Then War Broke Out in Heaven

war broke out in heaven

By Charlie Johnston

Last Sunday was a very important anniversary – the first of the great Revelation 12 event of a year ago, the event I count as the beginning of Rescue. Fr. Richard Heilman wrote a magnificent piece on the subject a few days before it arrived.

Thirteen days after this great sign appeared in the sky, the flood of revelations over the evil, sexualized rot at the heart of our culture began with the outing of the depredations of Harvey Weinstein. The light has been shown throughout the culture this last year, revealing the depth and the breadth of the rot. Credible allegations have now been made that a “homosexual mafia” has been waging war on the faith and the faithful from inside the Catholic Church now for several generations – and that many predators have risen to top levels of leadership. Horribly, credible accusations have been made that the current Pope has knowingly enabled and promoted the worst of the predators. In the temporal world, it was mostly leftist figures in politics, media, and entertainment who were brought down by the revelation of serial sexual predation.

The revelations have put the battle lines into sharp resolution. But the devil is not content to slip quietly away. Shame is not his thing. Pope Francis, sadly, does not refute the allegations – nor does he maintain the silence he said he would keep to on the subject. Oh, he is absolutely mum when it comes to refuting the charges. But he attacks those who ask for answers as satanically inspired. He continues to focus on political matters rather than matters of faith AND continues to encourage those prelates who attack traditional Magisterial teaching while berating those who uphold it. I respect it when someone makes a case for Pope Francis having some subtle strategy I have not divined – but I am disgusted by those who compare his silence to that of Jesus. Yeah, right…it would be just the same had Jesus been credibly accused of promoting and covering for molesters and child abusers. That argument bluntly smacks of blasphemy and is an affront to Our Lord. Would that Pope Francis would rouse himself from his slumber and defend the faith – both in word and in deed!

On the political left, Democrats have become a snarling, howling mob of beasts with no sense of honor or decency. This has been a stunning development for me. I used to be friends with a lot of Democrats. I sometimes collaborated with Democrat officials on particular policy initiatives – and worked with them on items of mutual interest. I have been utterly shocked that almost all of them have eagerly become part of the howling, shrieking mob that has no principles at all except the gaining and retention of power. I will NOT succumb to the puerile efforts at even-handedness by suggesting there are abuses on both sides. Almost ALL the violence, all the assault on basic freedoms, all the assault on due process, all the assault on honor and decency are coming from the political left. I will not let the venial sins of the right persuade me that they are equivalent to the constant mortal sins of the left. I used to wonder if it were possible for an entire political party to become possessed. I no longer wonder very much. Other than Alan Dershowitz and Mark Penn, there are no Democrats I respect at all any more. They either are participating in the savage attack on honor and decency or are consenting to it.

As usual, though, not all things are as they seem. The anti-Christian corrupt predators who have occupied the Vatican think that, by openly doubling down on their depravity and their contempt for Magisterial teaching, they can prevail. Some of this cabal threatened that, if we “satanic” laity continued demanding answers, that some of those answers would reflect badly on some of our heroes, such as Pope Emeritus Benedict and St. John Paul – and that the cabal would not hesitate to smear these great men. So they have done.

I have said repeatedly that God’s ways are not man’s ways. If we had had a notably orthodox Bishop chosen as Pope in the wake of Benedict’s resignation, the predators would have remained in hiding. Remember, the infamous McCarrick, at the Dallas Conference in 2002 played the role of impassioned reformer, even as he quietly continued his serial predations. The main virtue of Francis’ papacy so far has been to convince the predators that they were winning – and that it was safe for them to come out of hiding – openly revealing themselves to all of us.

Most of today’s corrupt Bishops were originally appointed by St. John Paul (which is a VERY different thing from saying most of the Bishops he appointed were corrupt – they were not). The cabal was being very careful to stay in hiding and protect each other at the time – to show a very different face to the world and their orthodox colleagues than they showed to each other. St. John Paul and Pope Benedict came from a time when it was LITERALLY unthinkable that such abuses could be widespread in the Church. John Paul risked summary execution by the Nazis by attending the secret seminary in occupied Poland. Benedict literally came of age during the Nazi oppression and atrocities. For men who risked it all to become holy Priests and servants of God, it was literally unimaginable that this abuse could have infected and then taken firm root in the hierarchy. It is a very different thing to advance men who have carefully masked their evil intentions and to knowingly advance men with such evil intentions. Sorrowfully, St. John Paul did the former. Pope Francis has gleefully and un-repentantly done the latter – and continues to dare the world to do anything about it. It has been credibly posited that when Pope Benedict was confronted with the evidence of how deep and broad the corruption had become, that was when he decided to resign, thinking the Church would need a younger, more vigorous man than he to tackle this awful mountain of abuse. Certainly, his resignation announcement came within days of being presented with the horrific 300-page dossier expounding how bad it truly is. But God had a better plan.

Even as I write this, the left savagely and gleefully engages in the character assassination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh by assertion and without evidence. They know that they are just peddling lies and smears to ruin an ideological opponent. Senator Harry Reid, when confronted after the 2012 election with his bald lie about Mitt Romney paying no income tax, leered and responded that they “had won, hadn’t they?” The entire Democrat Party has adopted his eager willingness to openly lie to attain his ends as its code of ethics. I no longer have anything but contempt for them.

It is possible for evil miscreants in both the Church hierarchy and in politics to do what they do because they do not believe in God at all. Thus, they think there is no accounting for their actions except a temporal one if their opponents can summon the will and the courage – which they find most unlikely. If there is no God, then everything is about power. The only thing that is acceptable is to win – for in taking power, you wash away all the sins you committed in getting there. We have long known that the political left has become atheist and has no principle but seizing and wielding power. It has come as a shock to us that many in the Church hierarchy have adopted the same ethos: they think the Church is a man-made source of power and influence and that the only true virtue is to seize as much of it as they can.

But they have made a fatal miscalculation. God IS. The same God who, after the Revelation 12 event last year, lifted the veil on how bad things had truly become in the culture, politics and the Church, sits in His judgment throne watching how the evil miscreants react to their being exposed. They think they are winning by doubling down on their corruption – and are emboldened that they see no effective response to their depredations. They honestly think this all means they can be as vicious and evil as they want without having to bother to try to hide it any more. Ah, but God is merciful. He gives each man every opportunity to repent of the evil he has done, to come back. God is not indifferent to the depredations that mount exponentially these days. Rather, he is quietly demanding of each man, “Is this your final answer?”

If you don’t care how lying, how vicious, how evil your tactics are so long as it brings victory to your tribe, God is preparing, even now, to smite you. If you figure none of this is any of your business and so you are just going to go with the flow, the Lord is prepared to spew you out of His mouth, for you are neither hot nor cold. Only if you hold fast to God, stand strong and true in His service, and courageously go against the flow when the flow has become clearly satanic, will you be able to rest in his bosom in your integrity. Big things happened last year; bigger things are afoot this year.

I had lunch last Sunday after Mass with Michael Voris and four other men. Voris is the founder of Church Militant. We had been at a men’s breakfast together the Friday before. I had met him several times previously. His style is dramatically different than my own. I had often been put off by what I considered an over-aggressiveness and combativeness on his part, while recognizing the useful role he has often played. I was worried that some of the corrupt scoundrels might discredit him by feeding him some salacious, but false, bit in hopes he would jump eagerly on to it. In our visits this time, I was most impressed by his restraint, his determination to fully vet everything that comes his way. His style is certainly not my style, but he is most assuredly NOT a loose cannon. He is our William T. Sherman, boldly marching to the sea to secure the unity of our Church and the fidelity of its churchmen. (In fact, he even looks like some pictures of Sherman). I have put a link up to his site under the menu options.

As we go forward, do not let despair overcome you because some genuinely holy men were duped by evil men – nor let evil men persuade you that what they are actively doing is okay because good men had once been duped by them. It was errant and childish to believe that all was good and holy in the hierarchy (or in politics). It would be an equally grave (perhaps even greater) error to believe that nothing was ever good or holy. One of the satan’s great goals is to lead you into despair…not just to persuade you that something is not good, but that decency and goodness are not even possible. That is a hideous lie that has ensnared many. Don’t let it take you, too.

Understand that, however things seem, God is asking each of us if this is our final answer. Those who stand their posts with fortitude and fidelity, enduring through whatever winds and waves may come, are those who will be justified when the Lord moves His mighty hand – and that comes right soon. Be steadfast and do the work God lays in front of you. That is the only key to eternal advancement: it will soon become the key to temporal advancement, as well. Your redeemer simply awaits your final answer before striking. Aslan is on the move.

      1. Beckita. I saw his little speech today and honestly I almost screamed for joy. There is nothing like the fire of righteous indignation. God Bless Lindsay Graham…

          1. All of this, regardless of the vote outcome (and you betcha I am praying hard for every one on that Judiciary Committee to find God’s guiding voice in their hearts!), leads us up to the Rosary Coast to Coast next Sunday (Oct. 7). Let’s all use our weapon, Our Lady’s Rosary, during this historic event. Mick, still hope to see you there!!! Beckita, you mentioned in a previous post that you “tweeted” something out recently. Does ASOH have a Twitter Account? I’d share the Facebook event for the RC2C through it. Keep up the fight all, and take TNRS! God bless.

            1. Actually, billbad, I bump into tweets and read them, sometimes share them here, but I don’t tweet and, no, ASOH does not have a Twitter account. Great idea, though, to get the word out however one is able to do so.

      2. Can’t they swear in the Senate? or is that just too un-Statesmanlike? Why not? It’s obviously OK to accuse others of sexual assault, gang rape, bestiality, and even discuss porn actor’s genitalia (harkening back to Justice Thomas’ lynching-hearing). So what’s wrong with a few, colorful four-letter English expletives to drive home a point? Just saying.

It’s a bit odd to see Lindsay all fired up like this, but……I think I like it!!

