you did the best that you could do within your power to do so. I’m sure you took the next right step. We can only do so much to inform people of the potential consequences of their choices, especially since so much legitimate information is either being suppressed or outright censored. It’s up to others to listen and respond accordingly or research the information themselves if they can.

      We are facing evil head on these days disguised in so many ways. I am also grateful to Fr. Ripperger for explaining about the evil forces we are up against.

      It is truly demonic that your friend’s nursing home is requiring the visitors of their residents to get the vaccine.

      I guess it is providence that inspired President Trump to proclaim the 850th Anniversary of St. Thomas Becket of his martyrdom yesterday. I hope this serves as inspiration for the rest of us and our resolve to fight for faith, family, and freedom. It appears this fight is here now at our doorstep. And it may require martydom. I just don’t know if I am up to that test yet.

        I just got back from a walk with a close friend and fellow Catholic mom. I told her about the death of the vaccinated mother who died this morning. In our conversation I told her all I know that I learned from Father Ripperger…. her ultimate response is that our Bishop approved it….

        Which is true. The Bishop of Harrisburg PA referred to the USCCB ruling condoning the vaccines…..

        On a good note my other friend is trying to derail her fathers upcoming vaccination.

        Seems they’re executing et vaccinating the elderly in nursing homes….

  35. A late Christmas greeting from me to all of you here. I had colon surgery Dec. 23 and was miraculously released to go home on Christmas Day. I say “miraculous” because there were some complications with anesthesia causing problems in recovery and a rapid response team being called during the night before I went home. But, here I am, grateful to have come home and on Christmas Day! I would love to join all who go to D.C., but hope to watch online and in real time what goes on there.       1. Thank you, Juls. My computer has been acting strangely too. I’ve had problems with my phone, but that’s been happening for several years, no matter if it’s a new phone or an older one. Probably the carrier. Anyway, I appreciate your prayer. Coming along very well with some ups and downs, which I understand is pretty normal. I’ve been pushing myself a bit. Chased the guys out of the kitchen on about Day 4 post surgery. I want to get healthy and strong to face the challenges ahead of us. Some family will not visit me due to them wanting to be vaccinated first, but they are actually trying to get me vaccinated at the same time. Just realized that I might not be seeing some of my friends or family if I don’t go along with their vaccination plans. Anyway, thanks for your kind and thoughtful words.