        “Charade”? “Sham”?
Well, shucks, Lindsay…. far stronger words came to my mind. Why hold back, brother?

OK, Senator Graham did say “crap”, which was a good compromise.

And that particular sentence of his is so very true: “This is going to destroy the ability of good people to come forward because of this crap!” Bingo. Liberal schmucks would never, ever have to face such hideous attacks; only decent, ethical, God-loving individuals like Cavanaugh and Thomas. Republicans just don’t play this dirty.

Democrats truly are a bunch of fargin iceholes. 😮

        1. It sure was a heartfelt and truth-telling time when Graham spoke, Patrick. I observed that Lindsay’s forceful assessment of what had been going on actually quieted the chambers on both sides. The Democrats KNEW what he was saying was exactly true. The old: you could have heard a pin drop. Graham nailed it all precisely… the revelation to Brett Kavanaugh, in those moments, of just how long Feinstein had sat with that letter, the intent of Dr. Ford not to come public but “someone” leaked her letter – preceded by the surprise of the morning that Ford had no idea that she had had the option to have the senate send a team to her to gather testimony with Rachel Mitchell’s noting that an easier testimony for Ford would have been an opportunity for an uninterrupted telling of her story rather than 5 minute snippets of interaction – Graham’s calling out of the Democratic strategy in THEIR OWN WORDS: “What you want to do is destroy this guy’s life, hold this seat open, and hope you win in 2020,” noting too Schumer’s declaration 20 minutes after Kavanaugh was nominated that Schumer and the affirmation of how Kavanaugh and his family had been dragged through hell… and more.

There are still too many Democrats who do not fear God. Praying, not in a self-righteous way, for we all need the chastisements. We do. But praying that soon, and very soon, this sick societal stew to which we’ve all contributed in some way, becomes the sweet aroma of a Godly people rebuilding a culture of life. Maranatha!

          1. Yeah, Lindsay was fired up and almost shaking, and boy was everyone listening! Like Justice Thomas’ righteous excoriation of Jokin’ Joe Biden and the Senate in 1991…it was intense to watch. I caught the tail end of the circus show as the Republicans calmly brought up the leaked letter and then sat back as Feinstein stumbled about confidentiality and sounded like a lying fool. She got totally busted in that moment! That was priceless.

And the last exchange was cool too: Sen. John Kennedy (R-Louisiana) took the floor and asked Kavanaugh if he believes in God. Kavanaugh said yes. Sen. Kennedy then asked him, “before God,” to answer this question: “I want you to look me in the eye: Are Dr. Ford’s allegations true?” “They’re not accurate as to me,” Kavanaugh said. “I’ve never done this to her or anyone else.” (Exodus 20:16)

Well, it ain’t over. We still have to deal with the likes of Flake (aptly named), a McCain-style Republican (in other words, a liberal).

“Sick societal stew”….I like that line, B! Well, the aroma is nauseating. And someone tossed in a rotten fish and an old sneaker. It’s pretty much time to dump the whole batch down the toilet and start over.

Grab 2 bay leaves, fresh thyme, 3 carrots, 4 potatoes and 2 large onions from the garden. In a deep pot with a neutral oil, fry 1 clove of crushed garlic for a minute and remove. Then sear 1 pound of beef for stew, cubed, until browned or you can brown in an oven at 500 degree. Remove the beef from the pot and add the vinegar and wine. Cook over medium-high heat, scraping the pan with a wooden spoon to loosen any browned bits. Add the beef, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a slow simmer. Cover and cook, skimming broth from time to time, until the beef is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Add the onions and carrots and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Add the potatoes and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes more. Add broth or water if the stew is dry. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Ladle among 4 bowls and serve.

Patrick modification: I like to chop another clove of fresh garlic and after I ladle the stew into the bowls, I top it with a bit of raw garlic in each one.

        2. I read an article and study (within the past year) that concluded that people who use cuss words/profanity are more intelligent than those who don’t. I had already concluded after a quick scan and accompanying sigh that it was just another sign of the times. I read it in detail anyway to be fair, yet couldn’t help but come to the same conclusion.

I say this having been known to sometimes cuss like a drunken sailor, but… hey, there was a time or three in the distant past when i was quite literally a drunken sailor.

Here, as in all cases, I try to look to the perfect role model, Jesus, and don’t see Him uttering a single profanity. Ever. So, that should be the goal.

I caught Graham’s whole bit live and became transfixed as it built to a crescendo. At one point the camera panned to certain members of the committee who, heads down to a person, could not hold his gaze. The weaker part of me savored the delicious scolding, including a couple of those choice words, while the better part was simply unruffled, attentive and alert.

What Graham had going for him was that he was speaking truth and I don’t begrudge the tone he used… so necessary to rebuke the snakes in that chamber… as well as rousing the deaf, dumb and blind who follow them without using the faculties God graced them with.

At any rate, there’s still much, much more to come.

          1. Well, MP, If cussing is a sign of intelligence, then I’m a frigging genius! 🤓

Actually, I’ve really tempered my cussing these past 10 years since coming home to the faith. Saw my dad curse a lot when I was little – over football games, so it’s somehow ingrained my personality. And I realize it is also an indicator of my mental health. But as I try to stay on the Path, I’ve really learned to hold my wickedly sharp tongue. The inclination to cuss and deride for me is so instinctive, as with many of us, but I’m reigning it in. I’m also not angry on the road much any more like I used to be.

Perhaps our level of anger and cussing is an indication of how close we are to God.

Strange is that strong need to express our displeasure through vulgar words. In Lindsay’s case, he was absolutely right and justified – yet maintained his dignity. And the angry guy in me very much enjoyed watching him let the Dems have it! But no…. Jesus, Mary, and Saint Joseph never cursed or even spoke badly about other people. They did not think in this way, and so they would not speak in this way either. They loved and they prayed….and this is difficult for sinners to imagine.

I’ll keep working on it. If I truly and dearly love everybody including my enemies, then the thought of swearing at or about someone else should completely vanish….eventually.

May my IQ one day drop to 0. 😇

Oh, and how did you miss Graham’s four-letter word? Didn’t you hear him say h-e-double-toothpicks?

I never in my life thought that I’d have cause to stand and cheer for Lindsey Graham. I’m glad he proved me wrong. I hope the “New Graham” sticks around permanently; I like him so much better than the old model.

      3. I have often thought Lindsey Graham a weak excuse for a senator. Today he showed the faint spark of a true statesman. Yes, there is hope.
As a side note, our members of Congress need to drop the pretentious title of “Honorable”. Most ain’t!

        1. Oh, CG… in light of our previous goofing on Corey Booker, your comment is the most hilarious thing that I’ve read in quite a while! But seriously, Graham did have an actual Spartacus moment; and that fact must really be goring Booker’s ox.

          1. He really did Mick! I was so proud of him. He is usually so mild mannered that I have always wanted him to display a little more ‘depth’ or spunk. Got my wish and then some! Lion of Judah.
On another note… Did you get to the Made For Happiness conference? I saw that 14,000 people attended with 4,000 in the Eucharistic procession from the cathedral. Made my heart sing! I so wanted to be there. Our daughter and son-in-law who have 8 kids had a chance to get away for a long weekend and asked us to step in. Since they rarely have that opportunity and really needed it, it seemed like the NRS for us. I offered the chaos in union with all prayers of the weekend. 😄

            1. Yes, CG, I was able to get to the Made for Happiness conference. It was fantastic! My 19-year-old daughter offered to stay home with the two little kids, so the other 4 of us were able to go. From what I heard (granted, it was before the procession was finished; so maybe they had a better estimate later), there were closer to 5,000 people in the procession. The entire event was truly incredible, and our good bishop inspired us with his words and actions (including prostrating himself in front of the Blessed Sacrament, in reparation for sins committed by priests and bishops). I wish you could have been there, but it’s so wonderful that your daughter can count on you to pitch in with the kiddos. I hope that when I have grandkids, they live close enough so that I can help out like that. 🙂

  1. Something important happened today. I think men and women of good faith are all standing up and saying “enough!”

Lindsey Graham voiced what I think millions of us felt together as we watched the diabolical persecution of Judge Kavanaugh and his family.

    Enough!

    1. I agree with you, Tom. As I watched Kavanaugh’s half of the hearing, it was as if a fire were being lit both underneath and within those of good will at the hearing. And those of ill will were easy to pick out (I mean those like Booker, Harris, and Blumenthal, etc.): one could almost see the evil welling up within them and being unleashed on Kavanaugh.

I gotta say, both my husband and I teared up when Kavanaugh talked about his 10-year-old telling her sister that they should pray for Blasey Ford. Out of the mouths of babes….

      1. I agree completely! Their evil intent was palpable and visible. Hopefully all people of good will could see through the diabolical pretense. It made Sen. Graham’s spontaneous and eloquent judgement a moment in which we could weep for joy. Wasn’t Judge Kavanaugh’s face radiant with relief and hope hearing the truth pronounced after all his family’s suffering? Beautiful! Even beatific!

These are apocalyptic hours indeed. We will each embrace the light and joy of Truth, or we will struck down by it’s radiance.

Already media sources are comparing today’s Kavanaugh hearing to 9/11, or an open salvo of (political) war. Everyone is beginning to see. As Charlie said, we will tell our children and grandchildren of these days, of the miracles seen with our own eyes.

      2. Oops… just figured out that Kavanaugh’s daughter was praying with her mother, not her sister. Bing!

I still chuckle when I think about that episode of “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader.” The adult contestant had to do some counting to answer a question, so the guy is going through each finger, and he says to Jeff, “I might have to take off my socks and use my toes.”

Without missing a beat, Jeff ad-libs: “Well lets hope you don’t have to count to 21.”

    1. Thanks for this link, Bob. If you believe in the locutions to Fr. Gobbi, (which I do, particularly due to the fruits which have poured forth from the Marian Movement of Priests that Fr. Gobbi was asked to establish which had no real headquarters but has at least 400 cardinal and bishop members and over 100,00 laity who meet weekly, praying the Rosary for conversion and purification, among other spiritual practices) the Freemasons are at the very root of today’s problems. Our Lady spoke of the reality of “ecclesiastical masonry” and forewarned of troubles in the highest echelons of the hierarchy. The Freemasons are everywhere in societies and the occult practices at the highest levels include black Masses, a source of invitation to demonic influences.

I have thought lately more than once, that it sounded as though I was listening to a Mason. Don’t be fooled by their “good works”, The “G” in their symbol does NOT stand for God, (it’s gnosis). They too can be converted, however, for “nothing is impossible with God”!

  3. I watched the hearing today and cried. It was painful to watch judge K. swallow his tears.

There was an internal feeling of something deeply wrong
    I bet everybody felt it.

I felt this heaviness and deep sadness once before when In dismay I watched Obama winning his second term .

It was like invisible evil touched the nation.

I prayed during the hearing God gives strength to judge K.

Please pray for my daughter she will be seeing mrs. Stella Davis Catholic evangelist this weekend.

I beg God for my daughter’s healing.

Thank you Charlie and Beckita for shining light on things during these dark times. 🌸😀❤️

I may be naive, but I don’t understand how your post has anything to do with Kavanaugh, unless it is because he is a Republican!

    1. It has nothing to do with Kavanaugh being a Republican, Diane. It has to do with the demonic frenzy with which ALL the Democrats have gone to smear and destroy a man with no evidence. It is a sign of the times. I would – and have – defended anyone, including people with which I disagree from such a ferocious unmerited attack. I did it for some Democrats when I was in radio. In fact, once when an ugly demagogue was viciously making things up about a Democratic administration in Waukegan, Illinois, I gave him time on my show. It did not go well for him because I demanded evidence – and I actually knew the details on most of the things which he was lying about and making up. He thought I would go along because I was a Republican – and so was he. Later that day, the city administrator called me (a man who had once called me an SOB on the city council floor) and told me with glee that everyone at City Hall has been listening – at his behest…for he had told everybody that “Charlie ain’t gonna buy this crap…he’s smart and tough but he doesn’t go for cheap shots.” When ever such an unjustified frenzy erupts, the satan is involved. It is hideous that this is not happening in some small city or region, but at the highest levels of government – and joined by all the members of a single party.

      1. In as much as it hideous, as indeed it is, it is a blessing. I see the clear division as God’s blessing to unequivocally give each of us a choice between blessing or curse, life or death. We can have no excuse when asked, “Who did you choose?”

  8. Thank you Charlie for your insight into the goings on, on the political front as well as our poor Holy Mother Church.

I was glad to read you and Michael Voris are acquainted, and able to examine the unfolding revelations especially in our Church. I must confess, I have a problem with Church Militant coming out and demanding the Holy Father resign, and had a dialogue by email on this very topic.

But investigating and reporting on prelates who have betrayed the Faith and the people of God, as well as betraying the Holy Fathers is another story. This betrayal has been going on before Pope Francis was elected. Good faithful prelates would not have guided and advised Holy Father into this terrible minefield of confrontation and terror for the beloved sheep and lambs of the Lord. IMHO.

It is interesting to read how some democrats in the American government are pure evil. I don’t really know them not living in USA; but Blumenthal and the female who kept the accusatory letter secret until the eleventh hour came across as pure evil. The faces of Blumenthal and that female on the council gave me the creeps, while the other democrats came across as lackeys marching in obedience to an agenda.

My gut feeling is, yesterday will convince some of those democrats to vote ‘yes’ to Judge Kavanagh.

God bless you Charlie, and God bless Michael V. Rightly or wrongly Michael V is in it to win it as they say without counting the cost. I have to respect and admire him for that. Just wish he could take his sights of the Holy Father because that gives me the creeps.

Thank you for bringing up the authenticity of Michael Voris. I have always winced a little at the delivery but the message is pure. We need more MVs and fewer Bill Donohues.
Yesterday’s circus was appalling but you warned us there would be times that we would not be able to stomach events and not to exclude violence from our expectations. The virulent attempt to take down anything that smacks of goodness is eye-opening. My dad was a life long Democrat and supporter of all things Democrat. He died in 1993. I have often said that due to his personal holiness I can honestly say that if he were to be alive today he would jump to the other camp. He must be spinning in his grave over the state of the clergy in our mother church and his beloved country.

If you don’t see the signs of the times, you’re not looking.

  10. Charlie! What an amazing well said piece. So much so quick and so much more to go. The fight is now in the open, the heat has been turned up. And finally, people have stood up and said “We are not gonna take it any longer!” Recently people saw a strange happening at the McCain funeral, when Huma Abadee came up to Lindsey Graham, through the crowd, hugged him and said something in his ear. Much to Graham’s chagrin, McAllister and Kelly had their eyes on this and Gen. Kelly pointed his two fingers to his own eyes, then shot his index finger across (the ‘I am watching you sign”) pointing to Graham who looked about to see if he was being noticed. Why did this women approach him in such a familiar way…and why did she linger to say something to him??? So when Graham went off, yesterday to show anger and disgust at the group of demonic minions, I wondered if this was actual anger or a ‘show’ for a reason. MY heart was ripped out of my chest when I watched this gentle good man being eviscerated in front of the world, and done with shear glee. We all know we were watching a modern version of the Passion of our Lord. Where no amount of goodness, could stop the shear evil that was before us. But then we come back to our own, and we own this issue…our Church! We the laity, the Body of Christ, who must buckle up, gird up and strap up to get ready to do battle. There is no time left, no back paddling, and I have asked the Holy Spirit for more fortitude and faith to go on. We are where we are, and we had better be where we are supposed to be. Thanks again, Charlie.

    1. Thank you, Beckita. I love the Archangels! I have always kind of envisioned them as God’s ninjas.

I am partial to St. Raphael.

Five years ago, my son had surgery for a long-term pediatric hip problem he had been living with. As a result of the surgery, he developed a nasty infection that would not go away. He suffered through 3 more surgeries and a pic line inserted directly into his blood stream for strong antibiotics and still nothing was helping. We were at our wits end and our surgeon was beginning to look for ways to push us off to someone else. We felt helpless.

I read about St. Raphael, who is often called the Medicine of God. There is a ministry dedicated to St. Raphael in Massachusetts in which they offer a sacramental oil for healing. They sent me some and I anointed my son and prayed for St. Raphael’s intercession. Miraculously after a year of trials and errors, he began responding to an oxygen therapy we had come across. After a summer of treatment, his infection subsided and the surgical incision finally healed.

I pray to St. Raphael often now and call him my friend. I hope some day I get to meet him in person.

Have you ever noticed how God sends St. Gabriel at highly significant times in salvation history?

    2. I have to brag on my Bishop Daly regarding Archangel Michael,
      From our diocesan website:

Saturday September 29th- Day of Prayer and Fasting
As we continue to hear stories of abuse and corruption within the Church, I would like to designate Saturday, September 29th as a day of prayer and fasting throughout eastern Washington. I chose that date because September 29th is the Feast of the Archangels. Tradition holds up the Archangel Michael in particular as someone whom we should invoke to help us in our fight against evil. I believe that the Pennsylvania Grand Jury report and the removal of Archbishop McCarrick from ministry as well as other accounts of corruption in our Church reveal a diabolical aspect to the present crisis. In the Gospel of Saint Mark, Jesus said that some demonic forces can only be driven out through prayer and fasting.

I, therefore, encourage all of you to join me in prayer and fasting on September 29th for our Church. May these spiritual works serve as a solid foundation for ongoing renewal.

Asking for the prayers of Our Lady of Lourdes, patroness of our diocese, I remain,

      In Christ,

      Bishop Daly

  13. Charlie- I made a comment a couple of days ago about not knowing which Catholic outlets are accurate and genuine and which ones are sensationalist and tabloid. Church Militant is the main one I was unsure about. A couple weeks ago a priest whom I admire and was blessed enough to be at a retreat that he gave (Fr. Larry Richards) spoke disparagingly about Church Militant. That made me question it. I’m glad you find it worthwhile. I’ll continue to visit their site.

    1. Well, it is a tough site that is always on offense. It will never be my style or approach…but it has been proved right all too often. My instinct is to be, first, a diplomat. Voris’ instinct is to be, first, a warrior. There is a place and use for both – so long as both are committed to vetting their facts. And in this case, both are.

      Liked by 11 people

      1. Michael Voris is a warrior and thank God for him. You want the truth, you’ll find it at Church Militant. You can’t handle the truth, unless its sugar coated? Well, then stay with EWTN.

Father Larry Richards…(edited out a phrase) went ballistic against CM. He slandered many good, faithful Catholics. Very sad display.

        1. I understand disappointment and disgust, San San. I edited out a phrase in respect to Fr. Larry Richards who is a priest in good standing and has done great work in the Church as a faithful priest. Too, I’m uncomfortable with the statement about EWTN. Each apostolate has people with different styles of delivery. EWTN, also, has done excellent work in evangelizing both Catholics and non-Catholics.

    2. I think that part of the challenge is that the world is reaching (or maybe has reached) the pinnacle of pride.

Look at Holy Scripture. Is it not all there? Of course it’s all there. Nothing can be added or taken away. One needs to simply read and contemplate His Words with an upright spirit. Sure, it can be difficult, but probably because we want it to conform to our understanding — due to our pride.

Our expectations. Our outcomes. Our timeframes. Our concerns… or at least as they encompass our territory. It’s understandable (hey, we’re human) to grope for understanding, but let’s all be careful that we’re not simply looking to make it more pliable, more suited to our limited/flawed thinking.

Ahh, this one speaks to me… or that one… or that one speaks to me, etc. That is not to say that these folks are not of good will… that God does not inspire, motivate and speak through them. Certainly he does so through the ones he chooses. Sometimes even the least likely, as Charlie has pointed out.

I think that Mallett was right on in one of his latest posts. It is all about Jesus. Nothing makes sense without Jesus.

There was a time (and many of us have been around from the start of TNRS) that we couldn’t get enough of Jesus and Holy Scripture here. Honestly, I think we’ve gotten off path a bit.

There is most definitely a place and use for all. Our Lord will show us all quite clearly our place, if we let Him. I know firsthand, it can be a painful growth curve but grow we must.

I don’t follow Voris, so it’s a non issue for me. I do have the benefit of having met Charlie, so I can easily attach the down-to-earth (often mirthful) delivery and tone to all of his writings. Clearly he is of good will and does his homework. That’s good enough for me, although I don’t necessarily agree with everything he says, much less hang on his every word.

Still, it’s a beautiful thing when I can recognize Wisdom speaking through him… or anyone for that matter.

      1. I think constantly about what you speak of here, Michael. I tried very hard to prepare people for extraordinary times – and the only way to prepare is to be focused on Christ. Yet I knew it would lead to battle…and when the battle rages, you must put the principles you espouse into action. It is all too easy to shrink from the field of battle when it comes by saying, well, I’m going to just go pray – completely neglecting the prayer of doing. St. Joan of Arc had Mass said every day – but she never quit the battle to do so. She neglected neither worship nor the prayer of doing.

It is not an easy task to focus on both without neglecting one or the other – and I am constantly aware of it. I sometimes think, “Okay, I have emphasized this enough for a while – so I need to turn to the other.” The truth is, we must focus on both, for the battle is on…and we will be held accountable both for what we do and what we fail to do.

And what do you mean you don’t hang on my every word?! 😉

        Liked by 11 people

        1. Yes, I have espoused prayer here many a time. In this instance, sacred Scripture… The Voice amongst a seemingly endless choice of voices on the battlefield. Surely you know by now that I offer up these things as a matter of balance.

One does not only pray in the peace and solitude that the hidden room or wilderness trail provides. All of our day, our hard work and many challenges –– defeats maybe especially –– becomes prayer when we have that good will and desire, as you experienced on your long trek and many other legs of your journey in life.

And surely we all joined the battle –– the doing –– from the outset as we emerged from each of our ma’s birth canals. I mighta’ even popped out kicking and screaming. Life is difficult for all, whether or not appearances support that conclusion or a person chooses to reveal that much.

Definitely, not doing can become an imbalance as well. In the case of our newborn babes, I could do little more than bring them from the side table (where they underwent a quick checkover after C-sections) to hand them off to mom and offer some prayers. There’s the milk and nourishment, kiddos.

Now, the teen and young adult years. If it makes you feel any better, I am up to my eyeballs and fully engaged in battle, having benefited from preparatory and select words from you in addition to my go-to. Sacred Scripture.

Nah, never really hung on any of your words, but mighta’ ricocheted select stones off of choice words from time to time. Mighta’ even hit the mark once.

          1. Oh, I appreciate the comments, Michael. I know I have the loudest megaphone here, but we do have a dialogue – and what the community is thinking plays a big role in what I address most of the time. I’m glad I don’t just have my judgment alone to keep my balance.

As to hanging on my words, I once was talking to a fellow who told me, with some embarrassment, that he didn’t read everything I write. I grinned and told him, “Don’t worry…if I didn’t have to actually write everything I write I wouldn’t read it all, either.”

            Liked by 7 people

            1. Charlie, I believe I can honestly say that I read everything you write. 🙂 As always, this one is another great summary. I tell my husband that you’re such a good analyst about everything going on. I have to “feed” things to him gently, because as a convert he doesn’t understand a lot of this battle in the Church. But he sure knows about the battle in the political field that we’re watching.

          2. The battle sometimes begins right away during childbirth.

I saw something extremely disturbing yesterday…and I’m still quite shaken because the image is so strong in my mind.

I’m shadowing a gynecologist. This physician has easily delivered over 1500 babies. Yesterday, the doc said what happened in the delivery room was singularly the worst delivery ever.

The mom refused to have a well-advised c-section as the last baby was small and slipped out with no problem. This baby, however, was different….

The baby’s head came out fairly quickly once labor began, but his shoulder was hung up badly (shoulder dystocia). A nurse jumped up and straddled over the patient, applying suprapubic pressure while other nurses pulled the woman’s legs up and then quickly down, back and forth, at the physician’s forceful commands. The baby’s little face (which was facing toward me) quickly turned grayish-blue. For six agonizing minutes, the baby was strangled, not receiving oxygen. After a series of episiotomies and aggressive – almost violent – maneuvers by the gynecologist, the baby finally came out. It was several long minutes before we heard the newborn cry.

(Right before the baby came out, I remembered my job: I prayed a passionate Hail Mary. Then, still feeling desperate and anxious because I could do nothing but watch this unfold, I mentally pleaded with my guardian angel to get in there and help! Two pushes later, the baby was out.)

Afterward, legs shaking and tears in my eyes, all I could think of was: “I need a drink.” May I never see anything like that again.

We checked in on the little blond guy in NICU this morning. Thankfully, he is showing signs of good health, although we won’t know if there is any brain damage for some time.

Hats off to the doctors and the nurses who do the beautiful work of delivering God’s children into the world as safely as possible.

And especially to you amazing mothers who endure this miraculous trial.

I remember back at the beginning of 2017, after the failure of your inauguration prophecy and shortly before shutting down your TNRS blog, you lamented about the anger some had towards you over their decision to invest in property for the purpose of building a refuge for those fleeing the expected bedlam. I found this post on Fr. Z’s page and wondered if those properties may be of use for providing a refuge for faithful priest fleeing the persecution of their less-than-faithful bishops.

    1. I always told those who tried to make their own plans that they could not outsmart God – and to stick to the next right step. For those who generously used their resources now to prepare to help people later, I congratulated and encouraged them. The good we do honorably is never lost in God’s economy – though it often turns out it is not used for the purpose we originally intended. This is how focusing on the next right step can free us from worry rather than add to our anxiety.

  15. I suffered ( yes suffered) through the many hours of proceedings of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday and today. This is what I have observed: for the most part, the Republican side defended Judge Kavanaugh while remaining compassionate toward Dr. Ford. For the most part, the Democratic side on the other hand, robustly beat Judge Kavanaugh with their calculated words while pouring praise upon Dr. Ford. This country is at a turning point. Truth has been hidden for so long, that no one knows Truth anymore. Truth is unrecognizable. Both Kavanaugh and Ford spoke from the heart, no doubt. But only one has the Whole truth. I believe with all my heart that Judge Kavanaugh is innocent. It appears something happened to Dr. Ford but I don’t believe Kavanaugh was involved.
We need to ‘pray without ceasing’
In this decisive moment. The fight is not between flesh and blood. It is a fight for the eternal.

  16. We saw a lot of lying going on in that hearing yesterday.

The assault on Judge Kavanaugh was mercless and vicious. Coordinated. Planned. Deliberate. Diabolical. A diabolical ATTACK on full display because the spiritual stakes are so high in the case of the Supreme Court and Brett Kavanaugh in particular.

The demonic assault on Kavanaugh was based on lies, oft repeated. A scaffold of lies. Innuendo. Allegation. Calumnification. Character assassination. Bold and brassy and quite obvious.

The objective of The Attack: Stop Brett Kavanaugh in his tracks.

    The weapon: Lies.

There were a lot of human minions involved in this Attack on Judge Kavanaugh. A lot of minions participating in the lies and the calumny with the intention of destroying Kavanaugh.

The hearing was a spectacle of The Lie vs The Truth.

Big lies. Little lies. Lies of ommission. Lies of deflection. Subversive lies.

So one is driven to contemplate the Spiritual consequence of lying. What impact does telling a lie have on one’s immortal soul?

Turns out from reading up on lies that all lies are not spiritually equal. There is a dividing line … cal it a red line … which is nowhere written down … when a lie crosses from venial into mortal threat. Context. Intent. Degree of harm caused. How do we know if the red line is crossed? We’ll know it when we see it and feel it.

    Catechism:

2483 Lying is the most direct offense against the truth. To lie is to speak or act against the truth in order to lead someone into error. By injuring man’s relation to truth and to his neighbor, a lie offends against the fundamental relation of man and of his word to the Lord.

2484 The gravity of a lie is measured against the nature of the truth it deforms, the circumstances, the intentions of the one who lies, and the harm suffered by its victims. If a lie in itself only constitutes a venial sin, it becomes mortal when it does grave injury to the virtues of justice and charity.

2485 By its very nature, lying is to be condemned. It is a profanation of speech, whereas the purpose of speech is to communicate known truth to others. The deliberate intention of leading a neighbor into error by saying things contrary to the truth constitutes a failure in justice and charity. The culpability is greater when the intention of deceiving entails the risk of deadly consequences for those who are led astray.

We saw a lot of lying yesterday. Lots and lots of lying. The tool and weapon of the Devil in the war for souls. I don’t know how some of those minions can manage to sleep at night. It seems many of them are far gone not worried or concerned one whit about the consequences of their actions and words on their immortal souls. Inured. In some sense quite pitiable. They know not what they are doing or if they do they could care less.

On the other hand we saw a lot of Truth in yesterday’s hearing. Much of it synthesized in Lindsey Graham’s (not one of my favorite politicians) 5 minute indictment of the extent and purpose of persecution of the U.S. Senate’s dismaying attempted murder of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s life and career and character.

A spectacle of the Lie on the Attack and the Truth on the Defense.

I regret to say that The Attack on Judge Kavanaugh will not end with this hearing. It may grow even more vicious and nasty and damaging. The Judge seems to know it. It will not end until the day he dies. He faces a life long struggle ahead of him. He is targeted. He needs to understand that and be prepared for the next in a succession of battles and offensives designed and crafted by the Devil to destroy him and claim his soul. He had a look of resolve on his face as he picked up his notes and left the table. No matter what the outcome.

The good news is that no matter what the outcome of this confirmation vote Brett Kavanaugh also knows that he is surrounded by a shield of love on both the human and supernatural/spiritual planes of existence. He will be strengthened to persevere to the end. To fight the good fight.

    1. I agree with you, Ed, that the attacks against Brett Kavanaugh will continue even if he is confirmed for the Supreme Court seat. But I don’t think there will be a life long struggle for him. Rather, I think when this Storm ends, Kavanaugh and all people of good will who have been purified will joyfully unite in the building of a culture of life. A bright future awaits all who are allowed by God to walk into the New Tomorrow of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

    2. I’m with you, Storm Tracker Ed. Also with your previous comment about ATTACKS. I think that, looking back, many of us who struggle daily to be faithful to Jesus and love our neighbor as ourselves, will recall the past years as one crescendo of diabolical attacks in our everyday lives. Brutal. Ruinous. Exhausting. Learning to make do with only the manna for today, and only hope for tomorrow. Purgatory here and now, I think. The more the disciples of God can see it clearly, name it, and pray against it, the more these ATTACKS lose their power. Thanks for elucidating so we’ll what many of us see and live.

    3. Ed, one of my favorite Kavanaugh moments from the hearing was: “Some have noted that I didn’t list Church on my calendars. I also didn’t list brushing my teeth. But for me, going to church was LIKE brushing my teeth: automatic. Still is.”

Kavanaugh’s middle name is Michael, so today is his “name day.” Perhaps one way that each of us who are so inclined could help Kavanaugh today would be to say the St. Michael the Archangel prayer for his needs and intentions.

        1. Unfortunately, in blind rage, I doubt the libs would care, Kim. May Our Lord and Our Lady make a way that the libs hear via our prayers for conversion and salvation. Truth is, if they do not listen now, it will not be a pretty encounter when they are visited by the Lord. The Kavanaugh’s ten year old daughter has demonstrated the remedy for the oppressors.

  17. When we begin veneration of the relics of Saint Padre Pio tonight, I will ask for his intercession…

    ✝️ for all the needs and prayers of the faithful souls of A Sign of Hope;
✝️ for Pope Francis and our embattled Church; and
    ✝️ for our beloved country.

Saint Padre Pio, pray for us!

  19. There’s a statement on the home page for the website of the Diocese of Salina, Kansas which conveys why Bishop Gerald L. Vincke has taken in former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick to live a life of prayer and penance in a friary. May Archbishop McCarrick, truly, come to know the Mercy of God. https://salinadiocese.org/

    1. Let us pray for the former Cardinal McCarrick. He has committed grave sins indeed from the evidence and eternity is a long time. So let’s pray he is given the grace to repent so as not to spend his eternity in hell. We do have a duty to pray for sinners, even for those like myself whose sins were once very repulsive to God.

  20. I’ve just finished making a ton of meatballs and sauce for my sons birthday party this Sunday. Happily, the recipe called for some wine and so I am sitting here with a small tea cup full, because I am just so classy, and I read this article. The whole world has gone mad. So infuriating! How do I fight this? What does this mean for someone like me? Someone who raises a family and has absolutely no power over anything but the weekly dinner menu. I always witness to the truth with kindness whenever that is called for, but I really am just a nobody! As much as I would LOVE to slash away with a sword, that’s not what I’m supposed to be doing right now. My job is to create territory for God to launch His attack from. My job is to create a small place where God has a strong foothold, to banish evil, pursue sanctity and stay a steady and true course for my family through whatever lies ahead. This is not something I’d rather be doing. I’d rather be someone who works on the front lines and tells people how it is and what to do. Instead, over and over again I’ve been shown that the path for me is subtler, that I’m not supposed to be Truth’s Herald right now. Over and over again God has kept me humble, right down to the day I opened my door to a Jehova’s Witness all prepared with my apologetics stuff . . . and the second I opened the door, I instantly lost my voice. Also, the guy called me ‘sir’. I do not look like a ‘sir’ AT ALL. No soul for you! Ha. Anyway, I get the strong feeling that my job is to work quietly behind the scenes, not out of fear, but out of a sense of God’s Will. Who knows, as the battleground gets smaller and closer to home, it might just be that there will come a time when I’m supposed to help organize support for our troops or something. I wish I could lecture and wake people up. I wish I could run for office and make a difference. I have the heart of a lion, but the station of a mouse. So be it. I’ll be the bravest mouse you ever saw as long as I stay within the Will of God. I’m talking about myself here, but I mean that anyone who is feeling kind of small and useless right now should take heart in the fact that we are preparing holy ground, building spiritual tanks with our families, setting up supply lines to those at the front . . . that kind of thing.

During a lecture at a catechetical conference that I attended so many years ago, a priest used an analogy that I still remember and appreciate today. He said that God has given us each a cup full of talent (to be used in service to Him of course). He added, some cups are the size of steins and others are the size of thimbles. 😉

    2. Katherine your story is in many ways a template of action for all of us to follow. I admire your approach.

it’s hard for us all to make sense of what is happening in our world today.

Some themes I am beginning to see emerge if only through a dark and foggy mirror. .

There is a battle going on between Good and Evil. It is a battle for souls. What’s at stake is not territory or maps or geopolitical or ideological hegemony. It is not Capitalism vs Communism. It is not Democracy vs Totalitarianism. It is not Democrat vs Republican. It is not Conservative vs Liberal. It is not East vs West. It is not Left vs Right. It is not primarily political or economic although all those areas of human existence have become battlefields of the main struggle.

The main struggle is for souls. Yours, mine and the every individual on this planet. Simply put it is a war of Good v Evil. Of God v Not God. Of Life v Death. Eternal Life v Eternal Death. It is a battle for all the marbles.

This battle is being played out in part on the Supernatural level in a titanic struggle of spiritual beings and forces we can only vaguely understand. Perhaps we don’t want to even know what is transpiring on the Supernatural plane of reality. One can only dimly imagine the nature and scope and casualties piled up in some kind of titanic struggle between angels and demons. I think if we could clearly observe and understand the Supernatural front of this War for Souls the spectacle and the reality would horrify and terrorize us into a paralyzed stupor of fear, dread and horror. Personally, I am very thankful that I can’t see it or hear it or even really comprehend that fight and its consequences. I would fall down on my face in a trembling lump of jelly.

I believe that all of Heaven is engaged in a titanic real war to save our souls from eternal Death. My soul. I think of Jesus on the Cross and the sacrifice and pain and suffering endured to redeem me and remit the my sins. Hard to think of sacrifice on that level spreading to all the Angels and Saints and Martyrs and the Church Triumphant in Heaven.

“Then WAR broke out in Heaven. Michael and his angels fought the Dragon. And the Dragon fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in Heaven.”

That Supernatural War is going on right now at this minute.

The War for Souls on the Natural plane has been underway since Adam. The Natural Plane is the playing board where the prize of souls which is the point of the war reside and live and have their being. Where you and I reside. We are the targets in this War.

It seems increasingly obvious that the Supernatural battle is spilling over into the Natural battlefield in escalating intensity and frequency. In ways we are not used to seeing. In ways we would rather not be seeing. With heavy casualties mounting daily. A kind of Spiritual/Natural spreading combat right here on Planet Earth. Right here in America. Right here in each of our neighborhoods. Right here in each of our homes. Some see it. Many cannot recognize it. Most cannot or will not acknowledge it.

The Battle is for all the Marbles. For my soul. For your soul Katherine and the souls of your family. All of humanity’s souls. All 8 billion plus of us on this planet. A huge Spiritual/Natural battlefield. Now erupting in stunning fireworks visible to more and more awake souls.

It is a battle reaching right into the heart of the Church. Claiming victims at the top of the hierarchy and many casualties through the clergy, religious and great swaths of the laity. Raging.

I have a growing conviction that Mary Our Mother is at the center of the Army of Good waging war in defense of souls. Kind of like Ike. The Supreme Commander. Top General and chief strategist planning operations. She has been preparing and “shaping” the battlefield on the Natural Plane for over a century now with apparitions and locutions and instructions to souls to prepare for and to be ready to engage in our own defense.

Today I believe Mary is recruiting warriors to engage the enemy. In their own defense and the defense of others perhaps too weak or elderly or sick or otherwise incapable to participate directly in hand to hand combat with hardened diabolical warriors intent on murdering our souls.

Mary is recruiting a human army to engage Satan on the Natural Plane of the Suoernatural/Natural War for Souls. She is mobilizing the world. To defend itself.

As in any Army there are a myriad of tasks that must be accomplished to win the final victory. There are the glamorous and dangerous tasks of the Marines and Special Forces and Seals who engage in hand to hand combat with equally hardened enemy combatants. But there are also cooks and dishwashers and bus drivers and all the support functions that must be accomplished to secure the victory. Somebody has to take care of the children and keep the home fires burning.

The human combatants on the Natural Plane of this Supernatural/Natural War for Souls might be called “minions”. A minion is someone who serves a higher authority. There are minions of Evil and minions of Good on this planet. Mary is putting out the call for an Army of minions to form up and enter the battle.

Katherine you describe with eloquence how you feel your role as a member of Mary’s Army is playing out. You have answered the call for recruits. You are in for the duration.

Charlie advises us all to play our position well. You, Katherine, are a shining example of what Charlie is talking about.

Mary’s role is critical. A human being, without sin, who is the Queen of Heaven. An amazing cross between Human/Supernatural. A portal. A mediatrix. An organizer. A General. Head recruiter.

Mary has a unique ability to steer man to her Son and to steer her Son to man. A kind of match maker supreme:

“Storm Tracker Ed, may I present my Son, Jesus. Jesus, this is Storm Tracker Ed. I want you two to be friends.”

What we are witnessing in the Kavanaugh nomination struggle is a visible manifestations of the interactions …. call it Natural/Supernatural Spiritual Combat … of the human minions of Evil v the human minions of Good. Visible. Obvious. Fireworks. Shocking. Stunning. Eye opening. In some ways horrifying and terrifying. Leaving us with an uneasy fear about the outcome of the War on Souls.

What to do in response to this perhaps unwanted exposure to Spiritual Combat played out right in our living rooms? Well, we can fall down in a terrified lump on the floor and tremble. Or, we can line up at Mary’s recruiting table and enlist in the fight.

It is going to take all of us in whatever capacity we are able and/or suited for. Mary knows what that is.

Where do you sign up? Where is Mary’s Recruiting Office?

Pick up a Rosary. Find a copy of the directions. You are there. Mary will be there to greet you and welcome you to the Team. She will take you through the rest of the process including accompanying you through your Spiritual Boot Camp.

It won’t be easy. War is not an easy thing. It is a very real and dangerous and uncertain encounter. Your enemy is well trained and vicious and merciless and wants you dead. Spiritually dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. For all eternity. For real. You will be Attacked for your efforts. Even those called to make the spaghetti and meatballs for the troops. You may be knocked on your can. You may be
driven to your knees in pain and shock and even lead to despair. You may suffer in ways you never imagined for being a Soldier for Souls. The Attack can be brutal. Just ask Judge Kavanaugh.

But there is this in store for those who summon the courage to sign up for the duration:

Mary will introduce you to her Son. ” May I present my Son, Jesus. I want you two to be friends”.

I kind of got blind sided and shocked by the Church and political news being unveiled of late. Your reminder of what is truly at stake is an incentive to keep me focused and persevering. Again, thankyou. Charlie’s advice to take one step at a time and deal with what is in front of you is certainly sound advice. God bless everyone here!

      2. I’ve been sitting here trying to type a reply to your wonderful post . . . my son won’t go to bed. He’s decided to thump on the floor of his room upstairs for my attention because I told him not come out of his room to call for me again. And now I have to decide what to do about that. My battles are like these; really small ones. I’m trying to find my way through microscopic impossible conundrums and not knowing quite how to do it, but asking God and Mary every morning to help me handle crazy things in a holy way. How DO you handle the kids fighting upstairs when you’ve just started the tricky part in making pastry cream for a birthday cake in a holy way? Where exactly is that line between the righteous anger that my kids NEED to see for their edification . . . and overreacting? When does patience become permissiveness? Am I being lazy right now or do I really need this break? And in marriage too . . . we must all strive in every little thing to reflect the love of God. Loads of tiny battles. We can die to ourselves and allow the splendor of the Trinity to work through us by paying attention to these small battles. You know, each one of us might be the only contact with God that some people have all day. We bring God to the world. Wherever God is, there is winning. God doesn’t try to win, He just does. We must bring God to the world as much as we can. Mary is the expert on that. Not only did she bring God to the world, but she brings all of us into God. As Eve was the mother of mankind, so Mary is our mother who brings us to be born into eternity. She is our powerful queen and mother who knows exactly what must be done. I have no idea where I am going with this anymore, it’s been a long day! So, I’ll just stop here. Carry on, Christian Soldiers! Let’s all fight the good fight.

        1. Katherine, I would say that people often confuse the secular size of a task with the spiritual importance of the task. No matter the secular size of a task, we each have a task in front of us in any specific moment, and how we do that task matters far more than the apparent size of the task. That is as true for Donald Trump as it is for you or me. 🙂

Please take the time to review as it describes Ed’s point. I find myself more and more praying for the conversion of sinners and Holy Souls in Purgatory.

“Eternal Father, I offer you the most precious Blood of your Divine Son Jesus, in union with all the masses said throughout the World today, for the conversion of sinners, for sinners everywhere, those in my home and within my Family”

        *******

        retrieved from the EWTN website

“Here is the St. Gertrude The Great Prayer:

Eternal Father I offer you the most precious blood of your divine son Jesus in union with the masses said throughout the world today for all the holy souls in purgatory for sinners everywhere sinners in the universal church those in my own home and within my family. Amen. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

St Gertrude The Great praying this prayer may have released 1000 souls from purgatory each time she said it but that does not mean that this will occur when we say it.

The efficacy of ones prayers is directly related to the level of sanctity and virtue posessed by the individual. That’s why we pray for the intercession of various saints. We believe their prayers before God are more efficacious than ours.”

    3. Katherine, you don’t realize how much on the front line you are. As a teacher I see and experience it day in and day out. We teachers can tell which kids are being raised in “good” homes. In my school the balance has really tipped. You are fighting with an invisible sword every day you send your kids out there. Keep up the GREAT work. Pray for us teachers. Thank you.

    4. Oh my goodness, Katherine… that was fantastic! You just described, with both elegance and humor, precisely where I am in my day-to-day life. Like you, I have the station of a mouse (although, unlike you, I do not have the heart of a lion… maybe more the heart of a tabby cat). But this is what I KNOW the Lord wants me to be doing right now, rather than my being “out there” on the front lines with my sword. God bless you as you man your home-front battle-station; and please pray for me as I man mine. Boy, it gives a whole new meaning to 2 Timothy 1:14, doesn’t it? 🙂

    5. Katherine, you have reminded me most clearly of my own perception of my current mission. I am called not to tell people what to think but merely to point the way and let them think it through. At a retreat some years ago, I realized that more than one had voiced the feeling that they were called by God to do something special, a frequent theme. I realized and shared with them that we often get feedback that some simple thing we had done made a significant impact on them and their life. Perhaps we are not called to any great single thing but a plethora of the little things that make a real difference in people’s lives. This puts me in mind of the real impact of acknowledging God, taking the next right step, and being a sign of hope to those around us. May the Holy Spirit continue to protect us and guide us, lead us to all holiness and truth.

  21. It’s sad to see the world and the Church and the state we are in. But we shouldn’t be surprised. In the “political” sphere we aren’t just seeing politics. Remember that abortion is a sacrament to the secular and particularly the feminist left. They revere it. They love it. It is their foundation stone, not just another policy debate. They will do anything to protect it because at its root it is a blood sacrifice made by our country to Satan, and they will do their father’s bidding to preserve it. What does their father do? Accuse, lie, slander, cause chaos, revel in the destruction of people especially Catholics. They see Kavanaugh as a threat to their sacrament and will stop at nothing to keep him out. Our weapons have to be spiritual because this is a spiritual fight. Unfortunately they have allies in the Church. Example: America magazine just withdrew their support for Kavanaugh. In a way i feel like he is a martyr.

In the Church, we are finding corruption as bad as anything in the Middle Ages. Back then it was basically out in the open, as it is coming into the open now. Another of satan’s favorite activities: bacchanal. Sins of the flesh driving people to ruin or making them silent, especially clergy, a great prize for the evil one. We are finding out that many priests and bishops have been living sacrilege for decades. And now instead of repenting they are demanding that we either accept what they’ve done or be labeled bigots; or ignore what’s happened as a “private matter.” Worry about recycling instead. Cardinal Maradiaga, a man trained in moral theology, stated that this abuse is a private, administrative matter. Does he have no understanding of the basics? No serious sin is private in the Church, moral theology 101. They expect continued apathy, ignorance, spiritual and social laziness from the faithful. We can’t let them be right.

Charlie, i’m glad you gave an endorsement to Micheal Voris. I don’t agree with everything he says or how he says it, but I love his warrior spirit and you can tell he does it for love of the Church, and he speaks with both journalistic and moral integrity. We need men of courage like that, to stand in contrast to the weak-kneed and feminized “men” who have captured half the church.

God bless and strengthen us that we may not flee from the battle.

    1. Lake, your comment “No serious sin is private in the Church, moral theology 101.” triggered in me something which I have never resolved.

You could say that this is a little off topic but really what are we all talking about these days – the father of lies and SIN. When Amoris Laetitia was released and there was, and still is, great debate, for one thing, over the issue of remarried Catholics being able to receive Holy Communion, I always had the feeling that the two opposing camps were debating two separate points and it really grated on me.

One group was saying that it is wrong to deny repentant people (whether they were living as brother and sister or not, because for some to do so would be harmful to the greater good of the family) the Holy Sacrament (or to use the common repugnant phrase – deny ACCESS to, as if it was just a matter of opening a gate to Jesus) which would ultimately help them in their spiritual life; i.e. the main concern was the current welfare of those caught in a dilemma of our own making and of the Church failing to be inclusive – considered also to be a serious social sin.

The other group was saying that for a Catholic to be living in a second marriage as a normal married spouse is something that cannot be sacramentally absolved and therefore receiving Jesus in Holy Communion would be a serious affront to Our Savior and bring about ANATHEMA on that person, i.e. the main concern was the offence against God and the eternal welfare of those involved and of the Church watering-down doctrine – considered to be a seriously answerable failure.

Yes, the priests now have to make the judgement call – the devastating onus has passed from the penitent to the confessor – a very serious position indeed. Once upon a time we called serious sin – mortal sin – and it had a bigger impact on us – you know, if we died right now we might have nowhere to go but Hell! In other words it was the penitent who already knew right from wrong.

Only God knows where and how He is going to apply mercy at the time of our passing but do we, the Church, fail in trusting God by taking matters of mercy into our own hands and taking it to the periphery in order to draw more men into the Kingdom? We all want salvation for everyone – who wouldn’t. We know that we have to preach the Word/ Truth in season and out – it has a saving light of it’s own and the loving thing is to trust God first (to work the wonders of His Mercy) and our neighbours will bear the fruit of that loving obedience.

It is the same old test over again.

The Holy Father is a great promoter of Our Lady Untier of Knots. Holy Father, please untie Our Lady’s hands by proclaiming the Fifth Marian Dogma. The new Eve, the Mother of All Peoples, is just awaiting the Church’s official word before she can reward the simple trust of Her little ones by working the wonders of God’s Mercy, and yes, it will be through a great explosion of light (reminiscent of the October 13 Miracle of the Sun), resultant conversions and the gift of the restored Church for the world. It is hard to imagine right now but there is great expectation for this new birth, symbolised by the Rev 12 Sign last year.

      1. Wow, Karen! The very crux of the matter: “Only God knows where and how He is going to apply mercy at the time of our passing but do we, the Church, fail in trusting God by taking matters of mercy into our own hands and taking it to the periphery in order to draw more men into the Kingdom? We all want salvation for everyone – who wouldn’t. Sad to say, in respect, this business of taking matters of mercy into our own hands is the very internal conflict I see at some critical times in our current Pope’s actions. His missteps in “rehabilitating” then Cardinal McCarrick and the others in the Roman Curia, his “slip,” or whatever you want to call it, by telling the atheist journalist that hell doesn’t exist – then remaining silent on correcting this widely broadcast statement, rather than making clear the unshakeable doctrinal teaching from the very words of Christ – his silence in the face of whole Bishop conferences which have allowed internal forum for those in irregular marriages… these reflect his intense desire for mercy for all… sadly, at the expense of Jesus’ teachings. I have no ill will for either Pope Francis or those stuck in grave sin. Ed wrote about entering Our Lady’s Army. I would wager the majority of those who have been in our community have done so and some have done so long ago. Praying for Pope Francis, daily and with love, for the Love of Christ overcomes evil.

        1. Along this line I have been disturbed and confused by Pope Francis’ comments of the Lord’s Prayer. His “suggestion” that the wording ought to be changed. His argument is briefly stated in this article from the Catholic Herald of the UK.

“Pope Francis calls for Lord’s Prayer translation to be changed

He said the line ‘and lead us not into temptation’ is a bad translation

Pope Francis has called for the Italian translation of the Lord’s Prayer to be changed as it implies God leads people into temptation.

The line, which is traditionally translated into English as “And lead us not into temptation”, was recently changed in French to say “do not let us enter into temptation.”

Currently, the Italian translation is rendered in the same way as the English, implying a change in the English version may also be coming.

Asked about the change on French TV, the Pope said the traditional phrasing is “not a good translation”.

“I am the one who falls. It’s not him pushing me into temptation to then see how I have fallen,” he said. “A father doesn’t do that, a father helps you to get up immediately. It’s Satan who leads us into temptation, that’s his department.”

In the Roman Missal, the line, which is also known as the Sixth Petition, is rendered in Latin “et ne nos inducas in tentationem”. However, the word “tentationem” and its Greek equivalent “πειρασμόν” have been translated in various ways over the centuries.

Some say it better translates as “trial” or “testing”, and could refer either to the Last Judgment or to trials described elsewhere in Scripture, such as the ones suffered by Job.”

I am reading Pope Benedict’s book Jesus of Nazareth. He devotes some time addressing Temptation and specifically Jesus’ Temptations in the desert immediately after his Baptism by John at the Jordan River. Here in pertinent part is the interpretation of Temptation by Pope Benedict:

“The point at issue is revealed in Jesus’ answer (to the Devil), which is taken from Deuteronomy: “You shall not put the Lord your God to the test” (Deut 6:16) This passage from Deuteronomy alludes to the story of how Israel almost perished of thirst in the desert. Israel rebels against Moses, and in so doing rebels against God. GOD HAS TO PROVE THAT HE IS GOD. The Bible describes this rebellion against God as follows: “They PUT THE LORD TO THE PROOF by saying, “Is God among us or not? (Ex 17:17) The issue, then, is that is the one we have already encountered: God has to submit to the experiment. He is “tested”, just as products are tested. He must submit to the conditions that we say are necessary if we are to reach certainty. If he doesn’t grant us now the protection he promised in Psalm 91, then he is simply not God. He will have shown his own word, and himself too, to be false.

…… From this scene on the pinnacle of the Temple, though we can look out and see the Cross. Christ did not cast himself down from the pinnacle of the Temple. He did not leap into the abyss. He did not tempt God. But he did descend int the abyss of death, into the night of abandonment, and into the desolation of the defenseless. He ventured THIS leap as an act of God’s love for men. And so he knew that, ultimately, when he leaped he could only fall into the kindly hands of the Father. This brings to light the real meaning of Psalm 91, which has to do with the right to the ultimate and unlimited trust of which the Psalm speaks. If you follow the will of God, you know that in spite of all the terrible things that happen to you, you will never lose a final refuge. You KNOW that the foundation of the world is love, so that even when no human being can help you, you may go on, trusting in the One who loves you. Yet this trust, which we cultivate on the authority of Scripture and at the INVITATION of the risen Lord, is something quite different from the reckless defiance of God that would make God our servant.

….. Matthew and Luke recount three Temptations of Jesus that reflect the inner struggle over his own particular mission and, at the same time, address the question as to what truly matters in human life. At the heart of all temptations, as we see here, is the act of pushing God aside because we perceive him as secondary, if not actually superfluous and annoying, in comparison with all the apparently far more urgent matters that fill our lives. Constructing a world by our own lights without reference to God, building on our own foundations; refusing to acknowledge the reality of anything beyond the political and the material, while setting God aside as an illusion —— that is the temptation that threatens us in many varied forms.”
          Pope Benedict XVI

Puts temptation into a clearer perspective doesn’t it?

It seems pretty obvious to me that Pope Francis has never read Pope Benedict’s book. In the Lord’s Prayer Jesus is asking the Father to deliver him from Evil. The Evil being he, Jesus, putting God the Father to the test. The evil of requiring his Father to prove himself. Thus the meaning of Jesus response to the Devil. He overcame that Evil.

Putting God to the test to prove himself is temptation. Resisting and overcoming that temptation is not easy but necessary. Jesus’ prayer is a reflection of the human part of his nature. And the human desire to be spared this evil. Thy will be done. Not mine Father. Please relieve me of these constant calls for me to put you to the test. Those calls upon Jesus continued throughout his public ministry.

To live in and with Jesus is to be subject to the same call to put God to the test to prove himself. To suffer temptation. And to overcome it. To resist it. To struggle with it as Jesus struggled with it on a day to day basis. A barrage of temptation. Can you imagine?

Our human condition. A necessary trial. Thy will be done.

That Pope Francis thinks it simply boils down to ““do not let us enter into temptation rather than do not lead us into temptation” is missing the point. We are in it. We were in it the day we were born. So was the man Jesus. It is the human condition. The operative phrase of that prayer is “deliver us from Evil”.

That path of delivery for Jesus was the path that led to the Cross. Jesus is asking the Father in this prayer to let the cup of temptation pass from his lips. The same prayer he prayed at the end in the Garden. It was the human side of him praying that prayer. Temptation and overcoming that temptation and following Jesus to our own Cross and not putting God to the test in the process. But leaping into the abyss and into the kindly hands of the Father.

No temptation … no encouragement to put God to the test to prove himself as set in front of us by the Devil … and no leap. No leap into the kindly hands of the Father. No transiting of the human condition.

Do not let us enter into temptation? Satan get thee behind me!

This world we are moving through today is a battlefield of temptation. Of invitation by Evil to put God to the test. To prove himself. It’s a tough road or path which humanity, like Jesus himself, must travel over. It is the human condition. Let this cup pass from OUR lips. But thy will be done … on Earth in our time in our country and our homes … as it is in heaven. Deliver us from this Evil. Even it it leads to and through our own personal Cross.

“If you follow the will of God, you know that in spite of all the terrible things that happen to you, you will never lose a final refuge. You KNOW that the foundation of the world is love, so that even when no human being can help you, you may go on, trusting in the One who loves you.”
          Pope Benedict XVI

When we walk with Jesus we walk with Jesus. We die with Jesus and we rise with Jesus.

The battle rages and waxes. Please Father lead me not down this path of temptation and putting you to the test to prove you exist. Deliver me from evil. For I am human. But thy will be done. If this is the path that Jesus walks then I walk with him.

Judge Kavanaugh is learning the meaning of walking with Jesus this very day. It’s a hard road.

“Praying for Pope Francis, daily and with love, for the Love of Christ overcomes evil.”

          Amen.

        2. Yes, prayers for all of these things. We know some that have been away from Church for decades and then because they love our Pope’s words have returned to the Church and receiving the Sacrament of Confession. Unfortunately, whether a priest has done this without realizing it is wrong or not, he has said that it is not necessary to get an Annulment from a previous marriage even though there has been a second marriage outside the Church . Such tough times- joy in wanting all to be in the Church and sadness at the lack of truth one is given from authorities so that the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist is received worthily. Prayers for much mercy, truth to be shown and for truth to be chosen.

          1. Thankful, it is impossible for a priest, trained in theology as all seminarians have been, to “not realize” an annulment is necessary for someone in order to marry again in the Church. Joining you in prayer for truth to be proclaimed and taught and for people to know the totality of Christ’s message wherein God’s Mercy is the very fiber of His Justice.

  23. Another great article Charlie! I do very much appreciate your take one all events.

Regarding Church Militant…I have taken in Micheal Voris’ perspective on and off…I think that he has a lot to offer. I did however have one experience that left me wondering if he did indeed vet things as carefully as you feel he does.

After multiple very disparaging reports on our Lady of Medjugorje (myself and my family all are Catholic now as a direct result of Her) I sent in a comment that I thought perhaps it was premature to declare the whole thing to be a hoax and that maybe we should all wait to see what the official word is before elevating ourselves to the position of being the official judge o this.

That was enough to get my subscription cancelled and get me booted.

Now I am familiar with the sources of information that he was using to determine the authenticity, it’s just that there are other sources of info out there as well and I’m not sure that he did weight and vet all those sources well before declaring himself to be judge over the whole thing.

I could be wrong and I will certainly accept the official outcome, but I’m not sure that, as much good as he does do, Michael Voris is in a position to provide us with that.

    God bless us all,

    Brad J

    1. I was deeply disappointed that there was NO serious vetting of this story in Church Militant. It seemed it just advanced a convenient narrative. Church Militant does some good work, but I can’t rely on a source that is this indifferent in vetting a serious story that makes such accusations. I know they do not have the sources I do in Denver, but reading it, it seemed there was not even any effort to get the other side – even with some serious red flags in Nix’ story on its own.

      1. I had the same initial reaction to the Church Militant story, Charlie. With all that is rapidly unfolding and all that is to come, your exhortation to be deliberate and judge with righteous judgement is paramount in discerning… especially in these days.

    1. Seems believable, Timothy. Let’s work this vetting out together. If anyone finds this story to be shakey or untrue, please speak to it, so we can judge with righteous judgement on this and if it is not true, I’d simply delete the link. I will add, even if true, long before the Arch of Baal was erected, the troubles in the culture and the Church have been growing and festering for years and years. Maranatha!

      1. Jonathan Cahn who wrote “The Harbinger” wrote this account and his video too. While we may not fully agree with his conclusions, in the past he has been right on the events he was commenting on. Those of us who have been involved in deliverance prayer know that certain occult objects can be a doorway to evil and how ironic that this is an actual doorway recreated to evil recreated.

  24. Today, the Holy League posted an email reflection on this Feast of the Archangels St. Michael, Gabriel and Rafael worth reiterating:

“DAY 46 – MARY, QUEEN ASSUMED INTO HEAVEN, PRAY FOR US

    BORDER WALKERS

Priest: Bishop. Robert Barron says, “A priest prays for others, intercedes, and performs sacrifices. Priests are border walkers. They walk the border between heaven and earth. They are mediators as friends of God and friends of the human race. They bring divinity and humanity together. It means you must be a person of prayer – intercessory prayer – prayer on behalf of others. It pleases God to channel his providential care precisely through us and through the instrumentality of our prayer.”

Recall the last line of the Warrior Ethos: “I will never leave a fallen comrade.” Consider the recent Medal of Honor recipients who reportedly ran through a hail of bullets to rescue their comrades from the clutches of the enemy. It is very similar in the spiritual realm. When our loved ones are “dead in sin,” they are not only separated from God, but they lose their desire to seek God. Some become so far removed from God that they find repulsive all things spiritual. So, prayer, Holy Mass, spiritual reading, etc. all become boring and, to some, even detestable when they are dead inside: no Divine Life. They are, quite literally, caught behind enemy lines (imprisoned in their worldliness) with no way out unless some campaign of search and rescue is launched. Does our love, care, and concerns for them extend to their eternal salvation? Remember the Warrior Ethos: “I will never leave a fallen comrade!”

St. John Vianney understood this critical need to call out to God in prayer on behalf of those caught in the clutches of the enemy and unable to save themselves:

“I can’t stop praying for poor sinners who are on the road to hell. If they come to die in that state, they will be lost for all eternity. What a pity! We have to pray for sinners! Praying for sinners is the most beautiful and useful of prayers because the just are on the way to heaven, the souls of purgatory are sure to enter there, but the poor sinners will be lost forever. All devotions are good but there is no better one than such prayer for sinners.” (Excerpt from Church Militant Field Manual).

His second article “deleting your accounts” is a must read as well.

How this relates to Alexander S.? The communists had lists and questions. If your name was on the list, you were wisked to the gulag. If you answered differently you were shot. We (we) now have provided the list, questions to the ‘communist’ organizations freely via facebook, google, snap chat etc. All it takes is for a ‘switch’ to be turned on and we are in another place…figuratively speaking. However, they failed one crucial step… remove the guns from the population.

We now host more guns/ammo/ knowledge in how to use in our history. Twenty years of war (experience) has not helped their cause either. The Kavannaugh hearing has made people’s blood boil.

    1. Well, Bob, I think Fr. Kalchik could have some inner turmoil too. In the heat of these battles, perhaps it would have been more prudent to have prayed the exorcism prayers in a less public way. Given his superior’s track record, the public way of praying was bound to bring forceful pushback. But maybe that’s what Father and his parishioners wanted… that is, to raise public awareness.

  26. What we need to do is to do our best to ensure that the plans of the opposition (not JUST Democrats, but Social Democrats, Progressives, Socialists, and the like) fail. A good part of that is voting in the mid-term elections, and making sure you KNOW who you’re voting for.

Even more so, we need to turn to Scripture:

End the evil of those who are wicked, and defend the righteous. For you look deep within the mind and heart, O righteous God. (Psalm 7:9).

Start praying Psalms 7, 27, 31, 34, and 52 every day until election day.

  27. A friend sent me this. Don’t know if it’s true, but it’s a good idea!

Ashley Kavanaugh has asked that Psalm 40 be prayed for her husband, Brett, and for her family.

    Psalm 40
    1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
    2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.

4 Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.
5 Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.
    8 I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart.”

9 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know.
    10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
    from the great assembly.

11 Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
12 For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me.
    13 Be pleased to save me, Lord;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.
14 May all who want to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
15 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!” be appalled at their own shame.
    16 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,“The Lord is great!”
17 But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; You are my God, do not delay.

  28. Check out this body language analysis of Christine Ford’s…ummm…”performance”. I was unable to watch more than snippets of her statements during the actual hearing, but I had the nagging sense that something was a bit “off” about the way she carried herself. “Body Language Ghost” does a great job of pointing out the oddities/incongruencies! (edit, Since I don’t have time to vet the full video, lin, I’ll share the search words for those who wish to check this out: “Body Language: Brett Kavanaugh Hearing Christine Blasey Ford”)

  29. Couldn’t agree with you more Charlie. My relief and joy at seeing how God began to “take out the trash” right after so many signs and wonders began lining up was a rush, a glimpse of what is to come.

I have an item on “my list” that I pray He is going to address sooner, rather than later. I call it the satan’s Plan B. That is if you believe that Abortion would qualify as the “A” Plan.

Plan B entails the complete takeover of parental rights and the forced injection of our children with not only vast amounts of toxicity and brain damaging chemicals but the ruse that “Safe and Effective” needs to include injecting us all with Aborted Fetal Cell Lines in those same jabs.

Twenty-Seven Vaccines contain Fetal Cell lines and not just old ones. They are chock full of newbies under the pseudonyms MRC-5, PER C6, HEK 293, to name a very few. With hundreds more vaccines in the pipeline, they will have plenty of friends in new places.

Most Christians are not aware of the presence of Fetal Cells in the vaccines and its potential effect of autoimmune disorders, autism, and some posit, the Transgender issues we are seeing due to opposite-sex DNA being injected. They, in turn, play with massive amounts of ingredients such as Aluminum, the carcinogenic Round-Up (Glyphosate) and PolySorbate-80, embalming fluid (Formaldehyde), all manner of animal DNA, antifreeze, gelatin, antibiotics, Borax, and many, many more. Oh, and yes, mercury is still present and accounted for.

In the 69 vaccines the on the CDC schedule for children 0-18, you can expect your child or grandchild to have nearly 12 mg of Aluminum causing massive inflammatory responses in their body. Safe and Effective? On what planet?

The satan has led us to an entire generation of sickness and death in our children that places 1 out of 6 with special needs. Allergies? Vax. Autism? Vax. Asthma, ADHD, Autoimmune Disorders? Vax. We have more children die on the first day of life than any other wealthy country in the world thanks to toxic levels found in two shots given the first day of life. If they don’t die then, maybe they die from SIDS in months 2, 4 and 6 when the load of toxins in those shots is massive in those tiny bodies. Then, if that doesn’t get them, wait until they develop all manner of neurological disorders in the next few rounds. If they make it to puberty, they can look forward to the possibility of infertility, or many other autoimmune or debilitating disorders that are plaguing our young women, and many young men today from the HPV vaccines which are being banned in other countries due to the horrendous side effects. The Pharma Cartel is jubilantly exempt from any and all blame as they have full immunity deposited upon them from the President of the United States, Ronald Reagan…oops.

Countries all over the world are waking up to the poisoning of our future and it bears the tracking device of those fetal cells that spell Cannibalization. What a plan! And, like Abortion, all for the common good. A parent has their own child poisoned or killed. I did…I happen to have four adopted children who developed special needs. Our most severe is non-verbal, in diapers, 24 years old but functionally 2 years. I bought the lie. I am far from alone.

    Come on Jesus!

You can find a ZILLION LINKS for this info. You can find just as many written by doctors, scientists, researchers, and parents of vaccine injured children to support everything here and so much more than you will be unable to stop crying at what we have done and believed. Watch the videos and view the memorials from the parents of the children who have died that you will never see in the media.

  31. Late to post this. Call me naive, but I never considered:

“It has come as a shock to us that many in the Church hierarchy have adopted the same ethos: they think the Church is a man-made source of power and influence and that the only true virtue is to seize as much of it as they can.”

I’ve wondered how those among clergy — and I exclude those who are fighting their sinful inclinations — can blatantly disregard Church Teaching, seemingly not fearing their day of personal judgement. So, there are men who chose the priesthood as a career path because, if they learned the right things to say — even if they didn’t believe it — they could “make a good living” and be in a position of power??? Am I understanding that correctly? I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around this. Wow.

Thanks to Charlie, Beckita, and all on this forum — very helpful. God bless.

    1. Dan, I think you have described one facet of the crisis but it seems to be multi-factorial. I often wonder if some who were struggling with same-sex attraction entered the priesthood in hopes of a structure which would hold them to chastity. I’ve, also, read many a personal account of a young, innocent teen who entered seminary, was sexually abused and blackmailed, and then went on to abuse others. Then there’s the Bella Dodd revelations. (SOG Fulton Sheen shepherded Bella to conversion and she conveyed that communists had intentionally planted men to become priests in the USA for the purpose of destroying the Church from within.) Heartbreaking and ugly stuff. Toss in all our sins of commission and omission and we’ve concocted one wicked stew. Maranatha!
